Thought I'd be smart by not using a broker and approaching banks directly. Turns out the ME Bank didn't care enough about getting my mortgage approved before settlement. 7 days before settlement was due and the bank was getting nowhere.

A friend recommended I speak so Juan about my situation. Although I was reluctant at first, it turned out to be the best decision I've ever made. I don't know of any other broker that would say up until midnight to help dig yourself out of a tricky situation but the fact that Juan did says a lot about his passion and commitment.

As a result, my horrible experience in purchasing my first every property was somewhat turned around. I was able to purchase the property and the rest is now history. Will definitely be approaching Juan and Panda Financials in the future when I am able to purchase again.

Juan was the most responsive and responsible mortgage broker I have ever met. He would patiently explain details of the loan with me, making sure I understand what I am getting myself into. He will answer all my questions to the best of his ability, if it is something that he cannot answer immediately, he would find out and get back to me within the same day. Having accurate information from Juan allowed me to make informed decision on my finances and helped me get through obstacles for my home loan. At the end, I was able to save lots and not worry about my home loan much. Juan always has our interest at heart, he recently renegotiated a lower rate with the bank for us and ensured that we have the lowest possible rate. I will definitely recommend Juan to any of my family and friends if they were to require a mortgage broker.

Panda financial had helped me purchase a property a few years ago, when I had no idea what I was doing. I was referred by a friend to Juan and things went very well. The buying process was not as daunting as it seemed. Juan and his associates helped me through every step, explained everything I needed to know and outlined the whole buying a property process to me. They taylored the home loan search to what I was looking for and gave me a choice from the top 3 or 4 loans. If I needed anything or was not clear on something, they would help. During the application process, they would check to see things were proceeding correctly and things were on track to settlement. If things are needed to be chased up, they will do it promptly and get things escalated by the bank to expediate the process. I have found the mortgage application process through Panda Financials to be very smooth and I will definately use them again if and when I require another home loan. Juan is an awesome broker. He had helped my wife and I buy our first home as well as our following investment property 2 years later. It is insane how many questions you have during this time. The fear of putting yourself into the largest debt of your life, the uncertainty of the overall process, the thought of unexpected additional costs, whether or not the property even worth the value are a few that spring to mind.

I have used Juan for the past 4 to 5 years in all my dealings with the property market. Being a first time buyer, I had a lot of questions about the timing and process of buying a property and each time Juan managed to come back to me within the day, making me feel like a important and valued client. The second time I used Juan for a refinance, he provided me with the best rates of the brokers and went through step by step each one and the advantages and disadvantages of each. It was a very smooth process with Juan taking care of all the paperwork.
This was in stark contrast to prior brokers I have spoken to who took a long time to get back to me, didn't bother to answer my queries and seemed more interested in adding me to their loan book while doing the minimum amount of work.
