This was so lovely, staff are extremely helpful and kind, the food was very nice even though there was just one vegetarian option as main, the pools were fantastic to be in and there are so many options to choose from, made me feel like I was on holiday in Spain or somewhere(was lucky enough to have perfect weather too). Definitely worth a visit to anyone wanting to break away from the daily grind...

We love Nirvana Spa, its beautiful, immaculately clean, great service always. We have had our membership over a year now and are very happy.
We take out out of town guests and friends who also think its quite an impressive place. We find it incredibly relaxing and restorative. They also have a wonderful healthy menu or salad bar which also includes hot food.
Looking forward to a very long membership!

I have been to a large number of spas before but never experienced one so horribly overcrowded. We chose to come in the summer so we could spend time outside but even at noon/1pm there was not one lounger without towels on it. Even though there was nobody on most of them - presumably they had gone off to use other facilities or have lunch selfishly leaving their towels there. The situation was exactly the same all afternoon - and even worse as at one time the number of people in the pool was so numerous that they were standing shoulder to shoulder - it was like blackpool beach on a sunny bank holiday. So very downmarket. The management is at fault here - they should go around taking towels off empty beds. They should also fold new ones onto the now empty beds as they do at more upmarket spas. And they should of course never have allowed this many people to be on the premises. By the end of the day other communal areas were overfull too. It all felt very like a public baths. I believe the spa should limit the numbers as it is quite patently trying to cram in as many people as possible to make as much money as possible. We also had afternoon tea which we could not finish but were not allowed to take away the remaining items even though we were then leaving the premises. Petty. No shampoo in showers - just combination shower/hair wash. Conditioner did not remove tangles at all. I could go on. All in all a very sub average spa visit not worth the money.

Megi (daughter) and I spent the day at Nirvana. It was the perfect relaxing / bonding time for us the day before she went off travelling. Buffet lunch was delicious again . Robes and towels fluffy as always. Whole facility delightful. I will be back next week with a friend for sure.

Amazing facilities, good treatments (I had a Swedish full body massage which was OK but not one of the best I'd ever had), really recommended to relax and enjoy the various rooms all year round, especially the floatation experience. Food was very healthy and tasty. Staff is very helpful and friendly, I was impressed in particular by the welcome. Gym had some of the best equipment I've used so far, like the x-trainers with apps such as Netflix. I absolutely want to go back sooner rather than later!!!

Great day out relaxing and luxuriating in warm pools, steam room, sauna and Dead Sea flotation pool. Facilities and staff are all first rate and the food top notch - if a little pricey. Overall the price is high - so it s more of a treat than a regular visit - but once you get over that it s a superior day out. Recommended.

I can't fault this place. The new extension "The Coliseum" is stunning. Myself and my wife had a treatment called Rasul which is a mudtastic experience. Food from the buffet is wonderful, staff are friendly. It wss our 2nd visit and we will definately be back..real soon.
Luv it!!...I'd give more stars if they were available

Truly an amazing experience, I heartily recommend taking one's better half there for a spa day or evening.

The staff on call are very helpful and informative. We have never before been to a spa and didn't know at all what to expect, and they explained in detail what we will need to have on the day, what facilities are available and what is included in our package. The staff on reception showed us a map of the complex (which is also available online), and listed the key points of interest that they would recommend to us.

We went for the latter in late October, which was a great choice, nothing beats an outdoor jacuzzi on a chilly evening! The included meal was great, there's plenty of dishes to choose from for various dietary requirements. Our package also included a head massage which was the most relaxing experience we ever had. We barely managed to visit all of the pools during the time we had, having spent most of our time outdoors.

It was really amazing, we will definitely be coming back!

Treat from brother for 40th and his B'day. Such a gorgeous Spa. PPE in place. I can't swim so I struggled in the Celestial Floatation the lady that was giving our induction was amazing and really calming. Sauna was closed due to current climate so we were able to use the Dead Sea Salt Therapy Pool for free which I eventually felt super comfortable in and loved! Such a great way to relax, unwind and have a beautiful change of scenery. Food was lovely - only downfall for me was that I had asked if they could add a Happy Birthday message on a cake we ordered for my brother but was told this has to be organised in advance. Thought it would have been quite easy to just write a message on a plate. Just a heads up if you want to organise something like that, plan ahead. 100% would recommend though! A pure blissful day!

I ve been a loyal member of Nivarna for the last few years however my past 2 visits have been extreamly disappointing!
The new pool is cold and fairly boring to be completely honest! Due to the opening of the new pool, they are clearly allowing far too many people in at once to the spa. Changing rooms were dirty. The reception desk and restaurant can not cope. We waited 20 mins for someone to take our drinks order after repeatedly asking and then we d already finished eating by the time our bottle of Prosecco arrived! The young staff try very hard but there are not enough of them and there is little sign of direction from management! Really sad to see it going downhill.

Although i love this place ...what is the point of being a member when you hardly can ever get in at the weekend . i have tried three times recently at the weekend to get in with three weeks notice . nothing .
I think there are too many memberships maybe and that's why I can hardly ever get in.

Had a really great time. The new pool and surrounding lounger area is quite impressive. Facilities were well maintained and really enjoyed the flotation experience which I highly recommend, particularly considering the low additional cost to do it. Well done Nirvana!

My mum and I had been looking forward to this spa visit for many months. It was a birthday treat and we had been saving points for six months to go and celebrate the special occasion. When we arrived went straight to the swim lanes machines. I had been dying to try these out as I am a keen swimmer, so was excited by this new experience. However when we got to that area it was all closed off. Not only this but the Jacuzzi was as well. We went to reception and they explained that it was all closed for the whole day for maintenance. This was so disappointing to us as it had been one of the main reasons of mine to come specifically to Nirvana.
Looking at the map we saw the only other Jacuzzis were outside. Braving the cold we attempted to find these, only to find these were also all closed due to maintenance.
I understand that work needs to be carried out, however it would have been thoughtful of the Spa to at least either send out an email to customers to notify us of the closure, and give us the option to rebook on another day. Or even let us now upon arrival when we checked in at reception, rather than having to wonder around finding out for ourselves.
There were also other irritating things that happened throughout the day as well. It was extremely busy and so we could not find lockers in the first changing room and had to walk to secondary one with all our bags while in our robes, we could not find beds together around the pool and the costume dryer not working. Unfortunately it made us feel that standards had dropped and made the day not so enjoyable as we had hoped.
My mother was very disappointed and wrote to the spa concerning this. She received a response from the Spa to say sorry for your disappointment however they are not willing to issue any kind of a refund. I understand that some issues cannot be helped in businesses like this but would have hoped for price of the experience and the amount of people there on the day, some sort of understanding and compensation could be offered.

A bit tricky to get to (local roads are a bit winding and narrow in places) but well worth it. Fantastic facilities that genuinely do lead to a day of relaxation. There s a particular place (The Tepidarium) which is quite amazing so peaceful, warm and relaxing, I challenge you not to fall asleep in there!
Really good food on offer too, I would recommend going for the buffet which seems very good value for money and caters for all dietary requirements.

Always love going to Nirvana for some time away from it all. Was particularly impressed by the covid measures they had put in place and the staff were all doing a great job to ensure everything was as safe and pleasant as possible. Its also much nicer currently with less people due to restricted visitor numbers compared to previously when there were lots of day guests.

One of the best spas in the country, clearly reflected in the prices.

The rasul for two package is good fun if you are going with a friend or spouse, as you have a little moment for just the two of you. That said, having tried some of their treatments, would happily recommend their masseuse and staff.

The floatation pool is wonderful because it's a large pool rather than enclosed space, as long as you don't mind sharing some of the space with others.

The all you can eat salad buffet does include hot food, so well worth it if you want a large lunch. However most of the menu is worth trying, if (again) a little pricey.

The non-heated outdoor pool also have four heated hot tubs around it, ensuring you have some outdoor space all year round.

A truly special relaxing space but at the daily price, for special occasions only.

I've been a member since 2003 and just love it. Mostly here on my own to swim a lot and chill out but i also love to bring friends and family for a fab night out. Food... the salad bar has an amazing selection and is always different and good value. Sometimes minor issues.. as with anywhere... but easily solved. I will never leave... I just love my time here too much!!
