I agree with you Mel Lee. They are the most unprofessional recruitment agency. I had a similar situation with re: to an appointment with no follow up on confirmation. A consultant s response to that was it was my job as a potential candidate to follow it up. In other words, it s my job to their job.

Their interview process bordered on bullying. Very aggressive behavior was demonstrated by the two consultants I had my interview with.

In my opinion, the agency lacks basic industry knowledge, and, further, doesn t understand the meaning of words such as customer service , and the delivery of it. Beats me how the agency is still around.

Note to consultants: Work experience 101 - customer service is the first skill you learn in one s first job role. Learn it and use it!! so that work experience synopsis advertised on website doesn t look fraudulent.

Worst company to deal with, EVER! Rude consultants that don't get back to you and organise interviews with you but don't follow through with the details. You would think that if you were not a suitable applicant, in the industry they are in, they can just tell you how it is. Instead, they organise an interview, but never send the confirmation email. Addtionally, they re advertised the job and this was how I found out I was not required. I am no stranger to disappointment but common courtesy goes along way. Perhaps the worst part was when I rang and pointed this out in a firm and direct manner (not rude and no raised voice), I was attacked by the consultant. If this is how they treat people and how they respond to criticism, why would you want to use them to find you your next employee.

I applied for a role advertised through Marshall McAdams, and Rachel Morton got in touch me immediately and organized an interview and I secured the role within two days of applying for the role. Not only that Rachel was extremely good in responding quickly, she has conducted the interview professionally and her knowledge of the industries, the roles and matching candidates for the right role is invaluable. I have dealt with other agents and Rachel s knowledge, approach and professionalisim puts her on the top 5 percentile of recruitment consultants. After my placement she kept in touch with me to ensure I was happy with the role and had given me advice that helped me to succeed.
