Nice pictures taken here..they also tie up with schools

Kaiser is who our elementary school deals with for school pictures. Last year, they tried telling us preschool parents that the preschoolers don t get a yearbook, they only get a class photo. No where on their order form did it say that, or has it ever said that about preschoolers. In fact, I specifically ordered a package just for the yearbook. So after many parents called the school to complain, apparently teachers gave up their yearbooks so the parents that ordered and paid for yearbooks could get theirs. That was last year. I noticed this year the picture form is exactly the same with no mention of preschoolers only getting a class picture instead of a yearbook.

Now this year we have masks and/or face shields. We can expect some funky hairdos because of this. HOWEVER, I would expect that a professional photographer would at least have the knowledge, common sense, decency ...whatever you d like to call it... to make sure that my daughter s hair isn t sticking straight up before taking the picture. She literally looks like someone came up and messed her hair up (after removing her face shield). And you re telling me the photographer couldn t have just pasted her hair down?! Now we ll have to do retakes but I have no faith that they will be any better seeing that this wasn t addressed the first time. Very disappointed.

Their COVID safe process was a bit frustrating. We walked in at our appointment time but were turned away and told to call a number to get in line. I watched a few people walk in who pulled in after us so I had to call the number again. We didnt go in until 30 mins after our scheduled appointment.
I didnt go for retakes, my daughters school didnt offer pictures this year due to being remote which I told them upon booking, but they had no order forms so we got our picture taken with no way to purchase them. The whole thing seemed sort of disorganized.

Update: Julie called me back and is making every effort to resolve this. Thank you for helping and explaining everything as far as the process and why the photographer cannot prompt a better smile.

I am very upset about my son's 9th grade school pictures. The first set if pictures showed him with his eyes almost closed. We went to the make-up session at the school (no parents going in due to COVID) to replace them and the 2nd pictures turned out worse than the first. I am truly disappointed that the photographer wouldn't take the time to try and correct a crooked, petrified smile/expression since this is the picture for the year book. He took one shot and sent him on his way. Thanks a lot for the lack of professionalism and ZERO attention to detail. You made this whole experience horrible. I don't want these make-up pictures at all. And Julie, who originally helped me, is now ignoring my calls. Perfect.

Sherrie and Marlon were working at Ferndale Upper Elementary with our students this week, and I just want to say that the were very friendly, caring, energetic,pleasant, calming (which helped with the fear and insecurities) and over all professional! It was a pleasure having them!

We used this service for graduation photos in the studio. I have to say the quality is extremely impressive. They showed me the photos on the spot and I didn't like a few so they took extra photos no hassle. Photos were touched up professionally and ready within 2 weeks. We could digitally download a full, high quality photo delivered immediately. The entire process was professional and frictionless. I would highly recommend this group for photos, either professional or family.

They took my son's school photo and it turned out great. Like a mother's worst photo day nightmare, he woke up with a swollen eye that morning and I thought for sure I'd have to have the pictures retaken (his eye still looks a little swollen in the photo but not as bad as I had expected and I did not have any retouching done). Love that they have a digital download available on their website along with a downloadable release. That comes in handy. Lets say you wanted to get the picture printed on a cake, a lot of places will not do this without a release from the photographer. Very happy with this studio, and I hope they continue to do the school portraits at Knudsen.
