We spent the weekend at Hotel De Beurs and unfortunately it was anything but good. Worst hotel room I've been in so far. When we arrived at the hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised, as the dining area was cozy and chic, but unfortunately the appearance was deceptive.
At first we got a small, very dark room, which also had dark and old furniture. We also heard clacking noises very quickly that came from the wall and were right at the head of the bed. This was the reason for us to ask the staff for another room, which we got.
Overall, the room was also not nice and especially dirty - a lot of hair in the shower, toothpaste splashed on the door, dirty toilet, holes in the sheets, etc. Slowly our mood darkened, so we went to the hotel staff again and to clean the room have asked. This is what happened, if not too thoroughly. In the end, I looked over the hair in the towel. The reception staff kindly inquired whether we were satisfied.
The only really positive thing I can name is the food. It was nicely presented and tasted good.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone! Our friends, with whom we were there, were anything but enthusiastic. These also sued About dirt in the bathroom (yellow stains on the wall), moldy shower curtain, rubbish in the room and a surcharge of 60 euros for a cot, although this was "actually" included in our offer for the age of the child.
Since we booked through TravelBird, we have in the meantime contacted the organizer and asked for support. TravelBird left us freezing in the rain and got rid of us.
Really a shame for our vacation, we will definitely never visit the hotel again! I seriously wonder how the hotel gets such good reviews ?!
No menu to be found on the website. Have it now .. Go see something else.
Everything perfect! Cozy, very nice staff and the food was great too
Nice corner pub with good outside seating and reasonably inexpensive.
Food a bit on the expensive side for what you get but nice service
The best hotel in my memory. Starting from a very stylish and discreet design, ending with filling the room, there are so many nice buns and necessary details. In such places a human attitude towards people is felt! Thank!
Good value for money to be close to the airport or to visit Amsterdam without paying double in the city
- good welcome
- close to the airport by bus (5 minutes walk and 15 minutes by bus)
- hotel and very quiet area
- easy to get to town (either via the train station which is direct or by bus if it is night)
- correct beds and bathroom
Nice location, friendly staff and good food. Unfortunately the waiter had not seen us coming in so it took a while before he came to take our order
I had a very nice stay in De Beurs! Modern rooms, friendly staff and it is clean and tidy. Good location in the center of Hoofddorp.
A good hotel in the heart of Hoofddorp.
Shuttle service to Schiphol.
Good service, excellent location-next to a huge mall and a windmill
Relatively dirty and spent, at least for 4 stars. But what was the strangest thing is the shower tub next to the bed. Without the possibility of separation.
We had a nice stay with friends. Very friendly staff.
The place looks good and welcoming, it's has a modern look. The rooms feels big, the beds are soft and feel comfortable.
The bathroom looks modern and very clean. Also they provide with lotion for cleaning your hands and for showering.
In the back they have a parking place and for only 3, you can park your car for a day.
Finding the place is also easy.
The lunch was ok but disproportionate to what we got. Really way too expensive!
Good breakfast and good location but rooms are old and maintenance is not good
Very nice staff and very friendly. Large and nicely furnished room. The room was very clean. At the breakfast buffet there was a large selection and the scrambled eggs were z. B. prepared as desired. On the day of arrival, we had a two-course meal with us for dinner. There was a tomato soup and a steak with fries and a salad. We liked it very much
You could park right at the hotel.
There is a large shopping center nearby. So about 10 minutes. on foot.
The hotel is very central. Here are some small examples
The airport is nearby.
It takes about 30 minutes to drive to Amsterdam. with the train.
It takes about 35 minutes to get to Zandvoort by the sea. by car.
We booked through Travelbird.
Relatively small hotel with modern ambience and good breakfast offer.
Beautifully situated, quiet, spacious, clean, well maintained restaurant and homely warm Bar. Center of Hoofddorp large shopping center, perfect connection to Ov, for all regions.
Very clean and recently renovated business section of the hotel gives you a large sized hotel room with a good size bed. Decorated with a particular sense of style that is both modern and retro in feel. A nice Continental breakfast, with cold meats, cheeses, cereal, waffles and a egg station where eggs are made to order. The restaurant food is very good, can recommend their burger. Staff are very friendly and professional. A good place to stay if you need to be near Schipohl airport, or if you have business near Hoofdorp. A good number of restaurants, bars and shops are a short walk away. About 20 mins walk to nearest train station.
Awesome. Delicious food certainly with the monthly offer / theme food
Clean, modern, and everything as you would expect. A very good experience.
Not worth the money old run down hotel, the staff is not very helpful and courteous. My payment was not acknowledged and I was asked pay again very bad service
very poor wifi in the hotel room should be better in this modern time
Very tasty food. Something pricey. Very friendly staff
Quite nice hotel - stayed for one night. It was in the middle of the tulips festivals in and around Amsterdam so hotel rooms at a premium and had to pay premium prices. Tasty food - again quite expensive. 30 via taxi from Schiphol but only 6 by hotel shuttle in the morning. I was taken to the airport by the owner, as the usually driver had a day off. Had a really good chat on the way - after gauging his potential reaction about what I wanted to say and how to say it - I broached the subject of the toilet paper - it was very cheap/nasty/scratchy - I suggested that no matter how good/nice/great something is, you generally remember a negative. Luckily the owner was really receptive to what I'd said and said he'd look into getting some better quality toilet roll - wow!!
The hotel seems to be divided into two parts. A new one, which is fresh and nice. However, the old part is really worn and fresh. Some staff were very nice, others very nonchalant and unpleasant. The hotel charges overpriced and has far too many stars!
Hotel is nice but for a 4 star ot lacks a bit of attention. For one breakfest has no vegetables and only thing warm are boiled eggs. The cutlery was not clean enough. There was not nice smell in my room. You also need to pay attention when entering a bathroom because in some rooms floor of the bathroom is elevated and in some its the other way around so You can either hurt your foot or fall down. The good thing is that You can use neareby fitness with saunas. But the biggest problem is staff. The hotel has an unwritten policy that they charge 15 euros for lost plastic card which is used as a key to the room. Staff is not going to mention this when You chceck in and then the receptionist will tell that they dont need to mention it or write it down. In this case they can charge You whatever amount they want to and as the receptionist said they dont need to prove that this is the cost they need to pay for it. I have been in many hotels no one ever tried to charge anyone for the plastic card and though i agree it is a property of the hotel if the hotel has it as a policy it shuold be specified on the written form You get and signed during check in.
Reservation of a long weekend on hotel.com in April 2020. Unfortunately with the confinement our reservation was canceled and no refund was made by the hotel or by the hotel.com site despite the promise in the conditions cancellation. We had to do the hotel.com site work by calling the hotel managers directly and they refused to reimburse us. No postponement of reservation was offered to us!
we will no longer make reservations with Hotel.com.
Room I got (economy) was small, dirty, old, and I wanted to change it. I got an aunt but had to pay 1600 more. Also the other was dirty and full of dust. The staff were unpleasant (front desk). The breakfast alone was relatively good
The food is really not good enough for a hotel of this level.
Mediocre, okay. Nothing special. Clean, nice staff.
Nice hotel and nice staff, for a short break very well suited
Friendly staff and good hotel. The rooms are a bit dated overall. They had a visit from the taste police a few years ago and they approved it completely.
Of the benefits of very good breakfast, clean bedding, location, of the downsides old and unkempt furniture, however, as the design of the rooms. For one or two nights you can book
Nice rooms, good food, very clean, friendly staff. Good value for money.
Pretty good service, but just average. Rooms were clean, but needed to be updated. Based on that assessment, price is to hight!
Stayed here in the last couple of weeks i.v.m. work. A nice hotel close to the center and many restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well-kept. Large and wonderful shower with enough products and basic necessities (shampoo, conditioner, cotton pads, razor, toothbrush, toothpaste etc.) available. Bed was very nice and soft. Large TV with enough channels. A mini fridge to store some treats as needed. Breakfast also extensive (meats, spreads, cereals, fruit, donuts, muffins, salad etc.) and a fresh egg could also be baked. Nice is that breakfast is ready from 5 o'clock. Ideal for the early risers and it was always quiet in the breakfast room. Reception friendly and helpful. There is also a gym next to the hotel that could be used free of charge. There were also 3 small saunas and a relaxation room here. A nice extra. The hotel also has a restaurant where you can eat, considering the many nice restaurants in the area, I skipped this one.
Easily accessible and free parking. Privacy for meetings could be better.
Hotel room was not cleaned properly, there were still toothpaste residues in the sink, moldy rolls in the wardrobe and another open jar of Jam.
When reporting this sorry here and there but still.
What an impersonal method. If I sit on the terrace for a while, my experience is asked via this route. It feels like stalking. Just asked me when I was still there. Then at least there is a normal interaction.
Nice and friendly hotel in the center of Hoofddorp.
Very good and cosy hotel. The room was a little cold on arrival, but besides that everything else is fine
Decent rooms, the ventilation of the bathroom never stops and makes a lot of noise.
Beautiful bedding.
Was there for a practical course on first aid for children. Did not use the hotel facilities.
Nice hotel, very nice employees. Good solution for the breakfast in the Covid19 lockdown periode!
Good hotel in a beautiful town. Price quality is consistent. Good breakfast.
Nice to have a drink in the hotel bar and then to enjoy the monthly buffet
Great value, spacious rooms, fantastic service, well-situated, parking, decent breakfast. Best rates on hotel s website. Onsite restaurant serves lovely meals. Would ve gained 5 stars with the following improvements - firm bed, better COVID measures
Very, very nice hotel and they even had a place for the dog.
However, only a business room because there is no carpet.
Very nice staff and a great breakfast for little money.
Nothing is wrong with the monthly buffet. The quality is not very good, but the price is there too. The amount you can take is unlimited. The drink, including coffee and tea, is priced at a good price.
Very well received by friendly staff and excellent food, many thanks to all the staff.
