How is it possible for Microsoft offer tech support with representatives in "tech support" without the proper training when customers have a tech issue??? I literally spent 4 hrs yesterday on the phone bounced from one "tech" support department to the next for an issue with Outlook. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE I spoke with was clueless. Even when I spoke with someone specifically in what I was told was tech support for Outlook, they still had no idea how to resolve my issue. Wonder if Mr. Gates knows how horrific Microsoft tech support is and how ill-trained their reps are...probably not. Unacceptable for a software company.

I bought a Microsoft surface pro 2 for over $1300 maybe two years ago. Six months ago I cracked the screen on it and paid $350 for a replacement unit. The battery on the replacement unit is now defective and needs replacement. Cost? $480.I was unable to get my issue resolved thru tech support. When I finally got a hold of someone at Microsoft corporate office they were wonderful. Very attentive and follow up was great. I am glad some corporations still take the time to listen to consumers. Problem solved and I am satisfied with the resolution

A fun and educational visit. The MS store sells games, souvenirs, clothings, etc., demo stations with dedicated persons to explain, educate and sell. Across the store, there is small conference theatre type sitting, and next to that the digital media displays with demos.
Parking is scarce depending on the time of day.
There is a small cafe inside.
Quite an enjoyable visit.

The Microsoft welcome center is pretty cool! It takes you on a self tour of the company and has stations with xboxs and other Microsoft technologies to try. They have a store across from it with tons of Microsoft gear and gadgets. There isn't a whole lot more to do besides walk the campus, but I had a great time.
