Our favorite place! THE BEST pizza, and the girls that work here are usually super sweet and friendly!

Good friendly service.. the pepperoni could have been cooked more.. very expensive food that is not worth it . Will probably never be going back

Hire more waiters and waitresses. If your current ones cannot handle working in a busy restaurant, then it is not worth wasting your time dining at this junction.

Was great going there and the best pizza I've had in a long time. It's very thick not flimsy like other pizza and smells great. Will be eating again soon.

Drove to fresno from visalia and i got to say this is one of the best pizza have had will be back very soon

It was a good experience up until I found a baby roach in the Parmesan cheese shaker... ugh was the most disgusting experience ever! I told our waiter... but seems that the manager was too ashamed to come talk to us one on one and told the waiter that there was nothing he could do. WOW!!!!!
I used to be a loyal customer back when Popolo's was on Blackstone...but this is what has strayed me away.
Check your shakers before you throw that cheese on your pizza.

Went to this establishment for a baby shower. They have a private room in the back, designed to accommodate a large group of people. From the start, it seemed as though our party was nothing more than an inconvenience. Terrible service, outrageous pricing and several of our guests didn't have and opportunity to even order a drink, as the server dropped off the "bottomless" drinks to some of the ladies and disappeared.....until the bill arrived. What a joke! They charged almost $50.00 for a bowl of lettuce with a couple tomatoes and cucumbers, a handful of croutons and ranch dressing on the side. Rip off!! First and last time I ever go there. Don't waste your $$, better off going to Little Caesar's.....same kinda pizza with same kinda "customer service", basically non existent.

Outstanding Pizza! One of the Best Pizza in Fresno. this place has been here for over 25 years. and there is a reason for that.... I really really good pizza. yes it's a little pricy but we'll worth it.

Ok maybe I got the luck of the draw...... First started with no one waiting to be seated. Waiting on someone to seat me and my son...15 min later a crowd of people showed up and hey what do you know someone appeared and started taking names and putting other people first which I spoke up about...........

Second. The pizza was soggy and for an $80 bill not great at all....... Including the beer that was served. So I'll add that in this review..... but a $30 pizza not the business.........

Third. The waitress gave us a to go box. My son opened it up..... And there was cockroach in the Box. He pointed it out which I brought it to their attention. The waitress was great through out the dinning. But between the soggy pizza, high bill and cockroach. I think I'll stick to round table next time. Lesson learned for myself

Calzone was awesome and they have a good salad bar. Just took a long time to get our drinks other than that it's a great place to have pizza and beer.

The "Happy Hour " special is simply incredible! You get a 5 topping(!!) Individual pizza + a pint of your choice of draft beers for $10.99
Service was great, music and 5 TV screens

GLUTEN FREE pizza crust! My waiter didn't know much about gluten, so I was on my own = how it always used to be. They have 3 sizes of GF crust, which is quite unusual. It was tasty / quite good for being GF.
Popolo's is known, at least in my family, for their good calzones (for people with no food limitations).

I enjoy clam chowder Fridays and love their cheesy buffalo fries, but the wait time is pretty long.

Pizza is great, needs to open up already.... employees are very friendly...

I enjoyed the pepperoni and olive pizza very much, the service was good, didn't have to do much waiting. My boyfriend and I took his niece and nephew to the arcade area and they enjoyed it but one of the games ate a few quarters. Overall it was nice, would go back again

Served some bad peas with my salad today. Other than that, salad bar was pretty good. Server very nice

I really enjoyed their pizza. I like that the bread is thick, not too greasy and moist. The flavors balanced out nicely. Some place makes their pizza too salty which takes away the taste of the pizza. It's definitely a place I would go for pizza.

Great pizza and amazing service. We have family in town from Texas and the staff allowed us to stay for an hour after closing to visit. The young lady that gave us service went above and beyond any normal service. She built a salad for my mother inlaw a no d provided great customer service. We can't wait to go back.

I have been eat at Popolo's Pizza before it was Popolo's like 2 locations ago! Best salad bar anywhere. Been going here for 35+ years..

Best pizza in Fresno. It's not New York, but it's darn good

Used to like their pizza, but I'd rather buy a Costco pizza considering the price and especially flavor.

Always have had a great Pizza at Popolo's, exceptional salad bar,
these pizza are loaded with meat ,cheese , etc.

A little pricey, but very well worth it. If you want an exceptional
pizza made with fresh ingredients you will enjoy. If you want
something cheap that taste cheap but will make a good turd
the next day, by all means, eat a $8.00 Dominos. Popolo's
is for people who are willing and able to pay for a rewarding dining experience.

Ordered online and pizza was made and done prior to the time it was supposed to be done. The pizza was made perfect based on my order and tasted fantastic. I ordered for a group of friends and I had multiple people ask where it came from because it was so good.

Food was good, new building awesome and service was ok.

Really good pizzas, and breads, priced a little higher than the 'budget' places.

Well I came here with high expectations but left with NO DESIRE to EVER return. I drove 10 miles to get there. driving through the city, passing numerous pizza places along the way.

I ordered a Medium Thin Crust, Pepperoni, Black Olive and Fresh Mushroom with Extra Sauce ($20 without even the tip yet), well done. It took forever to get my order (40 minutes) and they weren't even busy. I thought of walking out two or three times, but I really wanted to try this pizza place. So I waited and waited. Normally I would of bolted. I gave the waitress the look, but she never looked my way or came to my table.

Well it finally came, and after the first bite, I was hugely disappointed and was kicking myself for waiting soooooooooo long. The pizza was JUST OKAY, for sure, nothing to drive out of your way to go and get. There is NO reason, to wait here long periods of time here, as there's TONS of restaurants in a 1 mile radius.

The dough was JUST OKAY, nothing special for sure. I was hoping for CRISPY, but what I got was a dried out thin crust. The Sauce, even though I asked for EXTRA Sauce was MISSING. The main reason why I even ENJOY pizza, it the crust and pizza sauce. The toppings were very SKIMPY, as they cut the meats and veggies so thin, they really disappear and get lost.

The salad bar I also wasn't impressed with either. I have seen some at grocery stores, looking way, way better than their presentation.

The staff is friendly and its a brand new building.

My Bottom line....Would I ever think of coming back here? Are you kidding me? No way!! Even if I was across the street I would go to another of the 1000 restaurants very close by. I feel paying top dollar for a Medium Pizza, ya better DELIVER Gourmet Pizza and not JUST OKAY PIZZAS.

Worst service we have ever experienced.Asked to speak to manager but server say he was one of the managers! I am handicapped but had to manage to signal the server/ manager by yelling from my window table across the room.. Forgot my water, forgot my soup and our Shaw Madness was burned and had no pesto.My husband was given a fork to eat with but I had to yell at the server fof a fork.Hope the owner reads this. I never complain but this was a horrible experience! Will share experience with friends and family.If I could rate zero, I would have.Pitiful.

Found this place thanks to their Facebook page. It popped up on my feed once and decided to give them a try based on their often posted food option pictures they serve and other people's reviews. First time and I decided to purchased the most priciest pizza which is the largest 30 inch pizza they serve. My family and I where satisfied with their pizza. Took it to go so it came out to 4 boxes that I took home. I ordered through phone both the female employee and the gentleman I spoke to where very nice. Place looks very nice and higher upscale compare to your traditional pizza places. Outdoor seating looks great as well if there was more like a rope of warm white light that may turn it to looks more romantic as the layout of the outdoor seating looks as such anyway. Overall was rather surprised how pleasant it was from a phone call to pick up and paying. Will come back again :) this time to eat there with my family to see how the service is in person.

Good food. The wait time is an issue.. Depending on who you get service can be hit or miss.

I've been coming to this Family owned place for years and the Food and Service are always great. Every time I get a chance to come home home to Fresno I try to pay them a visit!!!!!

One of my favorite lunch places in town. I had thought they went out of business when I saw the Blackstone location was closed. Fast forward and I find them again. Lucky me.

Great salad selection, phenomenal pizzas, friendly staff, generous sized cups for sodas and tea, large spacious dining area with TVs and a meeting room in the back you can close off from the rest of the restaurant.

I would rate the food items but I haven't had anything I didn't like...it's all good.

First time going . Decided to get it to go placed order the manager told us 20 minutes . Sat down and waited after 30 minutes we asked 1 of the nice servers if she if she could check on our order she came back and told us that it still wasn't done 45 minutes later we still haven't got the pizza so we asked the manager what was taking so long cuz he had told us 20 minutes and he was completely rude and told us a big order came in. I asked him why couldn't he have just told us that and we could have come back. We will never return based on how rude the manager was

I really liked the atmosphere and the service but when the pizza arrived it didn't quite meet my expectations. Perhaps it was what I ordered. I think maybe other types of pizzas may be good and I would like to try the calzones and the sandwiches.

Ehhhhhhh, it's just eghhhhh, it's not good or bad. Lol

In this place they prepare the giant and delicious pizza! I recommend it

Like the new spot for Fresnos best pizza and soups... But the best part is the tap beer selection!

This is the second time I have visited this place. The location is pretty good with decent parking. We sat on the patio as there was no place inside for a group of eight. There was a lovely breeze and a beautiful sunset....ahhhhh! Our server was outstanding! Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Service was fast, even though they were very busy. On both visits, I thought the food was good, but nothing special. Ladies restroom was clean.

I went here for a gift certificate and ordered a pizza for takeout as well. I've eaten here a couple of times over the last 10 years. I love the pizza but they are priced more than I typically pay for pizza. I have a family of 4 who LOVES pizza and Little Ceasars fits our budget better lol. This particular time ordered ahead for pick up so I expected to be in and out quite quickly. However, after paying there was a bit of a wait. Not too long after the server came to me and said there was a mistake with my order. I was sharing the pizza with a friend and they put the wrong toppings on her side. The young lady was very apologetic and offered to give the first pizza along with the corrected order. We weren't in a rush so I accepted. As we waited she offered us a drink and/appetizer for the wait. We got our order fresh out of the oven along with the still pretty warm mess up to take back to my kids. Despite the mistake I will definitely continue to order from them

Excellent place. Great for lunch, dinner, even take out. Delicious baked sandwiches, the Maroa and the Wishon are amazing. New location has a beautiful bar with a great selection of craft beers, some local. Pizza is generally made with a thick crust, but soft and doughy. Fresh ingredients in their pizzas, their signature pizzas are great. Garlic chicken is a favorite. A must visit place in Fresno.

Friendly eager staff, tons o'TV's tuned to sports, super salad bar. I could go on, but Family owned, local shops are my faves.

Excellent service and appetizers. Most dinner items good, my garlic chicken pizza was lacking garlic and the olives I requested. Too many tomatoes, overpowered the taste.

Do yourself a favor and try one of their baked sandwiches for lunch (along with the included salad bar trip!). Unique and delicious. Service is friendly and the price offers great value for the taste, quality, and quantity.

Pizza dough was good. Not to bad but Ive had better. I ordered the philly cheesesteak and hawaiin. Price for everything with potato skins and cheese sticks was about 75 dollars.

I felt the Pizza is ok, But they have other Italian food and salads which are good.

Had the worse experience at this place. Went with family and friends and kids and had to wait for an hour and 25 minutes to get a pizza and the excuse I got was they were backed up and was told after being there an hour that they were barely putting the pizza in the oven. Here I had kids who were waiting for a pizza for an hour or so. The staff didn't even have the decency to tell us it would be long wait. We would have gone some where else. This is the first and last time I visit this sticky joint. Pizza and service both suck. They had this pillsbury dough man who was running the kitchen and the floor as their manager who had no management experience or what customer service means

Popolos has delicious pizza and a nice salad bar. The service has always been great.
