Skifer Hotel Review

Poor lunch buffet, that was not refilled so most of it was empty for food. Small selection too.

Very nice staff. There was some trouble with our booking. But they handled it well. A little sparse on the dinner menu though.

Wooden floors in the room (and not muddy carpet), dimmer in the bathroom. Good bed, good breakfast.

Like the hotel's location in the middle of Oppdal with good food to good beds have been here several times.

Great hotel at Oppdal. Good service. Great food and good beds. Centrally located. Even in the middle of summer good opportunities for overnight stay at short notice.

Nice and clean room, the shower an experience for itself: alternating between hot and cold, not the experience one had expected. Dinner: took over half an hour before it came to the table. Hamburger, with wilted and partially brown spots on the salad. Ordered without cheese, came with cheese and without bacon .... lukewarm hamburger ...

Overall good standard of hotel. Nice rooms and good breakfast. Missing minibar and bar at reception should be in a separate place

The hotel is ok. The rooms really do miss a fridge and some place to hang up your coat!!!? The food is relatively standard and just like all the buffets and meals in any other hotel in Norway. The 'Skifer' touch to the design is nice.

Good service! Bad breakfast buffet, but very good bread. Lots of biscuits, but where was the cheese? Missed very cheese dish and local food from Oppdal. Simply room, stripped to the most essential. Shower curtains in the bathroom are not hygienic. And lacked the bed sheet on the mattress, it didn't look good when the mattress was dirty around. Lots of good seating in the reception, the cozy atmosphere.

Was there on Christmas pictures with the family. Great food and great place. We were 45 people together and everyone was very happy

Nice hotel, but the rooms lack a fridge and kettle for coffee and tea

Great staff, and food. Pleasant environment and nice common areas. Two-piece double bed, and it slid apart, otherwise very happy.

We went here for dinner only. The food was good, but the service was slow and unattentive - even though the place was half full.
