Was greeted by the friendly receptionist who stated that the hotel was almost fully booked due to the concert in town. We (2 adults and a 17 year old) got 2 rooms 1400 kr and 1000 kr per night. Great stay, but in the middle of the night until 4 o'clock there was a lot of noise in the corridors (poorly soundproof doors) Notified the night watchman around 4am and after that it became quiet. There was very little sleep on us all. After a good breakfast we checked out of the rooms. We then got a discount for noise and only paid for the cheapest room. Nice redress for the noise, and we gladly choose the hotel again.
Nice hotel in the center of Oppdal. We had a family room which was quite large and it had a fridge. Parking is free. Staff was friendly and helpful.
There were two play rooms for the kids.
Breakfast seemed uninspired and did not meet our expectations. I expect hot fried eggs, fresh pancakes or waffles, fresh orange juice and good coffee. The food was not marked with allergen content.
on the far North road, there are fewer places to live, so to eat nothing better than a hotel Buffet service, always very complete. Pleasant and efficient staff.
Very convenient location, good parking, clean hotel, decent food. The front desk was friendly, the breakfast is good. Evening coffee is not so good, it taste like leftover from the morning that you are charged for. Overall a decent stay anyway.
Good hotel, good restaurant and good breakfast. Quality, diversity in the program. We had the surprise of a reindeer dish in sauce and moose sausage, both excellent.
Rooms are clean and neat. With dinner an extensive buffet with fish and meat. Excellent quality! In the morning an extensive breakfast buffet, delicious bread and everything you could wish for.
A nice architecturally designed hotel in Oppdal. Skidepot in the basement. Very nice and friendly staff and good food. Could be renovated some, especially the floors with carpentryfloors
Views of the slopes on both sides. Centrally located in the center of cozy Oppdal. Restaurants and shops right by the hotel. The train station takes about five minutes to walk.
Great hotel with nice but not so large rooms. The only thing to draw in the room was a little bad light in the bathroom. Lovely Christmas buffet and very good breakfast
Like all Stordalen hotels, this hotel also has a nice refurbished lobby, while the rooms suffer. The bathrooms in particular are screaming for renovation. When the hotels have been closed for a long time gave covid I expect them to be properly cleaned when they open. It was not. Ingrown manure in the bathroom and extremely yellowed and dirty silicone edge around the bathtub. The tourism industry had the opportunity here, to take a boost before the whole of Norway was to holiday in Norway, but they have not done so, at least not here.
We celebrated New Year's Eve at Skifer Hotel at Oppdal. That was amazing. Good atmosphere, pleasant staff and great New Year's dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves and got really relaxed.
At the end of June 2019, Oppdal became our last resort during our short break. Quality Hotel Skifer was chosen, as this was new to us who had not visited Oppdal for many years. The reception at the reception was impeccable and she was informed about one guest's food allergies. During dinner and breakfast it was just to alert the waiter or those who put out the breakfast about the food allergies, so it would be taken into account that she said. In theory, this was probably the case. The hotel room, situated on the main road through Oppdal, did not offer any noise problems, well insulated 3-layer glass. Good beds. Neat and clean. Own coffee machine with coffee capsules. Unfortunately no one with decaf coffee.
Overall a disappointing experience. Sad hotel, sad, tasteless low budget food from breakfast, lunch to dinner. Nonsense with non-working key cards, elevator standing, etc.
When it comes online that the restaurant closes 10 and no info about when the kitchen closes, it is assumed that the kitchen closes 10. To then be told that the kitchen closes 9 is just bad.
Nice hotel but very small room for us who were two adults and one young person. The breakfast didn't boast, any old and cold food that stood out. Lots of noise from other rooms, some of which fill in with some guests. That night we were supposed to eat in the hotel restaurant so they only served buffet to 465, - Not a hotel I would recommend to others.

Cozy hotel in the center of Oppdal which is just off the railway without any kind of shyness. The hotel is under renovation so it will be exciting to see the result. Good breakfast we also got.
