I regret to say that I was very disappointed with the Mutiny. The disappointment comes not from the quality of the accommodation, the room was excellent, but rather with the penny-pinching attitude of the hotel. Guests at the Mutiny are already paying a premium for a first class suite. The sitting room is a good size and comfortably furnished. The kitchen has everything you need in terms of appliances. The bedroom is spacious, has a comfortable bed, and a walk-in closet. The bathroom is a decent size and was spotlessly clean. So why the disappointment? Perhaps the most irritating thing was the absolutely abysmal free WiFi. Not only was it s speed only marginally better than dial up, but you are restricted to 2 devices. So if you use your smartphone and your laptop, that s all you can have. Fine if you re on your own, but this is a two person suite. Getting one device disconnected to allow another person to use WiFi requires a phone call to some off-site tech outfit that does their WiFi. Of course, you could pay $9.99 a day for better WiFi, but come on, that should not be necessary at the price of these suites. Also disappointed to find the coffee maker in the kitchen was supplied with only one bag of coffee good enough for only 4 small cups of coffee - again, why so stingy at these prices? Then there s the mandatory valet parking at $30 a day - that s like a 10% surcharge. Parking really should be free at these prices, or at least deeply discounted. I do not understand why the Mutiny feels the need to nickel and dime guest, and I did not ask why when I checked out. I simply resolved not to stay here again.
