My advise: buy tickets in advance!! You can ONLY buy them online. If you can't get a ticket for the days you will be there at Amsterdam, they put on sale some tickets for the same day (again ONLY online) at 9am. What I did was, i setup the alarm at 8.55am and just started to wait on their website. Eventually I was given a chance to choose my entry hour.

DO go at the time of your ticket. There is a time window that you have to enter. The audio guide is included and you must pick it up and choose your language before you enter. Toilets are available at the start and at the end of the visit.

LARGE backpacks or bags are not allowed so bare that in mind. You can carry your camera but you are not allowed to take pictures inside.
