Perhaps the best playhouse I have ever been to! I laughed so hard at Juanito Bandito I couldn t breath! A small theater. All the seats are good. The actors helped seat patrons. The actors helped with intermission concessions. The actors were great actors and had me laughing all night with their short improvs throughout the play. All around family fun.

This place is the best. Been coming here for as long as I can remember. It never disappoints. We sat on the front row this time and really enjoyed the show. I had an 11 month old on my lap and although he was enthralled by Juanito Bandito's incredible mustache and the rippity rap-tastic music, it was really Luke Sheppard on the piano/harmonica/saxophone that entertained. He was unbelievable. My son couldn't get enough of that piano playing man. Luke snuck little waves and eyebrow raises that made my kid scream with excitement. It's the little touches like that that make Pickleville Playhouse something I'll continue to support for a long time to come.

Just watch out for the "Tornado full of dirty diapers that has picked up a lost Pokemon Go player." You won't be disappointed, trust me.

We didn't do the dinner this year, which we usually do. It seems to be hit and miss. The food is never terribly amazing, but it's not bad. It's been years since I've had the barbecue, so things may have changed. Strong work Pickleville.

We bought tickets for a weekday matinee. We drove 60 miles, arrived at the show, and were told show had been cancelled. They then told us they had notified everyone, but later acknowledged this was not true. They refunded the ticket price, but refused to make it right - for their dishonesty. and for the inconvenience they caused for us.
Disappointed, and we learned a lesson about their owner and management.

Very entertaining. I'm not a fan of musicals, but my wife and the rest of my family had a great time. The cast was also very friendly and interacted with the audience better than I've seen elsewhere. I highly recommend going if theater is an interest for you, definitely worth it.

Just saw Shootout at Shadow Mountain with my two grandsons ages 7 & 8. We had so much fun. I haven t laughed that hard for a long time and the boys keep quoting lines from the play and laughing about it. Family friendly and an Amazingly talented cast!! A must see while at Bear Lake!

The group right next to us didn't wear masks the entire time. I talked to the employees and asked them to do something during intermission. They told me that if I had a problem, then I could talk to the group myself. Other groups around the theater were half wearing the masks, and the theater did nothing about it. Super disappointed in the theater. Good show, but they don't value their guest safety.

This week we did a family reunion at Bear Lake and my whole family went and watched Who Shot Juanito Bandito. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I'm a 40 year old guy and I laughed so hard I cried. Our whole family loved it and can't wait to go back next year.

Outside dinner was ok, buffet fajitas. Play was poor. Wasn't really a melodrama, maybe a farce but really poor plot. Actors were good, but many of the "inside" jokes must have been too inside to really land funny. Had to be told when they went off script and ad lib'd, since most if the play was so disconnected.

This place was great! I went there for the first time with my family to celebrate the Fourth of July. The show was hilarious, and the cast was great at improv and making the audience feel part of the show. Really a fantastic family outing to go to, and it's a pretty great deal when you do the show with dinner after!

We saw Juanito Bandito and it was great! I have known some of the Davis' for about 9 years and they are all so talented. Their show was great and really funny. I thought it was a little long, but it was entertaining and a lot of fun. Snacks were good too. A lot of family friendly fun!

Watched "Who Shot Juanito Bandito?" in July. We've been to many playhouses in the past 5 years...but this was, by a landslide, the BEST SHOW and cast we've EVER seen!

Even my older teen boys were DYING laughing throughout the evening. And we all...including my 10 year old daughter, STILL burst into laughter every time we think of the French Inspector, Jaques..."flossing"!

Juanito plays his part SO well, that my son refused to believe the civilian photo in the program was the actor playing Juanito...so I had to prove it to him...

I went to a play here with some friends about a year ago and it was THE BEST theatre experience! The melodrama type, original play they put on (Who Shot Juanito Bandito) was soo amazing! I was belly laughing most of the time! You can feel the excitement and joy that the actors have for the show and improvisation throughout was so creative and fun. Plus the talent!! Amazing! I wish I could go back this year - but I will 100% go again someday!

We just enjoyed "The Drowsy Chaperone" at the Pickleville Playhouse Theatre - Bear Lake. The cast was great, the show was fun, we may go twice this visit! My favorites were Jordan Todd Brown who played "Man In Chair"and Debbie Miles who played "Mrs. Tottendale". A fun night out!

A must-see if you're in the bear lake area. We saw a Juanito Bandito show, and it was just spectacular. Great dancing, singing, and quality humor. I really appreciated the good values that made this show also great for kids. Next year, I'll definitely be returning to pickleville.

I just love coming to shows here, especially the Juanito Bandito ones. The actors and actresses are amazing, along with the oiano player. I've come to a bunch of shows in the past few years and am always amazed at how well the do. The songs are amazing. They always put on a great show.
