Incredibly kind staff, very welcoming and accommodating! Most definately recommend this unique boutique hotel in the heart of South Beach. The best possible location in addition to very clean and well decorated rooms and overall facilities. If coming back to Miami - this is the place I will stay! Thank you for the great experience!

The actual stay was fine, however, a few months later we received a parking citation from the city of Miami for being parked too long in an area near the hotel. We paid money for valet, just to have them get us a ticket and then obviously the ticket was removed from the windshield so by the time we were notified it went into collections.

Stayed there over the weekend and had a great time. Food is really good. You have to try the rice crispy french toast for sure. The whole staff was super friendly. Close to Ocean Drive and South beach (one block). Great experience and will definitely stay there the next time I go to Miami.

This hotel was amazing! We got a day pass for our last day in Miami before our flight and was surprised to see that they carried L'Occitane products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, etc.) Also the room was very clean and comfy. The hotel was close to South Beach too so you cant go wrong.

Quaint boutique hotel. The staff was very helpful in suggesting local restaurants to try and sites to see. It is in the perfect location. One block from the beach and your room includes two chair rentals on the beach each da. The valet was slow on occasion. Breakfast at hotel restaurant is nice. Rooms are small but clean. It is recently renovated.

The Blue Moon offers a very uneven experience. While the staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel lacks standards that are typical and expected at Marriott properties. The rooms are small and need to be redecorated. While the TV is flat screen it is old, barely flat, and small and very slow to change channels. The phone did not work and there was no hand cream in the room ( said they were waiting for an order). Although we were two, they consistently left towels for one and never left wash clothes without asking. They do have small Keurigs in the room but no access to cream only the terrible powered stuff. Our room, 228 was in a different building from the main building so getting there was convoluted. The elevator is really only to get bags up and down and not for regular use.

The hotel is centrally located on Collins Ave. and the bar is very nice. Even if you are Marriott platinum they only offer a continental breakfast. Lastly, it took one hour to get our car from the valet.

The hotel is clean and staff is very nice. Rooms are small. In a two bed room, we barely had enough space to walk around to the bathroom. But other than that everything was great. Very nice people working there always jumping to help out with any questions or give you recommendations for places to go see or restaurants.

Cons:
-my room was not serviced the entire time I was there
-room is very small and cramped (small boutique hotel)
-sheets on my bed were RIPPED!! And no mattress pad on bed
-dirty outdoor tables at restaurant (crumbs and stains on tablecloth, yet waitress still sat me at the table)
-very small pool (historical boutique hotel so it can t be changed, but nonetheless a con)
-old-school elevator that had an EXPIRED inspection certificate in it
-brought all of this to the attention to three separate people at the front desk and yet was never contacted by a manager

Pros:
-free towels/water/bike rentals/beach chairs with $20 amenity fee
-proximity to beach
-L occitaine bath products
-friendly bellmen

I m a Platinum Elite member of Marriott rewards so I was tremendously let down by a Category 7 hotel in South Beach. Stay elsewhere on your trip to Miami. Edition is nice and the JW s and Ritz properties are well worth the price tag/points.

Highly recommend. The staff were very helpful and polite. It's only a block away from the Ocean Drive. The pool area was beautiful and our room was very clean. Just be aware that you're basically obligated to pay for the valet/parking fee since there is nowhere to park overnight unless you want to keep feeding a meter, it was $40 a night. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Marriott Member: Booked for four nights for Blue Moon Hotel, Autograph Collection, ideally situated in the heart of Miami's South Beach. This hotel did not live up to expectations and certainly did not look anywhere near as upscale and expansive as the photographs led me to believe. Lights did not work in the tiny room, insects crawling throughout, television wasn't working; at times, in-room channel listings advertised to have 61 listing but displays only 43, uncompleted room mini bar, no ice machine and finally incompetent management. I was given a dismissive response and sent on my way by the Area Front Office Manager. Will not be returning.

I simply asked to have my sheets changed. I came back in the room with the same sheets are on the bed. I go to the front front desk to inform them that
the same sheets are still on the bed and they said they will take care of it. On my way back in, i notched that they just sit sheets on my bed emplying i should change when myself. I call the office again and they tell me that he didn't think his bellman would do a job so............ what am i paying to stay here for, for 3 days again???

Blue Moon is a comfortable hideout from the explosion of activity happening just one block away on Ocean Drive. It's quiet, calm and upscale without being too pricey (compared to surrounding hotels). You're greeted with a glass of champaign and a pair of cookies in your room. The rooms are smaller than what most people imagine for hotel rooms, but they come very well equipped with a minifridge, keurig coffee machine, nice bathrooms and a surprisingly affordable minibar. This is an older building with cute Art Deco appeal, but many rooms have been obviously renovated recently. Try to get one facing the pool if you're looking for the quietest location. At the front desk Mark and Bill were very helpful and accommodating, meanwhile Alfredo was always there to greet you and hold the door open. Hit up the bar downstairs for an awesome conversation with the bartender who will give you the best tips about what to do around town. The staff here is top notch!

exquisite place, bar area with terrace, the attentions are out of series, very warm people and with a lot of latin flavor. the food is excellent and if you crave something they will prepare it, regardless of whether it is not on the menu or that it is already late.

Carelessness. This entire hotel comes down to one word, carelessness. This hotels staff does not care to help the guests or make their stay a good one. They are uninterested in working or doing anything of the sort. Requesting simple things such as towels or toilet paper took hours to even be recognized. The experience was unlike any other I have ever had before, in that it was a pain the entire trip. People typically stay at hotels to have things cleaned and taken care of for them, this hotel doesn't accommodate those requests. The price is incredibly unreasonable for what you are receiving in return. Do not bother staying here until things are seriously improved. I do not enjoy leaving negative reviews, I thrive on praising good establishments. This hotel, however, is the exception. I cannot leave potential guests in the dark about the reality of this hotel. There is much better to be discovered!

The hotel is relatively small, but very nice and everyone was very friendly. The hotel bar was closed during our visit for renovation, but from the work you have nothing. When the bar is ready, it will certainly upgrade the hotel. Conclusion: a small but very nice and romantic hotel.

My husband and I took a trip to the Caribbean and wanted to stay a couple nights in Miami on the way back. This hotel was AMAZING! The staff were incredible from the moment we checked in. After a 4 hour flight we were greeted by Chris with a glass of champagne and the extremely nice bell hop took us, while carrying our luggage, to the room. Our first night we wanted to lay low after traveling and the hotel bar was perfect for that. Bartender was extremely friendly, music was great, drinks were reasonably priced. Although this property is not directly on the beach, it's a block away and they have reserved chairs (free of charge) on the beach for guests. The pool isn't huge, but it's truly all you need when there is a beach so close. We didn't have time to use this amenity, but the hotel does offer free bike rentals that looked very nice. Everything is within walking distance. We found the best breakfast spot across the street, along with the best tacos just 5 minutes down the road at Taquiza. Absolutely great value for the price that we paid to stay in Miami. Highly recommend!

This place is really lovely. The decor just puts you in an instant state of calm. The staff is really friendly and attentive. Your steps away from the beach, but you're not in the middle of the crazy. The breakfast menu is pretty great. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very disappointing stay at Blue Moon. We were traveling with our young son and booked a suite so that we could have privacy and not be beholden to a toddler's bed time. The website described the suite as "two rooms" with a "separate master" that was perfect for families. There were limited photos on the site. The "suite" was not two separate rooms and there was zero privacy. Additionally, the decor was not well thought through. There was no dresser so our stuff was everywhere, which just added to the claustrophobic feeling of the small, dark room. We switched hotels after our first night.

STOP CHOOSING THiS HOTEL
We had a worst experience on my anniversary day! My newly unopened Apple Watch series 4 (gift from my hubby) stolen by staff members at the hotel.
when we complained about the issue to the manager Melissa Reiner-she keep on delaying the matter by saying we need time to investigate and then she left a email unable to accept the responsibility for your claim. We apologize for your unpleasant experience . And now they kept my calls on block list.
Is this how you treat a customer? What happened to your norms? Why does Marriott group encourages this type of hotels?

The Hotel is excellent, but above all I want to emphasize the solidarity, the kindness, the selfless containment that Juan gave us. The person who received us very warmly when we arrived at the Hotel.
We had a car accident in Miami and Juan, a wonderful being helped us with everything he could, I have nothing but words of thanks for him, he is a wonderful human being and I congratulate the Hotel that they have contracted a person of that human quality .
Thanks Juan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They literally cancelled my reservation on the day of me traveling to Miami, stating my card was not working. When I offered to give them an alternate card, they then said they overbooked and had water leakage in some of their rooms and that is why they cancelled my reservation. So I was stuck looking for a place to stay in Miami with 2 hours notice.

The hotel is nice. We were given a room on the 2nd floor facing the street. The room was a suite and nice. Big complaint was the noise. Very loud room. We did expess this concern in the morning and they apologized and said the street facing rooms were noisy. We would have liked that info before checking in. The staff were professional and helpful.

Amazing hotel in the middle of the craziness! This place is an oasis from the action but central to everything. We stayed during the middle of spring break as 2 middle aged adults and enjoyed every minute. The bar is great, the rooms are clean and more than enough space. I don't know if Americans think a hotel room should be the size of an apartment based on other reviews but our King room was more than enough space. The pool is nice the staff is awesome and knew us by name for a 3 night stay. Beds are really comfortable and the rooms have a soothing aroma that promotes a good night's sleep after a long day. Would highly recommend.

Hotel in a great location on Collins St. .. bustling Miami Beach .. close to beaches ..
decent room and breakfast, mini pool ...
unwelcoming reception staff; constantly diving on their computers ...
Fortunately, Alfredo and those at the bar .. will have raised the level
In the end, a bit expensive all the same ...

Quite nice, but absolutely overrated. You can have it, you don't have to. It's okay for one night - no longer is possible. The beds are too small - in spite of the booked king size, it actually only turned out to be a queen. The windows are dirty, there is hardly any view and you can clearly hear the street noise. The air conditioning is regulated - it doesn't really get really cold. Very unusual in the US.
