Great selection, top quality food, and i always leave satisfied. Wee bit on the very pricey side is the only concern. My servers have always been very friendly and attentive. I recommend and warn ! Great food but the bill will sting if you're on a budget.

Most affordable but still delicious on special sushi roll sushi restaurant in Vancouver.

Only small con is the distance a bit far away from mine, but there s a 10% discount on takeout.

Very good service but not good servers. They rush you to leave so they can sit other customers. We still chewing our food the server ask to take our plate and asked my son if he wants his food to go even though she see he is eating.
Very bad that the reason I am giving to stars.

First off it s not the best sushi, compared to places like Takeya, but it is cheaper! If u do take out u get 10% off!

Peak times it can get a little crazy in there so we always just order take out. We call ahead about 15-20min before and it s always ready for us on time no matter how crazy it is in there!

So fast! Great tasting food and generous portions. Our kids loved it.

I ve been a regular since I moved to richmond last year. I m so grateful I found this place bc it the best for take out when you don t want to cook! It s not the most authentic Japanese restaurant because the menu is sort of westernized but the Sashimi is always fresh, portions are huge, menu is diverse and it is cheap! Also the service is efficient and the restaurant is clean!

Best sushi ever, fresh and very tasty it s being operated by Korean staff who are so nice.

The service, food quality, presentation are always consistently good. And never fail to impress and deliver the value to their customers. Some sushi rolls are a bit too saucy for me but for the most part everything is good. I would definitely continue to come back.

Wow! What an absolutely incredible dining experience! The waitress provided such a fast and efficient service our whole table was wowed. From the moment we walked in, greeted by a smile and promptly seated. Menus and orders taken quickly and the food was excellent. My girlfriend was complaining about sushi two nights in a row but we assured her that she wouldn t be disappointed here. She was smiling after each dish came out. We all enjoyed all the dishes we ordered and were very impressed at the speed and quality of the chefs here. Definitely highly recommend the food here! Our drinks never went empty and the plates disappeared as soon as they were empty. Bills brought and paid without looking or asking. Genuinely impressed with the food and service here. Very efficient and excellent value on top of it. Been coming here for years and never had an issue. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience at a refreshing price.

Very very good sushi. Good service, speed of orders from the time of placing to readiness is very fast.

The lunch specials are amazing. Lost 1 star because they re not quite as generous with the portions of sashimi compared to similar restaurants, but aside from that, can t complain.

Food was good! Similar to sushi California so it'll be my replacement if I want sushi in Richmond.

My only complaint was that service was sub par as it's hard to flag down a server to help. Also, I made a reservation for 5:30 one night and as I was driving over they call me right at 5:30 and ask "are you still coming". I say yes I'll be there in 5 minutes (I had taken a wrong turn and was a little lost) and they replied "ok next time call to let us know if you're late". I understand that they're busy but I felt that the waitress wasn't very understanding.

Other than that, I highly recommend trying their reasonably priced sushi

Delicious food, great for take-out. Have only ate inside once which was a great experience but have enjoyed Gami sushi very often for take-out. It is always fresh, rolls stay together well and they offer an additional 10% off if you take-out. Great food for an affordable price!

I personally find it hard to have good sushi in Richmond, either I'm not searching hard enough or it just doesn't exist. A friend recommended this place, and I must say they are really good and fresh. I have learned to only order take-out as the restaurant gets extremely busy (the reason is probably because they are one of the few Japanese restaurants that serve good nigiri)

My husband and I order pick ups from Gami sushi on a regular basis. Ika karage is one of our favorite appetizers. The portion used be great before but somehow, it became smaller and smaller every time we ordered. Also, they forget to pack small things like extra gingers we asked and dipping sauce for assorted tempura we ordered last time. We called the restaurant to let them know so they don't forget next time since we are regulars and we didn't want to be disappointed. But it happened again tonight... no gingers at all! I used to love this place. disappointing!

Great yakisoba with good amounts of seafood and good quality. Very friendly staff and quick service. Not as cheap as other sushi places though.

This sushi is one my favourite ones. They have large variety of specialty rolls, servers are very nice and food is always fresh.

This restaurant has experienced a large growth in popularity since I started coming here. If you come here during prime eating hours, expect a wait. The food served is sushi made by korean people, so expect more colourful rolls. I think you get 10% off with takeout orders.

Very bland food, very inattentive staff. There was still food on our plates yet the staff kept coming over to try and take it away, very rude and pushy. However once we had the bill they took forever to bring the machine over. While waiting, a spider crawled onto our table so we brought our bill up to the front to pay upon which the waitress told us to return to the bug table? Very overpriced, not worth it at all. Would give zero stars if possible.

Have eaten here many times. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good sushi dining experience. Yes they are busy, but the food makes up for it. Remember, if you don't have to wait for your food then there is nothing worth waiting for.

Usually there is a wait at Gami Sushi but it doesnt take too long to get a table and their take out option is good too! For take out, it took around 10-15 mins on average. My family typically gets take out and the food is always still hot when we get home so that has worked out very well for us.

Sushi is good but the service is awful. The server didn't even greet us, she just asked what we wanted. We got our bill while we were still eating. I've been coming here for months and I decided last night that they just don't deserve my business anymore. They are too much of a fast food restaurant and you can't enjoy your meal as they are rushing you out. No second beer or dessert for us! I won't be back.

I order dry savory noodle dish at this Japanese noodles shop. It is the only Japanese noodles shop that I know, serve this type of noodle.

Sushi is very good here, with a modern twist on a lot of the classics. be prepared for a wait during the week at lunch.

Rude service. Rushing you to finish your dishes and pushing you to get the bill. You cannot enjoy your meals. The moment you finished your last piece of food, someone came right away to take away empty dishes and asked if you need something else. If no more food needed, they asked if we need the bill or not. Just keep pushing you and not let you sit there for a min longer.

Nice and clean! Service is quick and they're not your usual Asian restaurant that serve food per finished item. They brought our food all at once so we didn't have that awkward moment of 'politely' waiting for everyone's food to come before eating lol.

A very popular sushi place that is always packed. They have a lot of selections and they are always fresh and delicious. I love coming here with my family. The place have quite a few seatings, but there's usually a wait. It is a comfy place. I come here often. Really love their sashimi.

Plates were warm and the service was slow, the sushi wasn't terrible.

$77 for the above plus a chicken yakisoba not pictured (not worthy of a photo). Quality is okay, the sushimi platter was $27. The 3 PCs were $11 total. Pressed sushi ($20) were on the thick side with too much sauce and rice with a think layer of fish.

Overall, a good place for cheap eats, but quality is related to price.

I love Gami sushi!! I think they are my number 1 place to go for sushi in Richmond and I have tried a lot of sushi places. If it is not busy you are seated right away. I always ask for tea because they give really good rice tea. My boyfriend and I always order the salmon sashimi because it is so fresh and worth the price. I recommend ordering at least 1 of their special rolls. They food comes within 5-10 mins and the presentation is always on point. I always find myself going here when I'm craving sushi.

Always a good place to get sushi! The food is fresh and the combos are plentiful for a good price. I always get the Assorted Sushi Combo and it's always a delicious pick. The smoked salmon and cream cheese roll is a pretty good as well
