We ordered calzone to go even though they have heaters and are serving on the patio.
Italian food can be regional. I am accustomed to the calzones that are pretty much half circle shaped. These were very different in appearance and the contents were very al dente: the onions and bell peppers were hardly cooked at all. It was seasoned well. The sauce served on the side was only marinara. I would like to think that if we had eaten there and been able to talk with a server I might have given 5 stars. I am grateful they are open during this Covid 19 time.

Pizza was good. But the beverages were way over priced.

Upon walking in i was greeted by the friendly hello of the invisible/non existent hostess. The waiting area s chalk board table was the highlight of my meal so that gets a star. Upon ordering my pie, i felt the earth shift from my Greek and Italian ancestors rolling in their graves.......My pizza had so much dough that it could have been used to manufacture 3 loafs of the 32 slice kind.......and i ordered a personal. The Godfather himself would have to give this chef an offer he cannot refuse inorder to stop such shame to a classic staple of Americans, Italains, and Greeks. Id say the meatballs take me back to when I would eat my grandmas meats before a vendetta against the Vespinni family. The selection of 80s music is awesome and reminds me of 1984 Miami when i would bust illegal animal traders on what was called the Cuban Silk Road......so.....yall get a star for that!

We were excited to eat here seeing there are such great reviews. Unfortunately it was not the best experience. First we waited approximately 1 hour for our food, maybe they were busy? We asked for a veggie pizza with no olives and it had olives. We spoke to the waiter who stated "I only see one olive on there". That's the only response we got (and yes there were olives all over the pie). As we signed our check he wrote "NO OLIVES!" on the receipt...we're still trying to figure out what that meant, but considering his condescending nature we assume it was out of spite. Maybe they really are so great they don't need new business.

Scrumptious pizza! Fresh salad bar! Great choices! Excellent service!

Order the pizza with thin crust then be prepared for the brain explosion!

My wife and I go here for lunch sometimes. Love that you can get pizza by the slice at lunch time. Good salad bar. Nice staff.

Great people here at this place. The owners are great people. I'm glad they are doing well. Really loved the old location as it was cozier, but the new location has its positives. Make sure to order one of their signature pizzas as they are delicious. If there is a wait, it's worth it.

As usual the food was very good as well as our service. However, there was a large group of young girls who were so obnoxiously loud, it made for an unpleasant evening.

Great party room, service on the slow side, salad bar never restocked, but food was good.

Always fresh made to order great no, super great food. I didn't care for the pasta but try the French fries with cheese and bacon. Real potatoes and so good! Oh the rolls are big round fresh bread, served with real butter. Don't worry about carbs just eat it enjoy it you only live once. My Fav pizza is all of them haha :D

Pizza is good but staff is slow and not very friendly

Really great place to have some family time and great pizza! Only has one game so if you're looking for some arcade time then this is not the place.

Great place for all-you-can-eat-salad. They have great options at the salad bar. When I'm out and about and craving a salad, this is my #1 place.

We had a baby shower today in the banquet room and the customer service was amazing! Our waitress was great and Tyler helped coordinate the food so that we were able to accommodate everyone. The food was amazing as usual. Popolo's seriously has the best pizza in town!

Disgusting. It's so dirty. The bathroom is so gross. The salt and pepper shakers and napkin holders were so dirty. The food and server was great. The only reason forn2 stars. Bar was filthy with empty drink glasses and napkins. The manager needs to be fired for letting this place look this way.

If you ever want to feed a lot of people and wow them, order the Party Size Pizza! It's 30 inches and is delicious! Ordered half Hawaiian and half Combo and it was good! Servers were AWESOME!!

I dont remeber ever going here but Google maps says i have been here multiple times and keeps buging me to review it so i guess i have to. Its a pizza plase so its automatically 3 starsand the name gets it a half a star. The place isn't very noticeable since i dont even remeber seeing it negive one star. But im a nice women so ill give it 2 just cuze so ill just rate it 5 stars lol.

Been eating Popolo's since I was a little kid, and it's still one of the best pizza places in town.

Always a great stop for us, we have wonderful memories as teenagers and we love to reminisce every now and again. The place is always clean and we always receive fast and friendly service.

The pizza is delicious! You will not be disappointed.

If you want good pizza this is the place to go. I highly recommend.

We had grand daughter birthday party in the back room. Pizza was excellent and our server, he was awesome!

Went for a blood Brothers event to watch a movie. Had to pay $10 for a all you can eat pizza to get in and they didn't have room. Would have been nice to know before you took my money and wouldn't give it back. Didn't even get to try the pizza

Pizza not bad to be American at least for the dough then the association between vegetables cheese sausage bacon mushrooms is purely American

Great pizzas. Tho crowded, the atmosphere was relaxed and were able to talk as we waited for our pie.

They make a great pizza. We get the Popolos special. Its a thick crust with lots of toppings.

Came here with my in laws and it was 10 of us on a busy Friday, we waited a little over 45 min for a table but the food was fantastic, service was great. I'll definitely be coming back but on a not so busy day.

Pizza is over priced and the crust was under cooked, won't be going back

Love this place! Pizza is always fresh and hot. Salad bar has a large selection of fresh vegetables. Staff is friendly and attentive. Only complaint is that it is across town from us so we don't get over there too often.

Haven't been in years...since blackstone and herndon. Wow what an upgrade! Props

Early afternoon service was slow, beer selection is decent and the food was quite good. They have some arcade cabinets in the back if you have kids.

Cozy atmosphere and great pizza. There are a couple of booths that are damaged but they were not seating people at them. Large portions, family friendly.

Stop #95 for @pizzas365: Popolo's Pizza has a pretty decent pizza overall, but it's not too special. For jalapenos, they should roast them instead of the thick slices they have now. 3.4 Stars.

This is truly the best local pizza joint in the Central Valley! Their pizza is the best I've ever had in my life and it's my favorite food! Support this local business! Their patio is open for dine-in!

We ordered there gigantic pizza and it was devious our service was fantastic and our order came out on time! Great for family functions as well as casual dates.

What a great way to ruin a vacation. This place got my whole family sick as we all dtarted throwing up all night and now feel like crap on our vacrion. my 3 year old she knew better some how and didnt eat any we took a couple bits and noticed quickly that the potato skins were rotten and when I called to ask for a refund they hung up on me. I know now why this place doest get any business. And y all the other pizza places were busy but they weren't. Next time I'll take the wait. Besides the food had our hotel room smelling like I had a bomb fire going. Pure disgusting and awful customer service b lucky to get any of my money back.

Delicious extra cheesy pizza and great salad bar. A little pricier at new location but good daily lunch specials. Full service bar and happy hour deals. Lots of seating including outdoor patio and game room for the kids.

Overwhelmingly thick crust which makes for a very dry, unbalanced pizza. The staff is great, and it s clear the ingredients are quality, but I don t think I will come back.

The pizza at Popolo s is excellent. We like the pizza with mainly vegetables but their meatballs are also great. There is a large, 3 topping special for $16.63, which is terrific.

This is a tough one because the quality is there, but the pizzas they serve--as good as they are--aren't worth anywhere near the prices they charge. A few weeks back, I paid almost $30 for a single pizza that, while good, I might have bought from Pacifica or even Domino's (their handmade crust, that is) for less than half the price. This is another one of those Fresno businesses that seems to think it's based in a larger city than Fresno.
