As always... This place never disappoints. Their food is so delicious!

love this place!! I come all the way from the south subs to get their food!!

Pollo Express is always great. I am always highly satisfied with the charbroiled chicken, Mexican rice and beans. They are the best. If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you are missing.

My son and I placed an order over the phone, so that it would be prepared before we got there. We didn't want to dine out; instead we wanted to eat there. I'm one of the partners of an immigration law firm and recieve great reviews about this establishment from my paralegal. When we came in to get our meals we asked if we could eat there considering the place was practically empty. The young lady stated no, due the order being less than $25 dollars. Our bill was approximately $20 dollars. I ask why and she stated it was policy. I'm African American and speak Spanish fluently. She then turned to her co-worker and told her in Spanish not to allow us sit and eat there; due to our race and it interfere with some of there frequent customers due to the fact that thier not fond of African Americans. When I made a statement back to her in Spanish she was "SHOCKED " that I knew her language. This is one of the reasons why we as Americans have to STOP this type of racism. I will be posting more on my Firm's blog regarding this experience. This was a great learning experience for my son. El Pollo Express get your business ethics together. Because you could be sued. UNBELIEVABLE

Me and my cousin were looking for some where to eat cruising around and we seen that chicken on the window we knew we had stop there and BOY IT WAS AMAZING!!! like 10/5 stars you will not regret it at all if you decide to go

Absolutely delicious food for an amazing price. And, the owners have awesome customer service skills; they know how to treat their patrons, remember your name, etc. Cannot recommend highly enough, we eat here 2-3 times a month.

This place is CASH ONLY, otherwise I would give a five star review. There service is a bit slow but the chicken is delicious. Everything I've had on the menu is fantastic and they have a good special on weekdays. Only other draw back is that the Verizon reception is very poor inside.

RE-OPENED AS OF JULY 6, 2013! With just chicken, beans and rice making up the main dishes, you can't find better food anywhere that's really affordable. Treat yourself to the made-to-order guacamole and the rice pudding for dessert. You'll be back.

I ordered dinner to go on a Thursday (when they have their special) after work (4:30pm) and it was amazing! Little bit of wait (was told it would be 45 minutes but I timed it and it was only 25 minutes). I highly recommend this place for amazing chicken and great value! I would consider placing an order ahead of time to cut the wait time.

Less than $17 total when you order a whole chicken you also get half a chicken free along with beans, rice, tortillas, and salsas... what a steal! That special is on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Tender mouth watering charbroiled chicken seasoned to perfection. Don't miss this please. Get the frijoles charros with it you will not be let down. This is a great place for a family meal, i ordered the whole chicken w 2 sides to go and a guacamole w free chips. It was really inexpensive and their salsa is delicious. Cash only

Horrible service. Called way in advanced to place an order for pickup. Arrived and was informes that they ran out of rice. Advised that I'll wait the projected 10 minute delay they provided me with, i sat right in front of the register ans they forgot about me... never again

I really liked the burrito there. I thought it was something worth going back for. The ingredient distribution was really good too. Every bite had a little of everything and each component was so good. I would recommend going there for a good burrito.

If you ever find yourself at the Pilsen area, Do Not forget to pay these guys a visit. I'm not going to describe the flavor of their delicious chicken, but I'll tell you that if you drive by with the windows down... You're definitely going to want to pull up. Super small place, but cozy, fast and friendly!
