These guys SUCK.
After 5 tries, I m comfortable writing a negative review. Four laptops (one that took 2 months to get back after they misplaced it) were dropped off, 3 were deemed junk and a waiver of disposal fees was granted. An IPhone 5s with a cracked screen.. 13 weeks they had it (old phone fixed to have as back-up) and forgot/lost it.. they ended up finding and repairing the glass which fell out when it fell two feet onto laminate flooring..
iPhone 6S Plus screen repair.. 104.00. Cracked screen.. worked fine but screen was a bother. We were eating at Gino s and thought it would be convenient to have the phone repaired. The guy told me it would be 15-20 minutes. It took 1.5 hours. There was definitely more jaw jacking than working going on. When the guy finally came out, he said he would waive the additional cleaning fee... however, the home button no longer worked for Touch ID. He also gave me a free screen protector and installed it (which I took off because there was a bubble in the middle 1:45 of the SuperDome, 2 sizes too small for the screen). Most importantly, the screen is WORSE than before I brought it in. Please note, I did not give them a chance to rectify the situation with complaints. Each time I was hoping it was a mistake but the same people are there every time.. no new employee hurdles to cross.
They now charge top dollar and have NO idea what they are doing as far as my experiences. Spend an extra 10-20 bucks and go to a real store.

Great place! They are fast, efficient, willing to give you multiple options for your repairs. While they are fixing if they even notice the slightest issue they will let you know. They won't just go fix what you ask and leave without letting you know of other possible issues. Friendly staff, amazing atmosphere.

Went to have my phone charging port cleaned. They did it for free! Phone charged amazing after. Very nice and awesome staff

The phone repair guy is the best. He always gives you the best service at the best price and is 100% honest. Wonderful at his job. :)

They replaced a battery on my Pixel 1, Even after quality issues with the battery they still ordered more and made sure that my phone was good to go!!

Sent it in with a huge crack over the whole screen, 40 mins later it s fully repaired and they threw in a free screen protector

I strongly wouldn't recommend using this business for fixing broken screens. After getting my iPhone 6s screen fixed I immediately noticed that the glass used was of low quality. Whenever I tried to type, the keyboard would either just not type or type the completely wrong letter than what I had pressed. Additionally, my phone started glitching like crazy after getting the screen repaired. The second day after I got my phone fixed the glass broke after dropping it 2 inches onto a carpeted ground. I proceeded to go into the store explaining everything explained above and there was no level of customer service. The person I spoke to said there was nothing he could do and the best they could do would give my 10% off of getting a new screen repaired again. I will never waste my money here again after having such a bad experience at Midwest Komputers.

I highly recommend this place. The two guys who work there, Sam and Tom, seem knowledgeable, service was quick, and prices were fair.

I came in for water-damage on an iPhone. Sam did the diagnostics right away and it turned out the damage was irreparable (I waited too long before coming in, so the water had damaged a component that would cost >$300 to replace). He told me my options would be to spend the ~$300 to repair this old phone or put it towards buying a new one. I decided to just buy a new phone, and he ended up waiving half my diagnostics fee.
I needed help with the new phone a couple of times afterwards and both guys were very helpful.
I ended up buying a Pixel 3, and the easiest way to transfer is using the iPhone-to-Pixel cable. Since my iPhone was dead, they let me use one of their iPhones so I could load my data from cloud to their store iPhone and then do the iPhone-to-Pixel data transfer. Photo transfer was wireless but it took a long while. They let the iPhone sit unused as it transferred my data over the 2 days it took to complete. I had to come back in and grabbed some data that didn t transfer automatically, and all the time both Sam and Tom were very patient. They didn t charge me extra at all. I only every paid for that half diagnostics fee.
Overall very satisfied.

Ricky was amazing! I called this place as I was walking Out of the Apple Store down the road where they told me my Mac was totaled, & that there was no way they could get any files off it. They told me to go home & pull out my hard drive myself, in preparation for getting the new computer which they said would be necessary. Ricky Told me over the phone before I even showed up with my computer that he could get me the EXTREMELY important and time sensitive document off my computer that Apple said they could not retrieve. Within minutes, he had pulled up my hard drive on the store s computer, and we had the document I needed and many others on a flash drive which is now safely in my pocket.He cleaned out my phone s port at no charge, cleaned out another guy s phone when he came in as I was standing there for no charge, And explained everything. I will be coming to these guys instead of Apple first with future computer questions In the future. Thank God the culture of repairing expensive equipment Has not died completely. He tried a quick in-store clean out of the interior of the MacBookJust in case My issue could be resolved simply, and when I did not work, I felt totally comfortable leaving my computer in his competent hands. They have a really fair policy of an affordable diagnostic fee for the tests they well run to identify my computers problem, and this fee will be waived if there is a fixable solution.

When I told him about a completely unrelated incident in which I had been hacked, with a few strokes of the keyboard he pulled up my email and was able to tell me the five websites where my email was registered that had been Hacked over the years and exactly when they were hacked. He gave me a print outOf these websites.

This Was personalized, expert, reliable service that yielded instant results, and simply blew every experience I have had with the Apple Store out of the water.

I really needed a small fan for my processor to finish a project over the weekend. Midwest offers parts and service of electronics. They saved my life! Awesome experience
