I recently got my car broken into and the person who did this smashed the window and took my radio which JR Custom installed. This has nothing to do with JR Custom in fact it was miles away from their location. I took the car back to JR Custom to get a new radio installed. By that time I already got a new window installed. They quoted me the same price as the first installation $350. Which is quite fair as the person who stole my radio also cut a lot of the wiring and broke some of the parts where the radio sits, ect. I come back later and the total bill was completely different. $150. They told me that the work involved was a lot less than they originally thought which is why the price is different. This shows just how honorable they really are. You can not expect this type of honesty from anywhere else. I personally work for an automotive company that I refuse to go to to have work done on my car and they would not have done this. The company that I work for would have charged me $350 if not more just like so many other automotive companies out their, but JR Custom is different. When whoever broke into my car to steal the radio they bent a piece of the door trim to do it. When I got home I realized that JR Custom bent it back right into place. Something I never asked them to do, but they went out of their way to do this for me out of the kindness of their heart. Thank you so much and I of course will be back!

Needed to get some quality upgrades done on a new Jeep. I used JRs several years ago when they make some modifications to my Corvette so I knew they paid attention to detail. Great experience as usual. Gary took care of wheels, calibration, tint and several other upgrades. Quality work all around. Will use them again

These guys were great to work with. Gary didn t oversell me but got me into just what I needed and at a very fair price. I made the selection on one day and was back the next to have it installed. Took less than 1 hour in and out and it looks great! JR has a super cool (and very clean) garage to hang out and browse while you wait. I was referred by a friend and I would recommend to others.

JRS did solid work on my truck. I m the second owner but extremely satisfied. Called for an invoice of all the previous work they d done to it before me and they had it taken care of within 24 hours.

There really good at what they do. But they are some jerks working there. Grand Prairie Audio is just as good and way cooler

I highly recommend JR's Custom Autos to customize your automobile, they did a excellent job in customizing my Jeep Wrangler unlimited, I am very happy with the quality and finish product.

Just added bumper, lights and winch on a Jeep. Gary was very helpful getting me set up with just the right equipment to fit my needs. The process was fast, easy the Jeep looks great.

We were interested in improving the ride in our 2018 Transit van which we use for road trips (about 20K per year) and found JR s as the only Authorized Installer for VB Air Suspensions. We contacted JR and he invited us to ride with him in a van he had just completed and we were sold on the solution.

They verified the inventory was available and it took 1 week to get it in and another week to install it. The team did a great job of sending email updates and following up with a call. Knowing we had trip planned they even stayed late to complete the job on a holiday.

The customer service was excellent and we plan on using them again in the future. After 40 years, they know the business and the customer service makes you feel comfortable with the investment.

I couldn't ask for better service than what I received. I went in looking to buy side bars for my new truck. The gentleman's names that helped me has slipped my memory but he wss great. He showed me the types that were available and which ones he had installed that looked nice. I took his advice and loved them. The bars were ordered on Monday and delivered on Tuesday on about 3 hours. They will definitely be my go to for my auto accessories.

The folks at JR's Custom Auto Service are amazing! I just had an Aluminess roof rack and ladder installed on my extended, high roof, Ford Transit. Everything went perfectly. JR and Aubrey took care of getting everything ordered and delivered. When everything arrived, they gave me a call and I drove up from Austin to get the work done. Because I came in from out of town, they got me in and out of the shop in just a couple hours. The shop was spotless. They waiting area was relaxing with a nice, big TV. They even loaned me a car to grab some breakfast. I love the rack. It couldn't have gone better. Thanks!!!

Recently had a Retrax cover put on my truck. This place is top notch. They had my cover in 3 days as promised. Told me install would take 1.5 to 2 hours and sure enough 1.5 hours later it was complete. THIS IS HOW BUSINESS USED TO BE DONE! With JRs it still is. JR did a fantastic job with my jeep. Lift kit, 37s, light bar, light cubes, exhaust, amp steps. I had a minor issue which Stuart took care of promptly. Very professional and high quality work. They kept me up to date and delivered on time. I highly recommend them.

If you want an estimate that's going to be double what anyone else will charge these people are the ones to see. They will go out of there way to show you out the door and smile will doing it. I have no idea why I stop by here sometimes... Maybe to remind myself that there is always a worse place to go. The only joy of this place is being able to play fetch with the black lab they have running around the store. How these people are still in business is beyond me.

Every time I've ever walked into this business if I'm able to even get the attention of the person on the sales floor they are down right insulting... I guess I'm not dressed in clothes that say I spend money. Maybe if I went in wearing a suit and tie they'd act like they care. I'll just go to Bonnie and Clyde auto for my customization needs as they greet you and work with you to make sure you get what you want without making you feel worthless.

Wow and now I'm being belittled by the owner himself, that just goes to show you how much of a lowlife the owner and his business are. Don't worry I won't be back to your pathetic shop when there is so much better out there with reasonable prices that's just as good and better than your workmanship.

Came in to JR s for help on my lift kit on my truck. Got the lift done at another shop, truck was not riding good. Gary helped me out getting some rough country struts for my truck. They guys at JR s did a great install. I m very pleased with the outcome. Will return to purchase items here for my truck.

Prior to my visit, I checked out stores like Car Toys. None of them were up to par with JR s. The owner was very informative and friendly, the staff and the technician did not disappoint either! The finished product was fabulous, and the sound upgrades were on their own tier. Would recommend!

I have used JR s Custom Auto for my last several vehicles. My previous 2019 AMG GT 63 was taken there to get speakers installed. They put a powered JL Audio set up in the truck and it sounded amazing and it looked great too. I didn t want anything that would take away from the original car design. I just got a 2020 S560. They installed the same JL Audio powered subwoofer in the trunk. It sounds even better in this car. These guys do great work!

Update: I had JR's Custom Auto do an upfit to get my van fitted out for taking my two Golden Retrievers and all our gear to dog shows. It turned out wonderfully! They did a great job on the insulation, interior siding and electrical work. The platform for the dog crates and cargo turned out just there way I'd planned. They made several suggestions that I hadn't thought about and that just made it better. My dog shows friends are quite impressed and a bit jealous! I highly recommend this group!

Bought seats and brackets for my 2019 Mercedes Sprinter online and brought them to JR's. They were able to install them with no problem and they look like they were installed by the factory. The install was fair and affordable based on other shops that wanted to charge me almost quadruple what JRs did. They also had safety in mind when installing which meant a lot to me since I will be toting around the family in it on our ski trip. Thank you again for that.
I did not know this but they customize Sprinter and Sprinter type vans so I will definitely be coming back for the outfitting of mine.

JR and his team added air-ride suspension to my 2021.5, Pleasure Way Plateau. Now, it rides like the Motorhomes that have pusher engines (at least that is how it feels to me ). They are true professionals in every sense of the word and have made me a happy camper. I plan to buy new tires there next and then my Jitney will be perfect.

They helped me in a pinch and fixed a flat for me for no charge. Just so I could go find a place that sold my size tires and get me off the side of the road. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!
