This place holds the honour of serving me the worst beer I have ever had In my 71 years. However the steak sandwich was great.

Pleasant staff lunch was good, with lots of choices. Food came quickly. Good view from the large verandah. Historic building. Biker friendly.

Nice cold beer. Fairly good meals, happy friendly staff and plenty of seating inside and outside.

Lovely country pub. Good old fashioned service and atmosphere. Stopped in for dinner - traditional pub faves, good steak, chips and salad large serve and delicious.

So really disappointed, came here on father's and my brothers birthday. Waited over 50 minutes only to find they have lost our docket which is fair enough understable but the fact that instead of giving us a free meal or drinks for the long wait be were expected to pay full price, and when we said we were disappointed she didnt seem to care that we would or wouldnt come back
As a person who runs a cafe i work so hard on making all my customers happy but never would i ever say to them 'yeah thats fine you dont have to come back thats fine'
Otherwise i would get bad reviews like this, is all about customer service.

I'd be comfortable saying I had the best calamari I've ever had here. It was so succulent with a very light coating. So very fresh and such am ample helping for a very reasonable price. Very much hitting above their weight for what one would otherwise assume as a sleepy rural pub.

I also had the roast of the day. A tad on the dry side, but I was rocking in at the end of lunch time around 3pm or so and it did have enough gravy to help counter this.

Staff were friendly, meals were very promptly delivered and the view across the road and breeze were both most pleasant.

Props to the staff and kitchen for providing a meal and atmosphere that was exceptionally good by any means, particularly as it was eeking out the end of lunch time after presumably a long day.

NOTE: Sorry no photo of the calamari. It was a share entree and didn't really want to be one of those people that photographs all their meals. All I can say is the entree size is a decent meal size and well worth it.

Haven't called into the Mapleton Pub for a number of years so thought we would give it a go as they have always served good food in the past. Our meals were excellent! Homemade burger pattie on the hamburger alongside delicious sauce, crispy chips & yummy lemon lime bitters for a drink- couldn't go wrong. My partner tried the steak sandwich & said it was one of the best he had had.

Great view from the veranda and staff were really friendly. We enjoyed the food and a good range of drinks available.

I always visit Mapleton Tavern when visiting the Sunshine Coast. Great food on the deck overlooking the whole coast.

Great view, parmy was lacking in size but the price was fair

The view is spectacular, but the seafood platter was probably the worst I have ever had. The price is so reasonable that when you get it you realize why...

I asked if I could switch out the battered fish for something grilled. This was apparently not possible. They served up 2 fresh prawns per person that I had to peel and de-poo myself. Tiny little plastic containers with the sauces. Barely enough for half a person let alone 2 people. The oyster was certainly not fresh and every time I burped I felt like I was going to vomit. The chips were dry like cardboard and the battered fish had a very strong fishy and greasy taste.

Staff were rude and unhelpful. Would never go back...

Great pub for lunch or drinks. Excellent and friendly service. Good food, decent prices and, depending on the weather, great views too! Highly recommended

my 2nd visit to this pub and was very dissapointed with the service from this establishment.I had been there a couple of years ago and was ok the service then.the food was not as good and our family waited 1hour an d 30 minutes before recieiving our meals. as other people who had come after us were served. so the kitchen was not working in sequence. and we were not the only ones complaining.

AWESOME views. Lovely old country pub vibe. Great place to sit & enjoy a beer or wine for a break on your Sunday (or ANY day) drive! Meals are on the exp side for what you get, but tasty, & has bottle shop too.

Good pub meals had the mixed grill and was a massive meal could just finish it. The misses had roast of the day and both meals were well priced and big meals. Will come back again

View is outstanding, food is beyond belief for a Tavern. Would have got 5 stars if you had got our order correct.

Outstanding views, good wholesome menu and drinks. Busy at lunchtime on weekends and holidays.

Good food and decent service. Not many seats so suggest calling ahead to book. Day of our visit was rainy/foggy so didn't get to appreciate the stunning view, but still enjoyed our lunches.

Nice view, but the overpriced food was bland and burnt. Service was very slow.

You could waste a sunny arvo on that verandah quite easily.

New Years eve they had a band was ok but Wednesday night had a meal there and were delicious

The outdoor verandah overlooks the hinterland and out to the coast which is very picturesque. The menu is quite basic with pub style food. We did have a nearly 45 minute wait for our lunch which was a little disappointing.

I have seen a few bad reviews on here so I thought I d share my 5 star review! I ve been here a fair few times as my parents used to bring me here, I came last night for a romantic dinner & it was amazing... awesome friendly staff too!

A fantastic country pub with spectacular views of the coast or the cloud if it is raining. The beer is cold and the food is good. Dining on the verandah can be cool even in summer if it is raining so bring a jumper.
Overall a great place to spend an afternoon.

Stopped in here as part of a bridal party, enjoyed a couple of last minute beers before the ceremony.

Horrific. Started with a $1 surcharge on using a credit card on anything under $15. Food was very average. Service even worse. Staff must have turned hostile with all the complaints. Only good thing is the view.

Great views and the staff are nice. The meals are well portioned and reasonably priced. The meals I've had there have been tasty and service has been fast (though they haven't been on busy days). I've been several times and will come back again.

Try to get up here whenever I'm in Oz. Sit on the veranda for a view all the way down to the coral sea (Sunshine Coast)
The food is excellent. Order from the window and bus it yourself. Good stuff.
