Took over 2 weeks to print and process 2 rolls of 35mm film, and my order was only done because I went back to the store TWICE to ask when my prints were expected to be done. Employees were not upfront or realistic with expected processing time when I dropped off or when I went back to ask about the prints if they had told me it would take over 2 weeks, I would ve gone elsewhere. Will not be being my business here again.
I got passport photos made. Fast prints but below average photographer: too much headspace, improperly color balanced, not enough light. Also, the person at the desk handling business didn't know details about their rates, and even when asked didn't bother to check.
Excellent service, great prices and fast prints from film.
Great customer service, very knowledgable, fine products. Better prices can be found online while compromising personal touch
i never write bad reviews but BOY does this place infuriate me. tried getting some b+w film developed, paid upfront on july 6th, and STILL haven t received my film. they are super inconsistent with communication. one person says b+w film takes 2 weeks to develop and when it s been well over 2 weeks, another says their scanner is broken! i know times are rough but just BE HONEST! indie got my b+w film done in 4 days! super unfortunate because i know they re nice people, just really bad at running a business. anyways, if you need your film developed in a timely fashion, don t go here
I love this place! Nick was extremely helpful! I needed a picture printed in a certain size and he made it happen! I highly recommended this place. Emily was helpful as well!! Great quality pictures! Thanks PhotoLounge!
My absolute favorite place to get high quality photos printed.
I went here to get headshot photos. They did a great job, and got the processed digital photos back to me by the end of the day. The price was very reasonable as well.
A great place in the rittenhouse area to drop off film to be developed or to purchase an old 35mm film camera. Photolounge also provides many other photo related services.
Wanted to do a couple rolls with them before leaving a review. Honestly, I can say that they are amazing at what they do! I usually send 3 rolls in at a time and as soon as they receive it, I get the scanned images back 1-2 days later.
Visited this place to get passport photos with Canadian specifications and was very happy with the service provided. The photographer was very professional and also very patient while capturing a picture of my daughter. Overall a very pleasant experience.
The absolute best photo digital operation with the nicest intelligent staff. I have been glad to enjoy PhotoLounge's professional services since PhotoLounge opened for business. A real treasure for the photo digitally challenged like me.
I dropped off two rolls of 35mm black and white film three months ago - after they reopened for COVID, and have been in contact with them every week since. Every week they tell me the film should be done by week's end. Now they aren't even picking up the phone anymore. Terrible customer service, at this point I would just like the rolls of film back and a refund. DO NOT USE PHOTO LOUNGE to get your film developed unless you are willing to wait literal months for a service that typically should take a single week. Quite disappointed, especially given that the payment was upfront - at this point they have both my money and my undeveloped rolls, and I am unable to get in contact with them. Choosing Photo Lounge was an unequivocal mistake, one I will not repeat, and I advise you to do the same.
Kind of pricey, the scans they send you aren't labeled well and the turn around time was murky
I've been going to them for a while now and really appreciate the work they do. The staff is always friendly and willing to troubleshoot a problem. This comes in handy a lot since development and uploads tend to be incomplete and some times a little tardy. Having said that this is still my photo place! The prints I have gotten from them are absolutely flawless (I love their 8x10 work).
Great customer service & my photos always turn out so well.
took them two days to develop a roll , and then they sent me the wrong files.
The staff was friendly but I ended up paying a bunch of money for blurry visa pictures taken on an amateur photography setup. Maybe they're good for printing but I'd recommend getting important pictures taken elsewhere.
Best photo printing experience ever! I give this place 10 stars. Customer service on point! Breath of fresh customer service air! Kelvin and the team made me feel comfortable.
Bad place and terrible service.
The photo is not qualified and completely a waste of my time and money. Have to redo it again in other place.
My favorite photo store in the city! Having my developed photos uploaded directly to Dropbox is so convenient.
Initially thought this place would be good, but they have now held videotapes that they were converting to digital for over a month and two weeks overdue without explanation. My follow up calls have elicited a response that the manager will get in touch with me, but that call has not come. There is something wrong here.
Professional work and fast service. Recommended !!!
This is one of the best photo places to go two in Philly I'm always telling people this is where you want two go four all your photo needs the staff is great two and very knowledge!
Very charming guy helped me out today. Wonderful service. I didn't recognize the bike courier that worked with them and thought I was allowed to go in (I wasn't allowed to until they were done with their current customer. They only allow one at a time which is wonderful)They were still very nice to me, patient and explained everything that was going on with the film. Only giving them 4 stars because the last time I was there the lady in the front was very cold and pretentious.
Nick became my brotha from anotha motha! after being so helpful. I am from Washington state visiting for work and needed a couple rolls of black and white film. Without hesitation, Nick recommended some film I hadn t tried and kept friendly insightful discourse the entire time. Before he helped me, he was assisting an elderly gentleman with an important project. I was impressed with the thought and care he put into this man s needs, making sure he was happy and squared away just like myself! I will definitely be back if I return to the area again. And for you folks local to Philly, this should be your shop for life.
Photo lounge is hands down the best place for passport photos in philadelphia; very professional, fast service at a very reasonable cost. ( They also email you a digital copy of your photos) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
These people are very nice and accommodating. It is always a pleasure going in there even when I don't know what I am doing. They are helpful and have good suggestions and do good work.
PhotoLounge was highly recommend. I had a single roll of 35mm developed, scanned and printed, I was seriously disappointed in their services. First- I was sent someone else photos via Dropbox. After they corrected the mistake I was then sent a link that only had 1/2 of my scans. The third link had most of my photos but were completely out of order. Last but not least the physical prints were on the thinnest paper and all negatives were just tossed in an envelope.
Very quick turnaround on prints when you use the MobiLab app. The employees are friendly too.
Excellent, individualized and prompt customer service, could not ask for better! Super helpful and knowledgeable staff about all sorts of photographic needs. I got what I needed in a very brief amount of time with no hassle.
They develop and scan my film now that my mail-in photo lab has closed. It costs more but they get the job done
ridiculously slow service, and hard to reach to resolve issues due to their incompetence. i dropped pictures off on a friday expecting them on wednesday. its wednesday and after calling three times i have STILL not received my pictures even though they advertise same day development (mon-thurs)! incredible!
Super courteous and helpful. I have been all over the city looking for a place that will do a proper Canadian passport photo (including the stamp on the back). Great staff and environment as well!
Super friendly staff. Prints are great and they use archival paper. There's no point in using CVS for prints ever again. Their online app works perfectly
I've never written a review before but now I'm writing one because the staff really took the time to help me with something yesterday that saved me a lot of money. This has been a pretty consistent experience for me. Sometimes they have equipment issues & get backed up/overwhelmed, but they're a small business and I think any unexpected delays are more than made up for by the staff's helpfulness. Sometimes I'm like, wow y'all could have easily tricked me into spending a lot of money!!! But you didn't!!!!!!!! My scans also always look great, and 99% of the time I get them back the next day. If you're consistently getting 35mm film processed, I really recommend photolounge.
I recently had some trouble retrieving my wedding photos from a memory card that was incompatible with the reader I had. I stopped in the photo lounge and they were able to help me out! They let me use their computer/card reader to upload the photos to my google drive, which saved me time and money! Employee Nick was particularly helpful! I will definitely shop there for any future photo needs. Thanks Photo Lounge!
I've had many prints made here over the last year, and the quality has always been very good, with quick turnaround times and generally good customer service.
Great store, especially for us old school film photogs. Ask for Andrew. Very very helpful and knowledgeable.
Excellent photo processing and used camera retail store.
