The grilled chicken smells amazing when you walk in. I pick up chicken here once a week. If you order on Tuesday or Thursday, for every whole chicken meal you purchase they will give you a half chicken.

I travel from far south east side, for this food, which is excellent, cash only, but worth it. Tuesdays & Thursdays are special dinner, buy whole chicken, get half with it about $23.

This place has great grilled chicken. Every chance I get I tell someone to go there I feel like I have ownership in the company LOL. Not one person has told me they didn t like the chicken in fact they thank me for telling them about this place. The chicken is well seasoned and moist. I always order the combo when I get food the beans & rice are good as well & make sure you get an extra grilled pepper . I saved the best for last on Tues./Thurs if you order a combo you get 1/2 chicken free. Now tell me they don t deserve 5 stars. Pollo Express keep serving good food. CASH ONLY

As some whom considers themselves a bit of a "polo adobado connoisseur" I have to say this place has the best Mexican charcoal grilled-style seasoned chicken in the chicago area. The food is phenomenal and would recommend always getting the chicken seasoned. Fast service too. If you dine in you usually get your food in 10-15 min.

They have bathrooms available to the public and a small dining area. Only reason it didn't get the 5 stars is they are cash only.

This place is great. I m usually picky about rice in other restaurants. This rice is very flavorful. One of the best out there. The staff is always polite and friendly.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would of! Because yesterday evening I pick up my food and what a surprise when I got home!!! I got the adobe chicken when I had order regular chicken. But things got even worst, I called and ask to speak to the manager. While speaking to the manager I asked for her name more than 3 times and wouldn t tell me her name, on top she was very rude and unwilling to help! Hopefully the owner of this place can take a look into who is I charge of their business, because for sure pollo express has lost a customer. Well actually more than one customer evacuee I m making sure my family doesn t go there anymore! Not again am I dealing with hostile, unprofessional and rude people!

Good food, fast service. Be sure you bring cash as they are a cash only place. I would've given them more stars but our server wasn't very friendly. I had myself the chicken bowl which comes packed with lettuce, beans, rice, chicken, avacado, onion, jalapeno, sour cream, cheese, cilantro and tomato it was very filling. My coworker ordered the half chicken comes with rice and beans.

This place is great. Chicken fresh and juicy. Mexican rice tasty. Frijoles. Charros delicious. Fresh guacamole a treat. Tortilla fresh from local factory. All around great value for family. Caution phone order in 1 hour in advance.

Love the chicken from Pollo Express, plus the sides, definitely one of the better places for char-broiled chicken. Place is very clean and you can't beat the price. I think they still have their mid-week specials, great for a family or party.

The staff is very friendly, Pilsen is so diverse, I've seen every nationality there, many police come in for the fast service and great chicken.
