Went to a masquerade ball this past weekend here. Great atmosphere and beautifully decorated

Located in Marshall NC on Blannahasset Island in the French Broad river. Historic 2 story school house with working art studios and event space available to rent. Ample parking on island and across the bridge in downtown Marshall.

Stopped in on a Sunday, it was pretty quiet. Love Marshall, will be back when things are more active.

The island that this place is situated on completely flooded twice from the french broad river in this past year alone, completely covering it. That plus the fact of a sewage plant about 50 yards away, stinks

Great artists and pottery. Loved the little mountain town. Population 900

Artist studios are often open and usually welcome drop-ins. Be sure to check out any of the craft shows that happen here, especially Handmade in Marshall and the Potters of Madison County.

Great trip through the Western North Carolina countryside, and into this quiet town. Wonderful people.

Had the extraordinary experience of getting a tattoo via the Pars Fortuna Studio by artist, Baylen Levore. The studio is beautiful and comforting, all Covid-19 protocols are followed, and the artistry of Baylen is beyond exceptional. Every tattoo is mindfully discussed--it's a true collaboration between client and artist. I could not be more honored to have a true piece of art represented on my body!

Neat building. Our granddaughter has a tattoo studio there and her friend has a herbalist center there.

Great group of artists with a nice venue area in the building for craft/art shows.

Interesting artist studios. Large room available for events.
