Lansing Public Library

i been there when i was 4 in tiny town i met someone in elementary school who work in this library

good to have a library in town that keeps up with current events. though there are a few snotty people working there, you don't have to spend much time suffering them, as the self-checkout is very fast.

This is a beautiful library. They have complimentary coffee, clean bathrooms, and very friendly staff.

I love the Lansing library the staff there is always great and helpful! The place is always clean and quiet. Every time I enter the library I'm greeted with smiles. When I leave the library the staff says have a good day! This makes my heart melt. However, I had a horrible experience today with Sherry I asked for help multiple times. I apologize for asking for help. The first time I asked for help she was talking to a coworker about how to crochet. I kindly waited until she was done talking. I said excuse me can you help me. She couldn't figure it out so, she called the tech guy. He was a huge help! I ask Sherry for her assistance one last time, by the second time she had an attitude, she starting being rude and deleted my school work. I'm in school working towards obtaining my Master's Degree I have been working on this assignment for 4 days I left the library in tears. All my hard work was DELETED by Sherry. She did not apologize or have any sympathy. How would she felt if someone did this to her daughter or granddaughter? I have never had a bad experience the whole 10 yrs I come to this library until today. I'm sad, my eyes hurt and I been crying since I left the library at 11:34 am. I did not have a pleasant experience and I regret asking Sherry for help.

Still one of my favorite libraries! Staff is awesome.

This is a top notch library with knowledgeable staff and a wide ranging collection. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll order it interlibrary. Pleasant and friendly it is a pleasure to visit.

Staff not friendly or accommodating. Back to my old neighborhood library of South Holland where the library is much better and staff is nice.

I love this library! It's clean and beautiful. The staff here are very nice and all around just friendly people. There are a couple kids here though I wish weren't here. Overall, definitely come here. Great books by the way.

This is one of my families favorite places. Great for all ages. Quiet, clean and very friendly staff.
