The campus is nice, most of the historic buildings are right near the Mountainlair, the only problem is that this is an extremely hilly campus, so be prepared for a bit of a hike unless you dip into much of the college buildings and take the various elevators.
Michelle Withers and Micah Waltz are HORRIBLE BIOLOGY PROFESSORS/TA'S! THEY DESERVE TO BE FIRED! Worst Biology department ever. Michelle withers does not teach the material and never gives study guides to students and therefore most students fail her Bio 115 class. micah waltz is a terrible laboratory ta and will never return your work to you, and will often misgrade you due to his lack of organization and NEVER COMMUNICATES with his students. Neither of these pigs show up to their "office hours" and fail to reply to students emails
The PRT is the future...yet it is already forty years old. Great fun and only fifty cents.
I'm glad a bank finally came to WVU that can cater to most people from the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. The location is very convenient, but it is TOO small for the demand of people needing to use it.
Love being able to finally call this my alma mater! Great times at this school. To you freshmen, take advantage of the Mountainlair and invest yourself in this school and you will get the full return plus much more.
My granddaughter is attending WVU and it's her first year here and she loves it!! She is very happy here!.
As a young man it was obviously a great party school. Not a WVU fan as I am a rutgers alumni and played in the big east at that time. Have recently returned to the area for health reasons as a young man with a family. Was easily taken aback at the sheer beauty of a university placed in the amazing backdrop of the mountains. Great heathcare atleast compared to our meagre country boy existance out here. Clean enviorment and im sure there would be much to involve yourself in as a young adult or with a family.
really friendly people, great team spirit, I would highly recomend
Ruby Memorial Hospital Pediatrics floor is TOP NOTCH in patient care. The pediatric surgical team took care of my son.
Love my job, great coworkers and management excellence with team work!
There is a handicapped entrance on the West Side of the building.
Everyone is super friendly and helpful. There are always events going on on or around campus. Great atmosphere to be surrounded by
Historic going back to Civil War - 2 large campuses made easy to get around using the PRT - Personal Rapid Transportation cars whisk students & area residents from one campus to the other cutting down on need for cars. Enjoys a good reputation for schooling and has almost every discipline of study. For parents what appears a large school is personalized with the assignment of the same adviser for entire college experience.
It's a very good college it just needs some school supplies for the students in the classrooms
Great school with a gorgeous campus. Classes are generally high quality and the food options on campus are good.
I love this place because my mom and dad went there .
Spent my Freshman and Sophomore years in college here (before transferring because of the out of state cost) they were two of the best years of my life. Love this campus. Loved going to the Coliseum for the Basketball games.
Beautiful and big school. Great atmosphere for both international and American students.
My daughter is a current freshman at West Virginia University. So far we have been impressed with her experience.
