This place is fine if it s your only option. I have gone a couple of times for mental health and 100% would recommend going somewhere else for that. I have had bad experiences with the psychiatric nurse disregarding my side effects to medications (saying multiple times they were not side effects even though they started after taking the medication and they were listed as side effects that came with the medication itself). My therapist was terrible and actually made things much worse than beforehand. She seemed to refuse to believe I had the mental disorder I was diagnosed with by the psychiatrist and was very surprised and seemed upset that I was not surprised and actually agreed with my diagnosis. She was also very dismissive. It s very fine for general I have a cold or flu doctor visits but I would not recommend going for any type of therapy or mental health help.

I'm new to Tennessee and new to this area(Murfreesboro) and I chose Dr. Chunduru as my doctor and I'm so glad I did. She's done so much for me in a little time. Either she or one of the other office members have called to check on me at different times and that's not something I've ever seen before. Usually I go to the doctor and then, see ya, and it's 3 or 4 months later. Not here though. They seem to really care and that's something I was in much need of. I'm so very greatful for Dr. Chunduru and all the staff at Primary Care and Hope Clinic. I'm truly blessed.

I went in for some lab work today. Amanda was my tech to take my blood work. She made my experience great. The minute I got in the room with her she put me at ease. We laughed the whole time. I followed up with Sherry at the check out window to wrap my appointment details up. She was also so kind. She was able to answer all my questions. Sherry was very compassionate. Even with her wearing a mask I knew she was greeting me with a smile. The world needs more of people like these two caring women.

I'm really unhappy with the way things run at this clinic. For starters, the women in the front office area are often rude, condescending, and lazy. They cannot be trusted to give accurate information about anything going on at the clinic. Each one of them will give you a totally different answer to a question. Often I'll be told that they'll have to ask someone about a question of mine and that they'll call me when they have the answer. Do they actually call? NO! They are unbelievably disorganized, make you feel unwelcome, and could care less about you as a patient.

Originally I was a patient of Dr. Johnson and can honestly say he is a good man and a good doctor that I will exempt from the low rating I gave this facility. He's the only decent professional I've encountered working at this place. However, I was shifted from his care to another doctor when I gained insurance and it was a nightmare from that point on. I was told by this doctor that I had a disease that I thought was so unlikely I actually had that I immediately started trying to find another opinion. Sure enough, the second opinion I got revealed absolutely ZERO evidence of this disease. I also saw one nurse practitioner that blatantly lied to my face and caused me a lot of hassle and headache I didn't need.

If you have any other options besides this clinic, please don't waste your time coming here. All they will do is drain your time, your wallet, and your sanity.

I feel like Im the only person here who has had a bad experience but its been a year and Im still traumatized so I figured I would share my day here.

I had gotten out of a crisis unit a month prior to my visit. I was running out of my medication the unit prescriped me and I needed a referral for therapy. Obviously, I have severe depression.

I cant remember the womans name but she was older, had glasses, and I think was blonde. I think she was one of the counselors there? She asked me about my mental health history so I was completely open about it telling her about my PAST history with self harm and thoughts of suicide. I told her I was still depressed and was considering visiting my mom for awhile so I wouldnt be alone (I had moved to murfreesboro for school so Im four hours away from home.) I made it very clear that I was fine currently but I wanted to make sure I could get into therapy so I could start recovering further.

The first annoying thing that happened was that she just completely refused to discuss a possible diagnosis with me regarding my mental health. I threw around the idea of BPD and she said, We dont like to diagnose people because then it becomes their identity. She didnt even humor me. I really hope she doesnt have that methodology when it comes to diabeties or cancer because without a diagnosis there is no treatment.

Then it got WAY worse... she started saying I was threatening my life and she didnt feel safe letting me go home and be by myself or let me drive to my moms the next day. She was putting words in my mouth. She said, Well, how do you know your not going to drive off the side of the road on purpose after you leave here? I cant roll my eyes enough.

FIRST OF ALL, I never said infront of her that i wanted to end my life. I told her the only time I ever drove while wanting to end my life was while I was driving to the hospital to SAVE MYSELF and be in a safe place. Also, I made it clear if I ever did decide to end my life I would never consider doing something that could hurt other people. Im not heartless. She then called the police department to escort me to the hospital to be evaluated. I knew this was going to be a waste of time but she wouldnt listen to me and proceeded to take away my freewill and started the process.

The cop got there and walked me out through the waiting room. I have never been so embarassed in my life, having to be walked out by a cop infront of all of the other patients. When we got to the hospital I had to wait on a bed in the hall for over an hour, pee in a cup, and put on a smock all just to talk to a doctor for about five minutes (who remembered me from last month when I was actually a hot mess and was admitted into the crisis unit). He said I obviously was stable and should have never been brought here. He released me.

By the time I got out, the Hope Clinic was closed and I had no way to get back there to get my car. I had to go back into the hospital, have them call me a taxi that i had to wait on for 45 minutes so I could get to my stupid car. I wasted five hours of my day and had to go home without a new prescription or a referral for therapy.

After this happened to me I have been absolutely terrified of any doctor or counselor, worried that if Im honest about my past they are just going to shut me down and send me off so the hospital can deal with me. I understand that some legal issues would have been present if I had done something stupid after they let me go but I NEVER said I wanted to kill myself. How would I have ever been able to be counseled with her if I had to walk on eggshells and guard everything I say?! Gosh it just really irks me... even a year later.

This place may be okay for traditional doctors visits regarding physical ailments but please be cautious if you are coming here for a more severe case of mental illness. Seasonal depression may be okay but if you have ever tried to commit suicide or have self harmed and slip up your wording they will escort you out via police before you even know whats happening.

I m in the medical field and have nothing but good things to say about the Hope Clinic. Always professional, kind and understanding. Staff is very proficient and knowledgeable. I spend time with my NP and don t feel rushed. Even if it is near the end of the day I felt comfortable receiving my care. Exceptional. Environment is very clean and organized.

Always takes them forever to answer the phone. They told me I'd reached my insurance deductible, then the next time I went for an appointment they said I had a past due balance, plus the co-pay for that day as well. I was homeless at the time and they were expecting me to pay close to $80. Their front desk is uncaring at best. The office manager makes excuses when people complain about waiting upwards of 20 minutes on the phone just to try to make an appointment. I've called in the morning, I've called in the afternoon. It doesn't matter when you call, you're always waiting on the phone for at least 15-20 minutes.

I go to the clinic for assistance as Saturday is my only day off. They say can't see me. But could make an appointment during the week. Then she asked if I had insurance. I advised her no. She then tells me too would have to wait till September to meet with a case manager. I would have paid 1mill cash for assistance. But I was turned away going there is nothing we can do. Saturday is only for OUR patients. Very poor service.

They treat you with consideration and compassion. Appointments are easy to get. Sliding scale fees based on income. I was desperately ill and uninsured my first visit and they fit me in with a financial counselor to establish my fee schedule and with a doctor the same day because I needed help. Highly recommended. Note that they do not prescribe any sort of opioid medication including cough syrup. They do provide good , affordable care and very reasonable prescription prices all based on income. I'd go back even though I'm now insured again.

The place seems a little dirty that's unsanitary. When I went to get my paragard I was hurted so bad not even when I had my twins I was hurted so bad. After they place it they just told me to go back in there months but didn't give me an exact date I missed the appointment, a few weeks later I made another appointment and I missed it because job changed my schedule last minute and I had to work, so I called to reschedule and the receptionist went off on me telling me that I should let them know ahead of time if I need to cancel an appointment. Really? So they didn't gave me a date to go back but it's my fault? Or what am I supposed to do if my job didn't told us about the schedule change? Smh not going back to this place again.

I have had such a lovely experience with the Hope Clinic. Everyone from the front office workers to the providers has been courteous, caring, and knowledgeable. I have had nothing but good experiences. The front office staff has been helpful with scheduling me in a timely fashion. My provider changed and I needed a refill of my daily medication and the front office ladies worked so hard to find me the quickest appointment time. Then they talked with my new provider to make sure I had enough medication to get me to that appointment. They are always cheerful and ready to help in any way they can! Today I had an interaction with Shari, Mandy, and Tandra; they are the absolute best! They represent Hope Clinic as friendly, accommodating, and patient centered. Thank you so much to Hope Clinic for caring for our community with such integrity and grace.

Wonderful staff, truly care about patients. They work with you if you don't have insurance and offer sliding scale payments as low as $20 depending on income. They also offer discounted prescriptions which is incredible. Chloe the psych nurse practitioner is one of the few practitioners I've worked with that really cares and gets to know her patients. They also work with a couple local dentist's to get you incredibly cheap dental cleanings. I can not recommend this clinic enough.

When i first went to the clinic Dr. Jessica Coleman and her nurse crystal took me straight under their wing and got to working on what all i needed. I have several health issues and until i met them, ignored them because i had very little trust in any doctors. They were the sweetest , kindess, most trustworthy i had the pleasure to encounter and after a year, finally had me on a regimine that worked for me... Long story short, Dr Jess had to leave and along came Danielle Cardwell in all her fake glory, telling me, no u dont need this and now u have to go here to stay on that, which were all dead ends, and even at the request of another therapist not to drop 2 certain medications until i could get into another dr, she denied them all. But the kicker was when she took back an important insulin i need to maintain my blood sugar and i now have to do without all of my medications from diabetes, nueropathy, ptsd, anxiety, and depression... She is unprofessional(also words from other drs and therapists) and i would not recommend anyone to see her. She is one of those smile in your face then walk out the door and judge u kind of drs... She gets pleasure from her authority figure and now im left struggling with diabetes hypertension, nueropathy, anxiety, depression, etc while being a single mother to 4,and 2 of those special needs... Why cant they at at least direct me to someone who can help? My worst fear is somethings going to happen to me while alone wiyh my babies dont see Danielle, she dont have an empathetic bone in her selfish body

Been at the PCHC for about 8 years now and most of the time I've been there, I've been pleased with my service. I've been a patient with Jenni Straciner and Jessica Coleman. They are the sweetest women you will ever meet; along with there nurses, Jenny and Krystal! I would definitely recommend PCHC!

Its ok. Sometimes the staff is amazing, one time there was a horrible rude receptionist but i haven't seen her there in a while. Sometimes you have to see another doctor cause your doctor is booked or not in that day. Some of the doctors are amazing, but a couple of the Doctors and a few of their nurses need to go back to school I've been given some really bad advice a couple times by a nurse. There has only been one really useless doctor there that i have met, the rest are pretty great.

I think Google is not keeping up. I already reviewed them on their own survey to me. But will give them the highest rating because they have taken very good care of me. They also now have a pharmacy with much better prices on many of my meds. Non profit organization. Also can help with insurance problems and Medicare and Medicaid. Sorely needed, and much appreciated.

This place is terrible. I went in this summer for my first ever visit. The ladies behind reception were too occupied with themselves to acknowledge me verbally. After they finished conversing about their children's attitudes, I was then asked if I could be helped. I was there for my meet my doctor appointment. After waiting for at least 30 minutes in the waiting room (and mind you I was the only patient in the waiting room), I was taken back to a patient room. After about 15 more minutes, a nurse came in asking me the normal basic questions. When I mentioned my gynecologist, she went on to tell me I should do my gynecological care in their office instead of going where I was already established (rude!). Then she did vitals and said the doctor would be in soon. About 45 minutes later, the doctor finally came in, without any means of taking notes and no chart indicating to her who I was. She said something about wanting to know why I was there, and I said I was here for my meet my doctor appointment. I have a complicated history, so I wrote myself a note so I wouldn't forget to tell my doctor anything. She interrupted me before I even started telling her anything saying "now most people come in here with a list but I want to know what you want to focus on, so pick what is most important to you from your list"..... Seriously?! I thought the point of this appointment was for you to learn about me so when I need care, you can make a proper diagnosis based on my history. Right? Anyhow, I was in there only a few moments before a knock at the door and the nurse dragged her away from me. She returns about 20 minutes later, still without a means for notes, apologizing because she had a "problem patient". She then tells me I need to choose what I want to talk about today. When I choose my possible seizures, she says ok, we will send you to a neurologist. Then the power goes out. In a panic she rushes me to a room near the back of the office, one facing windows, so there is light. She then continues to talk about my private health issues in a room with an open door, with other patients walking by, and patients were also in neighboring rooms, doors obviously open. After this change of scenery, I hurriedly ended the appointment, and she tells me to call Monday when they have power again to reschedule a follow up. I call an entire week later checking on my referral.... nothing. I call another week later.... nothing. Then I start to call twice a week.... nothing. After 2 months of waiting for a referral, I fired my doctor (Dr Chayla Chasten). Not only for her lack of ability to show she has a genuine interest in her patients and their well being, but also for her inability to follow HIPPA rules in an uncommon situation as well as the rude staff at the front desk. This place is only getting a one star because I can't give it zero!
