Great time at the World's First KOA! Close to Yellowstone River with an excellent mini put put golf course! I'm giving 4 stars as the spots were a little close together for the price, the pool and hot tub were closed mid-Sept, and there is no sauna despite their website suggesting otherwise.

Nicest showers and bathrooms, and certain people have to leave soap and razors laying around and mess things. I guess anywhere you go people have little respect for others. The Billings KOA is very nice along with fine workers. Thank you for working so hard. The Logan's Elroy wi.

We are tent campers preferring NFS campgrounds and usually do not stay at KOA. However we needed to get a shower and do laundry. THe tent sites are close together and not too private. THere is a camp kitchen near some of the sites which is helpful. The facilities here are great. There are 4 show...

Beautiful KOA! Tenting. well kept grounds, quiet, green and lush! Best surprise was the beautiful restroom and showers. Individual shower rooms more like a nice hotel than a campground. Good convenience store, pool and mini golf on site. Very comfortable stay... will be back!

I had a reservation for a one-room cabin, which I needed to postpone twice due to car issues. They were very accommodating, which I completely understood once I got there and saw how many cabins they have. Front desk staff was very friendly and the store had most things one would need.

Cabin was ...

VERY FEW FULL HOOKUPS! It is VERY VERY easy to not realize that there not a sewer hookup at MOST of the sites. We mistakenly booked a week here. Also, both campgrounds on this road are OVERPRICED BIG TIME! I'll say one positive, the KOA had good wifi but will try my hardest not to be back.

Great campground if you have kids and just driving through the area. They have a swimming pool and minigolf that kids loved. If you want nature this is not for you, A lot of road noise and overall city sounds. I have to add that they have the nicest bathrooms/ showers that I have seen in 20 years.

There are really only two decent options for large rig RVs to stay in the Billings area, so the law of supply and demand makes for very high rates at both of these campgrounds. The only reason we stayed here in the first place was because we have relatives in the area. The Billings KOA is a very nic...

Cabin and grounds are super clean. Steak & burgers were excellent, breakfast delicious. Fun activities planned for kids. We extended our stay for another night. We usually stay at the C'mon Inn. A lot of bikers here but all was quiet by 10 pm.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful area with lots on amenities and activities. There is a goose 'infestation' so there is goose poop EVERYWHERE, despite the staff's best efforts to stay on top of it. There is a motocross track nearby so be prepared for the noise of that, though it's really ...

The first Koa! This place is brilliant. Best mini golf ever. Pool was heated. Gift shop and well well stocked store. Laundry was cute in its own cabin. Excellent layout our site backed up to a lovely park. Yellowstone river runs behind the park. A large pond I'm told has excellent tadpoles and frog ...

The older side of this original KOA is very tight. For almost $60 a night, I would expect a sewer hookup. Thought it was over priced. It did have a very nice putt-putt course and a nice looking pool and hot tub. There is a BBQ restaurant on site which also seemed very pricey, but we didn't try i...

This is a pricey campground, but it is KOA's headquarters and often full. They have a large variety of campsites and it is a busy place in the office. Best to reserve online and not by phone, since they are often too busy to answer or return calls. Nice trails and the river is easy to get to. Our ...

Really liked this place! Super friendly and helpful staff. The spots are a little tight, but we splurged and got a sight with a patio. They were closer together than some other spots. Friendly people. I had a quiet night sleep in the back near the pond. Pond didn't look good for swimming although I saw some kids trying to fish in it. The amenities were great, miniature golf, swimming etc. but we were packed in like sardines into our pull through camp site.
