Great place to take kids. Great & big pools with hydroslide and diving boards. Life guards always present. And great staff who give friendly service whenever we go. Parking is ok, but when VERY busy (summertime) you may just need to circle around a couple of times. However, there is a 2 hr limit. And yes I have seen parking wardens patrolling area and marking tyres. lol. Other than that my kid and I always happy & enjoy our time there.

Absolutely love the war and strong class over there. I am visiting westwave fitness center for 5 years now as a casual member but this year I bought my year membership because of those 2 amazing class. I have been hooked by Valeria war classes and Michael strong classes. I never thought instructor made a huge difference but it does ! They are not only teaching us fitness move, they also know how to make the class easy to follow, fun and empower us all to be stronger. I never had such a smile, feel good feeling in the morning before joining those classes and I encourage anyone to give it a go!

THD FACILITY NEEDS SERIOUS RENOVATION ESPECIALLY THE SPA AND SAUNA AREA WHICH WAS WILL BE RENOVATED.

WORK NEEDS DONE ON THE FACILTY WORKING ON THE SPA AND SAUNA.

THE STEAM ROOM MOST TIMES BREAKSDOWN DUE TO POURING WATER OVER THE SENSORS.

BUT IT IS NICE FACILITY IT JUST LOOKS OUTDATED OF THE APPERANCE.

Aquajog spa and shower refreshing way to start day. Changing rooms need air conditioning to remain fresh while dressing and grooming the air is do close. Breakfast at cafe is reasonable and affordable. Pensioners pay more in Auckland pools than other cities.

reasonable parking and excellent service with staff, plenty ofve activities and they have a full gymnasium, spa, sauna and all types of fitness classes and an area out back of the complex for family to congregate and have a lunch, so enjoy time with yourself or family

I practicly Live at the West wave aquatic center and have been coming to this Aquatic Facilitie since it's opening in 1990 to Current date. I have seen a lot of people come and go from it over the years met with countless people of all walks of Life and yet there is never a Dull moment or day that goes by.

Our first visit ever after convincing ourselves that the reported code browns this place is known for don't happen regularly enough for us to fuss over, and guess what 15 mins into our swim... CODE BROWN! And apparently this happened yesterday as well!

I realise it's not the pools direct fault but the place was generally filthy as well so there is definitely room for major improvement on their part. I think we're going to stick to our usual clean central Auckland pool options for now...

Was a good visit. A shame that the wave pool had to close due to someone pooping in the pool. It would be great if Staff could be better organised when this happens so that older kids are not bombarding the under 4 area. Understandable if they have younger ones with them but when it's just them older kids its not cool having them jumping in and around from the sides etc. A little scarey for the little ones and the reason why our family ended up leaving today.

Love the yoga classes here!! been hooked ever since I started out a year ago. The pool is great but can get busy, began learn to swim classes and had a blast learning with the friendly instructors. Made soo many friends. This place is truly amazing, super friendly staff and happy gym-goers too. Ive had a massive and positive transformation since working out here.

Who ever manages this place needs a kick up the backside..
Queues out the door because not enough lifeguards on ...closed way more than any other pools we visit by far....and what's the most frustrating is they never answer there phone so you cant plan anything...

Well it's hard to compare when this is the ONLY public pool in West Auckland (as of writing). As such, it is relatively old and showing its age. Sure there have been upgrades here and there but the facilities are mediocre at best. The family changing rooms can be rather dirty so cleaning needs to be executed more often. It is SUPER busy during school holidays but this is to be expected when it's the only pool around for miles.

Don't even bother eating anything in the cafe though as it is terrible in every way. Service is poor and bordering on nonchalance, and the food is awful. This is even after a so called change in management. The fries and wedges taste like days old and cold, and the sushi is just slightly better. Better to save your money though.
