Intimate and innovative Tempio provides modern takes on classic Umbrian cuisine. The staff is young, enthusiastic, and friendly making you feel right at home. The owners Eros and Manuela clearly put a great deal of love and pride into this place and it shows.

I reccomend the Umbrian menu, especially for fans of truffles. Even out of peak season it's fantastic.

The food and experience you get for the price is unbelievable. With a bottle of wine a full dinner for two is less than 80. Expensive, but well under what you would get for the same experience in so many other places.

I had the good fortune of eating here as a young man back in 2006. It made such an impression on me I made a point to return for my honeymoon in 2019. We made reservations for three nights and stuck an extra night in there because we had so much fun.

If you visit Spoleto you must have a meal here! You will remember it for the rest of your life.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Spoleto. The indoor dining room is very welcoming but eating outside is also really pleasant. During the dinner we were kindly offered several complimentary dishes, including a magnificent truffle risotto; in general, all the dishes we tried were very good and presented in a very pleasant way. Local in the center of Spoleto consisting of several rooms and garden, by booking at the last moment we found a place inside the smaller room, despite the initial perplexity, we were very well. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind and the cuisine fantastic, not a dish with a flaw. From my point of view not expensive.

Really beautiful and very intimate place even if it can be small and sometimes narrow. Menu with very interesting and refined courses, with a very particular attention to detail. I highly recommend tasting a little bit of everything to have a truly complete experience. Great service and really prepared and friendly waiters. Cost of dinner really unexpected given the quantity and quality of the food. Dinner for two with 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 desserts and 2 glasses of wine, for a total of 70 euros. Great, I will definitely be back.

I arrived at 10pm after the show of the festival of two worlds, they put me in the inner room it was just me that evening and they were kind to let me sit inside. Unfortunately the two girls continued to fight and raise their voices and go up and down on the mezzanine to make coffee, they became blows upstairs every time they went up and down. I took a good zucchini flower, the selection of cheeses that arrived at the next table were placed in paper cones that were unsuitable for the place, however, the service was commented that was not adequate at all. My glass of red wine was poured from the next table which had a fixed menu and it was so little that they came back after 12 minutes to pour me some. I ordered the pheasant which came on a nice serving plate next to a mini dish with potatoes and green beans that was already on the serving plate. I'm not sure if it was a bit of an evening but I was expecting something completely different.

Fantastic! The restaurant has tables inside, arranged in different rooms that help to have an intimate experience, which on the outside, however, very well cared for, like the inside. The service was impeccable from the moment he greeted us to the moment we left the venue, without exception. All dishes were presented with extreme care and had an excellent taste. Perfect waiting times between one course and another. The final surprise was the price, much lower than the divine quality of the experience. A must for anyone visiting Spoleto, I will definitely be back.

We had a discussion with the restaurant about willingness to welcome children, but since there was a clarification, I have no reason not to believe they were in good faith. The food is very good, on the other hand, we were fairly regular customers. In Spoleto it is certainly one of the best.

I called the restaurant Monday, July 1 at lunch time to reserve a table for last night July 4th at 8.30pm. I was confirmed the reservation, by the way, I think I talked on the phone directly with the owner. In short, when we showed up there, my friend and I, we should have celebrated our birthday with this dinner, we found it CLOSED ..... what a disappointment! And what a lack of seriousness!

Unfortunately, I have to report a negative experience. We were only there for a dessert and accompanying shot and were quite disappointed with the tiny portions and long wait times. The desserts were good enough, but nothing exceptional and had a rather lopsided presentation. The local passito was insignificant, especially considering that we paid 7 per glass for it. But above all, I think there was something wrong with the defrosting of the red fruits of my dessert, because I had a stomach ache for more than a day ... The only positive note is in the kindness of the waitresses, who were not enough to sweeten an inexcusably salty bill: almost 35 for two desserts and two glasses of local passito. A few meters away you can really eat, and without problems with the intestine!

Perfect dinner from the location (on the terrace, on a delightful square in the historic center of Spoleto) to the courteous and attentive but never intrusive service, passing through a tasty Umbrian tasting menu prepared with excellent raw materials, creativity and generosity (the first one: more truffle than pasta! Excellent!) The pork tenderloin in a divine herb crust. Off the menu a mixed appetizer of cold cuts and local cheeses chosen accompanied by excellent homemade compotes and served with truffle eggs and finally homemade ravioli of a rare delicacy. Even the desserts deserved a taste. More than fair prices. It was truly a pleasant discovery. Keep up the good work.

The restaurant is small but very welcoming. Very good food and a good wine list with very honest prices. But the thing we most appreciated was the service. Although we showed up half an hour late and only an hour after closing the restaurant we were served with the utmost care and without haste. My daughter-in-law and I shared a menu and all the dishes were served to us already in separate dishes. My son was the only one who did not take the first one and to keep him from looking at us who ate they still offered him a taste of the former. They immediately brought the baby food to eat even before taking our orders. Really good, congratulations! You really pampered us and this is very true in a world of superficiality and haste. In the center of Spoleto we ate really well very nice location very friendly staff! The really good courses I was very intrigued by the really good unstructured carbonara! In the menu other curious dishes that I will try as soon as I return to Spoleto

It is said that the chef is in the top 100 of Italy. To me of this cook as well as the skill has surprised honesty. For just 35 you can taste a tasting menu including water and 2 excellent glasses of red wine. Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert, even on the second the cook himself came out to make us a sprinkle of pepper on the pork tenderloin. The elegance of the restaurant and the kindness of the staff complete a picture that is already quite positive for him. So far at this low price (low because you eat 1 welcome, 1 starter, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 dessert, coffee, water, 2 wine glasses) I have never eaten so well. Furthermore there is a focus on a customer who frankly did not expect at this price ... Super Recommended!
