I just wanted to drop a quick note here and express my upmost gratitude for the employees of Stevens Pass. They saved my ski day by offering me a free demo because my gear was broken, despite having no obligation to do it.

I went to the demo shop to see if they had an extra set of pins for my marker kingpin binding after discovering that the pins had broken on my binding before my first run of the day (side note: don t get the kingpins! ) Unfortunately they did not. However, Cashmere took pity on me and let me rent a pair of demo skis for the day so my day wasn t ruined. He offered excellent customer service, and I really wanted to thank him and the rest of the staff.

He sent me over to Matt at the demo shop who queued me up with the perfect set of skis , that could fit my touring boots. Matt even Let me return the skis the next morning so that I could go on the camping trip I had planned.

Let me emphasize that nobody was under any obligation to do this, the gear that broke was my own, not a rental from Stevens. Although they gave me the demo for free, I can assure you it made my day, and will pay off financially in the long run too for stevens. I ve been skiing Stevens pass my whole life, and with employees like this, will continue to ski Stevens my whole life and recommend it to everyone I know.
