This place is great! They rent paddle boards and all kinds of other river equipment, even after peak season ends and many others have stopped renting. Staff is super helpful and prices are reasonable. They also have used demo skiis for sale.

Rented snowboard and boots. I wear a size 10-10.5 in street shoes. The tech said I needed 9's to give me more control of the board. Long story short, I had to quit boarding after 1/2 a day and feel like both my big toenails are going to fall off. My try a more knowledgeable rental place.

Really friendly staff and they always have enough of them! This place gets really busy around 5 but they're quick to get to every customer. Great customer service and you get a discount on rentals if you bring your last receipt in!

Convinced my friend to get one boot size too small, which made it hard for him to ski.

They were rude when we mentioned the result of the bad advice.

Next time I will have friends rent at Mt Bachelor instead.

The Powder House is fantastic! The owner's and staff are quite knowledgeable and helpful. My family has been renting skis and snowboards from the Powder House for more than 15 years. I highly recommend using the Powder House whether you are renting skis or need ski or snowboarding apparel.
