A pleasant place to hike, as a continuation, to attractions in the area such as an open museum, etc. Instead of an exhibition of carriages overlooking the palace and a stroll in the gardens. The palace is currently undergoing renovations and can not be explored inside.

In July 2018 we have been here. The palace itself is still closed due to a long-term renovation. With an outside elevator you can go up and dr from the roof a beautiful view over the beautifully landscaped gardens. If desired, there is also a guided tour. Recommended!

Beautiful palace and now museum. Various changing exhibitions and of course a permanent collection. Nice overview of how the Oranges used to live. Beautiful Christmas decorations always around Christmas. The gardens are in French style. Definitely worth it.

At the moment the buildings have not been erected due to major renovation.

The bad news is that the palace itself is being renovated, so only the stables and gardens were open. These were lovely though. Make sure to keep an eye on the time while walking through the gardens, as certain parts close at certain times. Ask about this at the ticket office. There are 2 restaurant...

Well ... entertained day. In the back of the gardens I bought an ice cream and a bottle of water. Then it went wrong, the ministry had no idea what he was doing.
He could complain, it was sooooo busy, .... nahg with two types of ice, water and coffee, he should have been able to handle this easily....

Visited the princes and princesses day
Great success for the children There is a carriage, juggling, there is a hobby horse race, in short enough to see and experience. Only the so-called ball was a mockery. For the parents a nice place to be with the palace gardens.

There was a Christmas market, very nicely set up. But it could not bear the name Christmas market. Lots of old stuff and stalls with a bit of old weird clothes. It was very disappointing and certainly not for us next time.
