A great computor store. Staff is insanley friendly, prices are good, and they really know what there doing. I had a friend who bought a laptop here, and it broke by the time they got home in orange county, CA. they were able to return it there no issue. Keep your receipt, and return it in the time limit and anything goes

Not the place for the Best Buy customers, but good selection for the knowledge computer buyer and system builder. Lots of specialized and niche products. And low prices!

Anything computer? You are at home, they have most of what you need except for autonomous vehicles.

Check out takes FOREVER - I really have no idea why. The people who work there are alright, can't really say anything good or bad about them. Best place to really go, though, to get what you need - that I've found so far.

Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff, a HUGE selection, computer building and repair services out the wazoo, and a coffee shop and excellent specialized grocery store in the same plaza? What more do you want?

Went in today with my boyfriend shopping DIY electronics and was helped by a super friendly guy in a vest. Kudos to him for being so helpful and informative.

Much better prices than Best Buy. I bought ssd memory and external hd paying 30% less.

They have EVERYTHING electronic you could think of and if taking the time to search, you can sometimes find the same product in the clearence section... love this place and the employees are always very helpful! Check out bags cost 10 cents each
.... yea it's only 10 cents but it's the point. To me I look at it as tacky. If I come to your store and spend a bunch of money, the least you can do is give me a bag to carry my purchased items out. But Thanks anyways and keep your 10 cents every trip I go there... I still go back anyways. Still a great place. I Just don't always take a bag... like I said its the point. Thanks.

I purchased DDR4-3200 G.Skill Tridentz RAM open box. The Sales associate disappeared and said I needed to pick it up at the front desk. I drove home, in 2 hours, and go to put the last item into my build and it was the incorrect part that was in the box. I called the customer service line but they said someone will reach out to me. No one has yet to reach out to me. Very disappointed that I drove and wasted a day there after all the good things I heard.

Edit: Everything was resolved yet I had to driver another 2 hours

No one to help you find something even though there are tons of people "working". Consistant "that's not my department" responses.

AMAZING PLACE. The customer service is phenomenal, the people who work there know what they're talking about. Great expertise, and will do what they can to help you. Thank you to all the customer support, cashiers, salespeople, and management who help me everytime I'm there. I refuse to bring my tech purchases to another store. There is nothing like it in more than a hundred mile radius.

UNREAL! I have never dealt with something like this before. I purchased a Dell Inspiron 14R from this location and the computer started malfunctioning literally within a few days. I tried several times to contact the store directly (based off of the below reviews this is an issue that they have been 'trying' to resolve now for MONTHS, honestly, how hard is it to fix your phones, assuming that is really the issue) and was unsuccessful (did so daily, multiple times a day!) After I was unsuccessful with getting someone on the phone I drove to the location (mind you I work in Foxboro) and missed a day of work in an attempt to resolve the issue. When I arrived at the location without even looking at my laptop the service rep said the issue was a hacker. How he could be so absolute in his assessment without looking at my laptop is still a mystery to me. I urge you, do not go there! Unless you are looking for the worst customer support both in store and over the phone, go and pay the extra money at a big box store. At least you'll get the service and someone on the phone EVERY time you call.

Now, just to figure what to do with this useless warranty I paid for!

The staff are not just your run of the mill customer service, but they are fully experts in their field. They themselves are enthusiast and know the minute details about components.

The store itself, is fully stocked. Anything you can need they got it.

Not a bad place to buy tech related items. Has large variety of computer parts and misc items such as TVs, speakers, tablets, printers, etc. Staff is mostly knowledgeable on basic information. They mainly charge to upsell on newest technology and dont seem to care about older builds or helping you find something if you dont have a power house modern gaming computer. Nice to see a brick and mortar speciality computer though. Place stands by their warranties which is always a plus knowing you're covered. Good business will be back if in the area.

Worked with Deneb Scott who suggested 4 products to buy that would meet my family security objectives and I bought 3 of them for now...Deneb is a go-to-guy

Great tech store. Full of MIT/Harvard folks, and lots of the sales staff seem to have a better understanding of the technology landscape than your local Best-Buy would.
Would have gotten five stars if lower prices.

The thing is I have hearing problems and due to mask it was more difficult to catch spoken words. Red was very attentive and was also very patient. My husband and me we were completely satisfied!

Microcenter is the greatest place God has bestowed upon the PC race.

Wish they have more stores. They offer a great selection at great prices.

Sheer foolishness for a pc person. Could spend all your money and not see a quarter of the inventory. Sensory overload. Killer prices, and then they have deals on open boxes and refurbs that are just absurd. I walked out with a logitech 5.1 surround for my setup for 40 bucks.

Not the best location, the building needs work, and the selection could be presented better. Always has what I need, and at a good price that matches and sometimes beats online retailers.

Everything you need to build a computer and more. They have sales on certain things everytime I go there, and not overpriced from what I've noticed. A lot of other things and plenty to look at, apple section, TVs, etc. Staff is always helpful and not trying upsale you. Need quality in service and gear here's your place and it is about 1hr 20min away 2 hr with traffic from where I am.

I use to love microcenter, but now, I don't know, its ok if microcenter only focus on PC's and please do so if thats the case. BUT they also have isles of cables and adapters and what not. Everytime I go there, they don't have it, and the answer is always..."I never seen something like that, and if it exist, it probably cost alot". SOOOOOOO I guess you guys don't have it? All I am asking for a USB3 extension cord and yet, that was the answer I got. I ultimately had to order from Amazon. Micro Center has become another Best Buy where they go...."ooh yeah, thats a online only item, want use to order it for you?"

1st off i dont write reviews as i really dont care, but i HAD to write about my experience with this particular Microcenter so I brought a Toshiba Satellite Click 2 from the Boston Cambridge store ON 10/10/15, for school, got it home open it so I can do some homework, and find that the screen was cracked, so I called the store, which toke me FOREVER! So finally someone answered the phone, explained the situation is, and the woman basically told me I am stuck with a cracked screen computer which I can't even use, cause it's touch screen and since it cracked it goes crazy, and I can't even operate it, so now I am stuck with a $300 paper weight I can't even use. I am VERY ANGRY and disappointed with you so thank very much Microcenter, I've been going there for years but I won't be going there any longer, I'll shopping online from now on.

I'm so glad I work close to this Microcenter. As a huge nerd, I just walk through here every so often just to look at stuff. I have probably spent thousands in their DIY section on Raspberry Pi stuff over the years. Will continue to go back.

Sellers agressive, but non better place for electronic

Amazing. This Monday work printer stopped working. Found and reserved a new on on their website, went to the store after work to pay, walk out with a new printer in less than 5 minutes. Well, technically, a nice guy from the store brought the printer out for me.
I just love Micro Center and never had a bad experience here in the last... oh gosh. 20 year.

I have been shopping at microcenter for what I believe is now 10 years... Always enjoyed their wide breadth of products. Love the open box specials, great selection of literature, always friendly and helpful staff any time I have ever been there. Even if the person is not the right person for my question they at least try to help or try to find someone that knows what I am talking about. Really couldnt be a better computer store at this size with this many options.

If you check out my review from the same date as this posting but at the Best Buy in Saugus it will give you some content.

I had some issues today but likely I came here they got my stuff relatively quickly and I found out their extended warranties are significantly cheaper than Best Buy.

Everyone here was professional and they were very courteous in helping me and my wife out.

They had the full selection of ifixit toolkits to choose from, great!

Worth the drive to get ANYTHING I need for my pc. Love the price matching, and the fact that you can ask employees anything and they help you/explain something, PLUS some. I've never had a bad experience at this store

Horrible customerservic sold me a malfunctioning motherboard then when I tried to return it they refused and they wouldn't even give me 20$ store credit never shopping here again the only reason they deserve a star is because the sell balls energy drinks

Good prices on a lot of merch. Wish it didn't feel like it was stuck in the 90's aesthetically. Sales staff is mildly knowledgeable at best. They seem more interested in slapping their stickers on the stuff you're buying.

So I was excited to go to microcenter. Haven't been there in years. Walked in and saw some associates standing there so I asked them about a CPU I wanted to take a look at, the guy gave me a sheet and walked me over to the CPU case. Great I asked him if there was any promos going on, he said there was a $30 off Mobo and CPU promo, also good. I looked at the Mobo I wanted and said it's cheaper on Newegg can you price match it? He said we cannot price match with the promo you would have to buy them separately the Mobo was listed for $119 and Newegg had it for $84, this didn't really make sense. Why would you price match the product then not apply the bundle discount? But whatever I walked around with a case and the Mobo and NVME drive in my basket looking at the GPUs I asked if they had the game codes with the rtx GPU They said no. Ok?? Newegg still had the promo going on, so I asked if I could get a discount on the GPU to replace the game codes I would have to buy, and they also said no. After that I walked around with no help from the associates what so ever, but the moment I saw one they put those stickers that said who sold them on it.

Frustrated not at the fact I didn't get a discount on my GPU or that they wouldn't price match, but at the fact that they barely helped and just popped the stickers on there every time I put a item in my cart.

So I put all the items in my cart back on the shelves asking the associates if they wanted me to take off the extra stickers, They said pretty much "whatever" and I left. Not a dollar spent and I traveled 45 minutes to get there.

Not the experience I was hoping for at Micro Center, I have always heard they are great to work with and if there is a promo going on at a competitor they would work with you. I didn't see that today. Disappointed because I would rather spend the money at Micro Center than Newegg.

Great selection..better than regular Microcenter s. Maybe the location near MIT has something to do with it ... Helpful staff who are not over selling. Highly recommended!

The absolute only place you should go to buy CPU/Motherboard combos. Micro Center consistently has the best prices with a fantastic combo discount.

Really great place, they always have everything I need.

Expect an employee will approach you to offer help and expertise - they are well-versed in the products they sell. All the employees I have dealt with will take the time to listen to you and enjoy hearing about what you are working on. If you need more info before you buy, they ask questions that are specific to you to help you find what you need.

And after all that, most items are priced consistently below what you will find on the internet.

Have outfitted my whole restoration shop in software and computers from micro center they always have whatever I need reasonably priced!! One stop shop!
