Hinckley Concordia Theatre Review

You just cannot beat live theatre. The production of Evita was wonderful.

Really well run theatre, plenty of staff on hand,and great prices for drinks ice cream etc at the interval,loved the 39 steps,best yet.

Theatre seating is 1940 cinema seats very uncomfortable and no leg room. Abbey theatre Nuneaton much better

Robinson Crusoe Panto! FANTASTIC! Had us crying with laughter. Well done all!

What can I say about this theatre. It is housed in an old converted factory bht once inside you would never know. It is run by volunteers and amature groups to a very high standard. It is a very popular venue. I have seen performances there which would rival those on the London Stage.

A wonderful, local Pantomime. Costumes and scenery are always amazing!

My Fair Lady - what a fabulous production! The 17 year old leading lady ought to have a great career in the theatre ahead of her
She was outstanding complemented by a terrific Henry Higgins - fine singing, dancing and acting all round.

We had a fantastic time and the performance was fantastic with lots of laughs all the way through.

Phantom of the Opera performed by the youth theatre. My goodness what a surprise. The wealth of talent shown and the voices were exceptional. Well done

I have visited rhe Concordia theatre many times to watch shows and do events such as, The Leading Edge Arts Project. I like that you allow them to come to the theatre and share their experiences and knowledge with us.

Was a fantastic performance by Hinckley Youth Theatre in Phantom. We are very blessed in Hinckley to have such a Theatre and such talented performers.

Excellent performance, theater is dated in some areas, such as foyers and toilets, but is entirely run on a voluntary basis. Excellent facility for the local community.

Very impressed with' life is just a bowl of cherries' . The director /producer did a brilliant job! The show was excellent, all the cast made it a fast moving and extremely entertaining show . We look forward to their next production. The standard was higher than many professional shows we have seen . Fantastic!

Visited the Concordian to watch a dance show. Brilliant performance. Venue is nice, good facilities and pleasant staff.

Went to see Evita. Throughly enjoyed it. Go regularly and have seen some excellent productions. Very lucky to have such a great theatre on our doorstep.

Fantastic theatre. Went to see Aladdin the pantomime. Better than lots of professional companies. Excellent costumes and set and a very talented cast.

Been to see a number of shows here and always amazing. Particularly blown away by Avenue Q and Les Mis. Wonderful, helpful staff and atmosphere. Perhaps bring a pillow to sit on if it's a long one...

First visit. Very nice local theatre with good amenities. Not too much leg room for long legged people!

Lovely old fashioned theatre from the outside but very up to date on the interior. Have seen quite a few shows here and enjoyed.

Brill panto as always. Nice theatre with a good atmosphere. Staff pleasant and the panto cast were outstanding.

Beauty and the beast was the best panto production we have seen at the Concordia,cast and costumes superb.

The panto is outstanding, Simon Grant gives his all as the dame, well worth a visit.

Some years ago now my mother in law used to take my wife and I with our children to see the panto at the Concordia Theatre, we are now taking our children along with our grandchildren to see the same.
Aladin was fantastic thank you to everyone at the Concordia our grandchildren Lucy and Evan will carry on those special memories.

Saw a local production of avenue Q and I was surprised by thepridtxuon value and by how amazing the cast was, I'm ashamed to say it was my first time but will now deffinetly become a regular

Nice little place, i know they have to earn every penny to keep the place running but needs upgraded seating. i was in pain for 2 days after going seats are bad, i would be prepared to pay more for tickets if upgrades done,

Went to see made in Dagenham excellent show very funny however if you're easily offended with bad language then you might want to give it a miss I'm no prude but there were lots of expletives throughout the show alittle over the top in my opinion. However apart from that excellent production loved 'Barbara Castle ' an Harold Wilson ' stole the show Concordia theatre a real gem if you've never been it's really worth a visit the productions put on there are as good as any professional show . Good disabled access an free parking in many near by car parks after 6pm

Wonderful show. We are so lucky to have this beautiful theatre.

Hinckley Concordia theatre is a brilliant place. The itinerary varies from plays to shows and musicals to opera. It actively offers the theater to showcase local talent.
Tonight I have just got back from watching four local boys that have now made it big, but they are still very much in touch with the fans who come to see them. The band is 4th Avenue and they were brilliant.
Next month we are going to see a play and a local dance school's show. Can't wait.

Attended a party their. The lager in the bar was rotten it was as if the pipes weren't clean, the vodka had stuff floating in it from the dash gun that hadn't been cleaned in a while, however the bottled drinks good and all drinks were cheap enough the venue is pleasant and the staff are friendly

Probably the biggest and best fully amateur theatre in the country presenting drama, dance, musicals, panto, opera, tribute bands and revival shows.

Another great show from our local amateur performers who always put on a very professional show.

The front of house volunteers are always welcoming and helpful. The different theatre groups always put on a excellent show. The latest show I've been to see was Season Greetings which had some real laugh out loud moment.

Lovely place not very big but that adds to the charm. Never seen a bad show always excellent and very entertaining.

Seats are cramped. Bit of a struggle for anybody over 6ft tall

Good venue for dance festival although leg room tight for taller people. Nice people working there.
