We sent flowers to our mother for Mother s Day, she loved them! She said they were absolutely beautiful!

We received the most beautiful Angel wings with a gorgeous arrangement of flowers for my mother s funeral. We will Treasure the angel wings forever. I thanked the sender to let her know how beautiful it was and how much it meant to all of my family. So i want thank you also Flower Mill.

I had to call them the second they opened to see if they could deliver something for me within a 2 hour period and they stopped the delivery driver from leaving so they could get it done for me. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!

We just used The Flower Mill for our wedding and I've got to say all the arrangements turned out beautifully <3 Stacy is so helpful and willing to work with you to figure out exactly what you're looking for. I knew nothing about flowers and what was in season for our wedding or what would look good together when I walked in the door. I also have a tough schedule working out of town but Stacy was willing to work with me in the store and put flowers together for me while I sat there to make sure my vision came to life. They were beautiful and everything I wanted. Thank you for everything!!

They delivered earlier then I expected which was a pleasant surprise. The flower arrangement was beautifully done. Their a great local flower shop and I will never buy flowers from anyone else in Sioux Falls again. The where fresh and look amazing!

I wanted to send flowers to my dear friend in SF (I live in Florida) and thought their name The Flower Mill was cool-and I wanted to use local-so I read their reviews: all positive. I called them on a Friday (mid day) and my friend had her gorgeous fresh and artistically arranged flowers by that afternoon!! I was so pleased. The person who took my phone order was so sweet, yet professional. I will definitely use the Flower Mill again!!!

I ordered flowers from these guys on a Saturday and scheduled them to be delivered on a monday. That monday i called to check on my order and the staff was very friendly and polite. My girlfriend loved the arrangement. Definitely plan to use these guys regularly.

As a photographer, I am always so excited to see The Flower Mill on a wedding vendor list because I know I will have beautiful, real florals to capture. The shop is packed with a huge selection of plants, flowers, lovely arrangements, such an amazing variety of beauty The staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I had an idea what I thought I wanted and they came up with a lot of suggestions. Experts with a down home South Dakota friendly attitude!

My girlfriend went to Sioux Falls on a business trip and had a really bad time with the flight/hotel/etc. I decided to send her flowers and used 1-800-FLOWERS but *I* screwed up the address, TWICE. First I had the wrong motel and the second time I gave the wrong address.

1-800-FLOWERS fixed the address for me twice but as it turns out there was a 3rd motel in town that didn't show up when I searched. The poor delivery person from the Flower Mill tried to find the right place but never did.

By this time it was late in the day and I was getting a little nervous. Sue from The Flower Mill told me that if I could find the right place, she'd get the flowers there. After a couple of frantic calls & finally giving up the surprise and calling my girlfriend, I found the right motel and got the address. I called Sue back and she sent the flowers out right away.

I couldn't ask for anyone more helpful or sincere. The whole transaction was wonderful and if I ever have occasion to visit Sioux Falls, or need to send flowers to anyone there, I'll definitely call The Flower Mill!

I ordered flowers ($178) for my wife for her birthday 4 days before her birthday ( I'm proud of doing it this year because most years I either forget it's her birthday or I forget to get the flowers ) were supposed to go out of town that same day later on and I called the flower mill to see where the flowers were at 11 and they said they're in route. Ok fine. 2 hours later no flowers, so I call them again because I'm getting shamed by my and her family again that I didn't get here flowers, and this is 2 hours away from going out of town. The lady on the phone said oh, they re still sitting here because were waiting on few more flowers. Unbelievable! I guess I don't have luck with flowers or something. When you spend that much on flowers I'd expect them to be delivered first thing in the morning. Why bother buying them again...

Stacy worked with all of my requests and sat with us picking out flowers for as long as we needed her. Everything turned out great and I had no problems changing my order several times.

The ladies at The Flower Mill saved the day! My husband and I were headed to a Kentucky Derby charity event for Big Brothers Big Sisters. I had the dress, I had a very plain white hat so we thought we d stop in and see if they could put a flower in my hat to spice it up! Sue and Monet took my hat and were grabbing pretty flowers like little bumble bees and all of a sudden...ALAKAZAM! A masterpiece Kentucky Derby hat was created in 10 magical minutes! So very grateful to all the staff and especially Sue and Monet for making me feel like a million bucks that night! Highly recommended to make beautiful flower arrangements and excellent customer service!

I sent an arrangement today to a friend who is not well, hoping it would cheer her up. It was outstanding. My friend was thrilled and surprised. The picture she sent is stunning. I would definitely use The Flower Mill again!

Heard this place was supposed to be awesome so I went in looking for flowers for my wife's birthday. There were a handful of people working when I came in to look around. I was in there a few minutes looking at the flowers, some looked ok and some not but like I said I heard good things and wanted to give it a shot even though their prices were a little high. Pretty soon another woman customer entered and immediately was greeted and asked if she needed help. I was still waiting for my greeting nor did anyone offer to help me. Was it because no one saw me? Impossible since the door was right by a giant workstation. Maybe it was because I was a guy in a flower shop? OR..maybe they just didn't care? I'm not really sure but either way it was a very dissatisfying experience for sure and I'm positive that I won't be going back there maybe ever and I will make sure to tell anyone who asks or brings them up that the customer service there is absolutely awful unless you are a woman, then its probably fine if you don't mind shelling out the money.
Immediately after, I went to Hyvee, was greeted before I even got into the flower department and some very nice lady helped me with my decision and purchase plus the flowers looked better and were a fraction of the cost.

The Flower Mill is always delivers a 5 star arrangement. The flowers are fresh, beautifully arranged and delivered as advertised. They are my go to business for flowers and plants.

Lena helped me this evening, the day after Mother's Day, after everything had been picked over, and helped me find a great arrangement for my girlfriend. She replaced a couple of roses which needed some life and upgraded my vase to match the arrangement. The gift worked perfectly as planned!

Called this lovely shop to deliver flowers to my mom for her birthday and WOW! I talked to a lady named Sue and she was so helpful and friendly. She even texted me photos so I could choose which arrangement I liked best. She went above and beyond to help me select something beautiful in my price range. I m all the way in NC and will definitely be using this floral shop from now on whenever I want to send flowers to my relatives in Sioux Falls. I highly recommend Flower Mill. Give them a call!

I've ordered flowers many times from the Flower Mill and they've always been beautiful and reasonably priced. Recently they made an arrangement for the birthday of my stillborn daughter that was so beautiful I felt compelled to write this review. Not only was the arrangement full of color and scent but they also added dragonflies. I don't know if someone knew that the dragonfly is a symbol for stillborn and miscarried children but it was perfect. The care and thoughtfulness that went into its making was truly awesome.

Livening in Tennessee, I ordered flowers for my aunt in the hospital in Sioux Falls. They are beautiful. She couldn t say enough about how lovely and fresh the flowers are! She even sent me a picture of the message I sent printed out in lovely script! Thank you to The Flower Mill!

The flowers were beautiful right when I got them but my vase was chipped and within 24 hours all the little roses were brown and a winked up and the big roses were starting to brown also /:

I purchased flowers for my mother's birthday from the Flower Mill via 1800Flowers, and had the absolute worst experience. Even 1800Flowers couldn't believe it.

The flowers were supposed to be delivered on Friday, which were no where near what I had ordered. My mom was happy with them, so I just messaged 1800Flowers to let them know that the local vendor did not executeto the website, just so they could know for future purchases.

1800Flowers had great service and said they would arrange for a re-delivery, which I didn't expect. Was happy they'd give me what I paid for ($100 bouquet).

Next, the Flower Mill goes to my mom's house and revokes the original bouquet. Which apparently is against policy for a re-delivery.

I called back to 1800Flowers and they assure me this is unprecedented behavior, and my mom would get a new arrangement that day (her birthday) or the next day.

The next day came and went, no flowers. They (1800Flowers and Flower Mill) had lied to me, and said the flowers would be sent the next Monday, 3 days after her actual birthday and the intended delivery date.

What even makes me more mad is my family has been excellent customers of the Flower Mill in the past. My sister did her wedding florals from them. But I can t believe they would actually confiscate birthday flowers from a recipient when called out on their mistake!

My mom now has no flowers, on her birthday or the day after. Part of being a florist is being mindful of the special day you are serving for you clients. I am appalled at the service I received from a Sioux Falls vendor.

I had the great pleasure of working with the folks at Blum and Gros to send some flowers on two occasions recently they help me not only were they kind and courteous and their pricing as well worth the quality the flowers but they were able to work with me and customize and deliver flowers to make someone much happier than they were before they got the flowers if you ever need flowers delivered or if you just need to talk some nice people I highly recommend the folks at Bloom in grub

I called the day before Mother s Day and they couldn t have been nicer and the flowers were beautiful. My mom loved them. Great job.

The girl who took my order were very friendly and made some recommendations bc there's no same type of roses like the one on the picture online.

I'm a little disappointed with my experience. I spent months researching florists for our wedding. I found some photos on my photographers website (Jeffrey Sampson Photography, who's AMAZING by the way), and was quite impressed. Flower Mill seemed to have skill and quality, and I'm very particular.

I contacted them by phone and by email. I waited about 5 days and after not hearing back, decided to call again. I spoke with one of the workers and let her know I was unable to make it in for a consultation because I lived hours away. I had emailed photos and knew what I wanted. I was told I'd get a call back. After about a week, I called, AGAIN. I would have tried another florist, but they had the best reviews. After finally speaking with the florist, I had described to her what I wanted. Something romantic with burgundy, and wanted it to be fitting for the season, Fall.

We discussed budget and I was quoted $200 for my bouquet, and we ordered a few other items. She stated that I had expensive taste, I know. When we picked up my bouquet, I was in shock. It looked like they had thrown this mess together. Greenery and cheap flowers mixed with a few roses. The expensive flowers she had said I was requesting weren't even visible. I quickly paid for the bouquets and the moment I got into the car, I had a mini breakdown. My groom LAUGHED because they were so awful. Luckily, my sister did a little damage control.

They did create a new bouquet. Something simple with roses and a few pops of burgundy and yellow. It was okay, I was extremely disappointed. For a bouquet that I was quoted $200 for, it was just about the same size as my sisters. I didn't feel like a bride. I didn't even want photos with my flowers. When speaking with my sister, they showed photos I had sent. They tried to justify why they designed my flowers the way they did, and said in their notes that I had described exactly what they produced. While I can admit my photos were very bohemian in style, I trusted professionals to design something beautiful.

I appreciate their customer service and willingness to correct this mess, but if I could change anything from my wedding day, I would have gone with another florist. I should have known the moment I didn't receive a call back, and when they lost my note for the florist, that should have been a warning sign. My own fault.

Best advice- DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Mary at the Flower Mill was very helpful and efficient for the sympathy arrangement I ordered. The plants and blooms are beautiful, even a few weeks later. I gave 4 stars because the container was very different than what I ordered. (Ordered a white and blue vase that was dainty and feminine for a female's funeral. The container is
a dark brown bronze look. Very masculine.) However, even with that issue, I recommend using their shop.

My sister passed away unexpectedly which was hard to deal with overall. Add in the stress and sadness of planning her funeral ... To say the least it was very difficult. My mother and I went to the Flower Mill and received a horrible customer service. She was impatient, interrupted us talking multiple times, interjected what she liked instead of what we were asking for, walked away in the middle of assisting us to work on another arrangement. Absolute horrible service in our time of need.

We decided to go with Flowerama on 41st and Marion. They were fantastic! We were greeted with kindness and patience! They had a wonderful selection and great prices! It was such a relief to get everything we needed! The customer service was like getting a hug from a loving friend! Their compassion and professionalism was outstanding!! I highly recommend going to Flowerama for any flower needs you may have.

My husband ordered flowers for me from them. He said when he went in everyone was very helpful. The person who helped him was very Inquisitive and arranged the flowers on the spot. Actually I was shocked when I received them. Didn t think he had it in him to choose such a unique arrangement. Love it.

I called today to order flowers at the very last moment. They needed to be delivered within an hour and 1/2. The Flower Mill made it happen AND the flowers looked great!

It might be not the best time for small businesses to survive, and I could accept certain disrespect if the Flower Mill would have put a notice in the flowers with a reminder of current toughness and apology for the fading flowers. A friend of mine from Boston arranged the delivery, and I can not even sent her a picture of the gift... They say that there is flower language, and one can tell a lot by just putting different flowers together. I got a message from the Flower Mill with drooping petals of aging plants. Perhaps, it is witty)))

The flower arrangement order looked nothing like the order placed on 1800Flowers. It barely had any flowers & looked cheaply made. I was disappointed. Called 1800Flowers to have this rectified & was told it would be replaced the next day. 2 days later, still not received. Called the Flower Mill & 1800Flowers several times. The final resolution was that Flower Mill would make a new arrangement if they could pick up the old one that was a mess.
Horrible business practice. They refused to right their wrong because they weren't being paid from 1800Flowers for the correct flower arrangement. Wow!

This company is out OUTSTANDING!!! I needed to order some flowers for a friend that was in the hospital. First off the company offered me same-day delivery. Secondly my friend was in the critical care unit, which I was unaware of at the time I place the order. The florist called me and told me that the flowers could not be delivered because of the ward that my friend was in. Rather she told me that they would continue to call daily until they were notified that she was moved to a regular room and they would then deliver the bouquet that day!!! I did not ask this of the florist...she offered this and I was completely amazed and grateful! Thank you so much.

Beautiful, highly tasteful arrangements in a high quality vase. the flowers were delivered with a special message of my choice. they were delivered on-time (the next day) to my hotel room, and arrived in perfect condition. The owner of the store had clearly hand arranged them, and great thought had gone into the choice of flowers used, their heights, the style etc. The prices were very reasonable and comparable to elsewhere. They also accept international orders with no fuss. I was very impressed and would not hesitate to use again. Highly recommended.

Flower mill has great service the first bouquet I had there was a some minor issues and I contacted them the next day and they were very polite and willing to replace The entire bouquet and deliver it again. I would recommend them because they have great service.

Ordered flowers online to be delivered the next day and everything went well. Lovely flowers, quick and smooth delivery, will use again. Highly recommended.
