Discriminatory small business with horrible customer service from the owner - Aviva Tavel - to the employees. The culture of rudeness, discrimination, and harassment by this small local business is ghastly, at best.

After completing two (paid in full) purchases, one at each location - Carmel and Indianapolis (downtown), I began receiving disturbing emails for outstanding invoices. These disturbing emails were sent approx. every 2-3 months by Mary Beth Swinney. Despite my continued communications, verbally and via email, regarding the inaccuracy of the invoices the company has persistently contacted me. Beyond the fact that I had paid for my order at time of purchase and submitted these invoices to this company, I continued to receive invoices for other purchases which I did not make.

Today one of the employees - Taylor - commented that I sounded urban and my name was associated with the Urban League. The owner - Aviva Tavel - refused to speak with me and hung up in my face. No one called me back to address these inaccurate invoices.

I implore you to NOT patronize this business, they are unethical.

Have used over the years and have had good service and bad. Just depends on when you go in to have stuff done. But they do carry a large selection of products

You can buy hospital and hotel uniforms here.. Plenty to choose from.

Very helpful staff, helped myself and my whole fire department get uniforms for a funeral very quickly.

It is a very relaxed environment it's a family business they can do darn near anything I can't say enough about the staff

HORRIBLE service, I try to support local brick and mortar stores but as far as this store goes I will go online and use their competition.

Hi! This place is wonderful! The employees are very friendly. If there is an item you're looking for and they don't have it, they will give you a lot of great options. Plus there is a guy there that has great jokes!!!

Brought a pair of nursing shoes to wear at work and they are comfortable and were half price. I didnt have any help.on the floor but I was able to get out quickly.

The staff is friendly enough, but since the see so much business, you will sometimes have a long wait.

Came here because my work has a contract through them. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER COME BACK. My work was not very clear how about doing the payroll deduction, so I asked the older black lady how that worked. She was VERY RUDE said I got mad at her, when I did not I just asked 1 simple question. She made assumptions that I needed to be more specific when asking my job about this instead of asking her. She was not polite and took 20 mins to ring out 5 items! I will never come back here again. When I ask questions and need more information I don't get attitude at SCRUBS AND BEYOND. This place is run down, small cramped, and not orginized and any way beside size. It's like shopping at goodwill for scrubs. No thanks.

Average selection of uniforms. Pretty "Indianapolis-centric" A bit pricey.

I placed a order on Nov 12 and still haven't received it..left three messages online and no response..called and cant never get ahold of someone to talk to..always that person is out or busy..really tired of the run around on my 420 order..paid for it but no one can find the order but they have the payment

tried the uniforms on before hand..fit..got them home after they were ordered 3 weeks later everything is to big..because they were washed they won't take them back..im out $300.00 for uniforms ill end up donating to goodwill..DO NOT DO business with these people!!!! save your $$

They have a really big supply and variety of scrubs and other professional gear. It seems like they're always busy. The scrubs will be more expensive than your scrubs from say Walmart. But they're worth it. The racks are PACKED with clothes. They also sell shoes.

Very large selection of all sorts of colors and styles. Very friendly staff worked with me to find uniforms that fit and were comfortable, which is not an easy task! Quick turnaround time for the embroidery that I needed. Staff really went above and beyond for me.

I don't mind the prices, but they rarely have more than 1 or 2 pcs in my size..

Drove from Lafayette to Indianapolis to get new uniforms. Staff was very polite and helpful. Everything I needed was in stock and at a fair price. Will buy my future uniforms and LE gear there. Thank you.

I placed an order on 7/28/19 and was told by Adam Painfil the Illinois rep. That it would be 8 to 10 business days until I received my order shipping status. I called back on 8/11/19 to enquire and was told he's not in the office, he would call me back with an update. I never received a call. I called in the following day was was told he should not have said 8 to 10 business days that he should have said 10 to 15 and that 3 items were not in yet so I'd have to call back in on 8/19/19. I called Adam again and he said he would go down to the wearhouse from UPSTAIRS and he would call me back in 15 minutes with an update on my $540.00 order. He did not return the phone call. He has not helped me one bit in finding out why my order is so far behind from being fulfilled and shipped. Apparently the parks is going to take all the way till oct 2nd to even get there. The company is going to send me all other items in a partial shipment then ship the parka when it arrives in October.. this is unacceptable and I definitely will not order through this company again. I'd advise everyone else to call and make sure they have the items you want and that they can be shipped in a timely manner.

They're the on the pricier side of all the uniform stores. The staff are usually helpful even on their busiest days.

Pretty slow service and pretty astronomical prices. They service all of the governmental and police agencies in the Metropolitan area and it shows. Three to four weeks from order to delivery, if you're lucky.

The clerks were very kind and helpful; however, that doesn't give enough of a boost for over a two star review based on the "government" pricing structure.

Was in here to make a purchase of scrubs for a new job. I went round several times in the store, and it wasn't until after 45 minutes or there about before any of the store assistants NOTICED me...they were standing at the desk the whole time chatting away....so absurd and disgusting.
It was so difficult to find matching scrubs that would fit my medium size

So many different scrubs to choose from, very kind staff as well.

Today during my visit I received attentive assistance with my purchase. What this location may lack in variety (they have several options but not necessarily all of the mainstream ones), they make up for it in customer experience. I will certainly return when the need arises.

I hate to give bad reviews but they've messed my order up every time I've come in. I hate having to stop by multiple times because it always seems to take an hour to check out.

I've stopped in many times over the years....and will keep stopping there in the future. The staff has always been very pleasant and they always have everything I need so I can do my job.

Good law enforcement gear. Went to get measured for a vest. Bought a new badge wallet.

Really good store for lots of different uniforms. Friendly staff. Store was nicer and bigger than it looks from the outside. I got a nice short waiters apron for less than $8.00.

I hadn't been in a few years but I was so happy to see the same great costumer service! Everything is now separated by color and professional. Price ranges for every budget and the people are more than helpful! You can get your uniforms altered here as well! Wonderful!

Absolutely delightful! My salesman was great!!! I even spoke with a customers that was an EMS while I was waiting to get fitted for a uniform shirt, he was so awesome too

I've been going here for years only because it's the only place that can do my employer logo. They are slow and not very nice. Higher prices

One of the best uniform shops in the city of Indianapolis! Great selection great prices. The staff is very knowledgeable and if they don't have what you want in stock they will get it for you no questions asked! I do all my major purchases here and I will continue to do so. I suggest this location to anybody in police, security, fire, EMS and even nurses should shop here!

No whites in store things have to be ordered online because of backlogs but still a great store for all your uniform needs....also a great place to buy face masks and accessories. The clerks are always very kind and helpful you won't be dissatisfied at this location

Customer service is bad they are very rude and unpleasant

Great service and quality product. I get all my embroidery done here and I have never been anything but happy with their work. If you pay a little extra you can get what you need quick. I would definitely recommend for all your uniform and embroidery needs!

I've always had great service here. They are very customer oriented. If you are in public service or medical field this place has everything! If they don't have it they will order it for you.

Very poor customer service. They do thousands of dollars worth of business with my department but are not capable of remembering specs or having items in stock.

I waited 30mins for this store to open, from 8.00am to 8.30am. When l entered l kid you not, noone greeted me or approached me asking me if l needed help for every bit of the 30mins l was in there. Very disgusted by the poor service. There is no way l will buy a $140 pair of klogs in a store where noone even acknowledges your presence. As l headed out the store, thats when l heard, "Would you like to try another pair of shoes" really!!! As l headed out. What a waste of time this was. Please don't bother yourself with this store. My time is very precious and l will not be wasting it again in this store l promise you. I can only experience such horrible service once and only at this store. I agree with the other reviews, go to SCRUBS AND BEYOND, where they value your business even after they have been operational for so many years. They don't take their customers for granted. If your store looks so run down like The Uniform House then you have to compliment yourself with great service. I should have just gone to SCRUBS AND BEYOND like l usually do.

They should carry woman postal clothes not just men.....
