Great place but there is always a long line to get in and not much seating.

Missed 2 lessons, reception mentioned having make up lessons but DID NOT say they had to be within the same term, so just tried to organise the makeup lesson and got told "sorry, nOthiNg wE CaN dO". So yeah, take my money now, never again though!

This place is not short on size with 2 professional sized olympic swimming pools a dive pool,a wave pool,spa and hydro slide west wave is your go to place for a swim

Always clean . But put off by some of the locals who frequent there however.

Nice big wave pool and hydro slide and a 50m or( 2x 25 metre pools) with a diving board.

I think I may have spotted a fish once, will come again to look for it one more time.

Gyms very accomodating having a new downstairs for cardio type workouts & upstairs for weights & group class workouts & having the wave pool (at times like school holidays it seems quite dirty) to cool you down or spa pools to relax your muscles plus the added bonus of a steam sauna or a dry sauna

Has so much promise, but is never fully staffed to be fully open. Last year we queued to get into the wave pool for over half an hour as not enough life guards but gave up. We decided to give it another go yesterday, but 9:45am we still had to queue for the wave pool for 15 mins, there were no waves for the 1 1/2hrs we we're there and the slide was closed. We won't try going here again.

Tried to come here for a swim but the main wave pool was closed due to "biohazard" . Understandable because, you know, health and safety first but the staff had no idea how long it would take to clear up and the place was already at full capacity so they could only let people in when someone left. Unless you had a membership to the gym in which case you were free to come and go as you please regardless.
Have visited before and had a good time so not giving up on them yet. But I do think they're in need of some refurbishment/updating.

Our family go here frequently. Since West Wave introduced compulsory swimming pants for 3years and under, come brown is very rare.

Fantastic facility with lap pool, 10m dive pool and a wave pool... plus gym and other indoor sports. Check ahead as to what is open.

It's fun for the family. Has a spa pool a sauna a hydroslide and a wave machine. So cool!!

It's a nice place to take the kiddies for a swim especially during the evening. The only con about this place is food left on the floor near the pools. During each time we have gone there are hot chips squashed in the ground near seating. Counter staff are friendly and considerate of smaller children.

First time that I have been there and they've used the wave machine - awesome!!! Now I know why all the kids love it.

Excellent entertainment for the kids. Good setup in the changing rooms family changing spaces are such a good idea. Not enough family rooms that contain a shower in them and also the family rooms to open to the pool area. My kids love this place so will go back again and again.

Ok whanau 4 me it wasn't all that 15min wait if pools are full gta gt in early 4 table 2 eat umh it was alite my mokos enjoyed it ddnt matter if iddnt think much of it my mokos loved it kiaora took own kai they had nice chips nd wedges lol

Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance, somethings alway broken or closed. Even the iron in the female gym changing rooms doesn't go. I told front desk almost 2 months ago about it. In one ear & out the other.

Good value for money, it's great during level 2 because of the age restriction. But it's good for kids too with plenty of fun kids areas. The changing rooms, especially the private change cubicles could use a more regular clean and more action by the life guards when kids are playing up in areas like the water walking pool where it specifically states the age and need for adult supervision or when lane swimmers decide to swim on the water walking side. It shouldn't be up to other patrons to tell them off. Otherwise it's a great place for a quick dip or an exercise without breaking the bank.

West wave is easy place to get to .clean and tidy no worries parking is easy

Many times we have been and there has been a contamination causing the pool to be closed. This has happened bout three quarters of the time, which is very frustrating although not the pools fault I guess.

Great facility with everything you need, spa, lane pools, sauna, kiddie pool. Staff are lovely and helpful

Great place to take the kids to but a bit cold at this time of the year.

Large parking lot, multiple gyms with many equipments, multiple swimming pools including kiddie pool, spa pool, sauna & steam rooms.
Clean toilets & changing rooms.
Various group classes are held everyday and the trainers are really good.
The only downside to this place is that one or the pools is regularly closed for a few days either due to maintenance or something else.

Closures due to lack of staff have occurred on two occasions recently, May 2017 with people standing waiting in reception, with a wheelchair bound man and carer having to return home as the facility was not able to open for them.
Communication on the website of closures and events is shocking and impossible to contact the pool directly for information, your call will be sent to Auckland council main exchange and you will be on hold as I have been for 12 min now.
The management of this pool facility is ridiculous.

Great place to go it is the only pool with an Olympic diving board my daughter trained here and went to the Olympic games in Rio it has a wave pool a sauna spa pool swim school marshal arts room etc

Hot water in showers ran out early evening . Pleasant staff. Bio hazard once again.

I visited here twice now. First time was around new years on a hot day but managed to get and without any trouble and enjoy the pool, spa and hydroslide goes. Second visit was on a hot weekend day and had to wait 20+ mins for a headcount to be redone. That wasn't too bad as we entertained ourselves in line. Spa was closed due to the heat and the deep area of the pool was cordoned off which I can understand was due to the full capacity and ensuring peoples safety. Plenty of parking and clean changing areas. Appreciate the $2 lockers for 3hrs to keep belongings safe.

Great staff and facilities, free for kids. Can get really busy due to being the only pools facility like this out west.

The main pools were close (my fault for not knowing) but when me and my friends went to the racing lane half of our group got kicked out because we cant swim 25 metres at once but like there were no one there we were still new. The life guard was forcing us to swim unless we get kicked out. Never coming here again

What a great asset this pool is for Henderson. We were there for the masters swimming champs and it was a great event. Although I was a bit concerned for the call for timekeepers to help just before the event started. Lack of planning there

I hate the people who exfoliate in the pools and lost items dont seem to make it back to lost propertie box

Love west wave. Such a great facility. Best ever yoga class. Fantastic pools and really friendly gym staff. And I love how I can use my membership at Glenfield as well.

it's not ok to take your children to the pools who are untrained 2nd time in 3 weeks there has been a code brown closing the pools for others

Small pool a little slippery underfoot. Either wise was good, small crowd to start with then about midday more arrived.

Nice to have fun but if u visiting be ready to a lot just for one day to use all d facilities.

Great cheap pools for the family.
I use to go there with my kids and family member all the time. Haven't been for awhile due to one of there staffs . Did not like my 10 year old nephew. Apparently he was walking to slow up the stairs to the hydro slide for her. As he came out from the slide. She approach him said these exact words. Walk up those stairs at that #@ucking slow pace again. I'll take your tag off you. The slide was not busy , there was no one waiting behind him nor was there a line. Haven't been back sense . Disappointed.

Always have a friendly staff. Visit 4 times a week due to Waterpolo and lane pools and divewell always clean

Could fun for the whole family. But the staff refuse a parent to accompany a young child on the slides.

Really disappointed that we were not informed of this before we paid extra for use of the slide.

Nice place with variety and a big laps pool if you want to get away from the crowds. Could do with a bit of maintenance here and there, but holds up well considering how much use it gets.

Great public pool. Has a good range of pools for all ages

Great recreational pool. We have been bringing our toddler here for over a year. He loves the waemter and this is the perfect place for him to keep building confidence.
Lots of different depths of water to explore.
Highly recommend for a toddler who loves the water.

Limited the numbers so wasnt overcrowded. Did have to wait 15 minutes to get in which was fine considering there was plenty of space in pool to move around.

They have all the facility at one roof. Gym , Swimming pool, Sauna and steam room.They have physio on the same premises.Good shower facility.
