Prices aren't as low as Guitar Center, but it's less clamorous, and the staff is regular enough that you'll get to know most of them. Lots of expertise with all instruments, new gear, used gear, lessons, you name it, you can't beat Bill's.

The store is nice looking but the prices are really high. I was shocked at how little the sales staff knew about recording mics. They had no selection and tried to talk me into an MXL mic that was way below my needs. Was told a lot of made up B.S. Don't recommend at all.
