This place was my first deep dish pizza, therefore, my review should be taken with a grain of salt. Not having other deep dish pizzas to compare it to, I still felt that it was very good. The pizza was filling and very moist. I didn't feel that it was an overload of cheese and I was able to eat 2 sl...
It was my first time experiencing Chicago deep dish pizza in Chicago. I found it unique to have the meat at the bottom and then the cheese and then the sauce. It was a nice change from the typical Pizza.
It was good pizza but except it was cold. The thing is the manager came and talked to us. But the issue with us was the service was slow like we waited 30 min to get cold pizza. So just to say it is a great pizza if they can serve you hot instead of cold pizza which is what we got.
This place is always busy but it is well worth the wait! Best deep dish pizza (& thin crust too). The bartenders are really friendly and provide relatively quick service even when its busy. A must stop while in Chicago.
A great Chicagoan experience, a real local's place and soooo yummy! Although I'm a tourist there were lots of local people so u can tell it doesn't ged old..! Now I know why everybody from Chicago speaks of the deep dish pizza! We ordered the large size deep dish pizza with spinach, so good! We g...
I'll be the one to be real. Yes, good pizza, but in my opinion, not worth the hour plus wait to get a table and then wait for the pizza to cook. We ordered two pies and at $30 a piece I would think they would be amazing. They were good, but not worth the time or money. Definitely glad we did it,...
Great pizza and great atmosphere. However, it was very full and probably against fire code firing all of us in there that tightly. I asked for a kids menu three separate times and finally had to walk up to the hostess to ask for one, only to be told they don't offer them. This blew me away. Also, th...
tl; dr PRO TIP: If its a weekend, you line up at the "line line" and your friend should line up on the "pre-order pizza line". Both waits should be about an hour/hour and a half and you can save lots of standing around.
I wasn't able to try the food because as a tourist, I got confused. After wai...
After a few not so great experiences with ChicagonDeep Dish Pizzas. I was recommended this place. They stood up to all the build up. I tried the thin crust and the deep dish. Both were really well done. From there tomato sauce to the cheese, from the crust to the toppings. Every bite was to be relis...
Fantastic pizza. I would describe it as a lasagna like pizza. Very, very deep dish, and the flavor was so rich. My husband and I ordered a small and had leftovers!
The signature deep dish pizza takes 45 minutes to cook, so be prepared to wait. But it's sooooo worth it !!! We ordered the small meat lovers'. Delicious!!! 2 of us, we still have half in the fridge!!
Not a bad place to eat, but just learn to be patient. It doesn't matter what day of the week it is, that place will ALWAYS be busy. Also keep in mind that deep dish pizza takes time to make. It's nothing compared to regular pizza.
After waiting an hour for a table, my experience was great. My ser...
1st time in Chicago and wanted to have authentic ChiTown pizza, this place was in walking distance of the Millennium Park so we went for it! Super glad we did, not only was the pizza amazing but so was my waiter, Luis you rock! Waited 30 mins for the deep dish but that is to be expected for this cla...
We have been waiting for our pizza since an hour and half. The reason for delay is they didn t put our ticket in and being Friday afternoon they are busy. And another 25 minutes to get our pizza as they just put in the oven! For such a big name pizza chain that is a very lame excuse. We missed being...
I was pretty dissatisfied and disappointed with this Giordanos. Our pizza was slightly burnt and there wasn't enough sauce on the pizza either. The pizza also lacked its usual flavor. I don't te comment coming to this specific Giordanos, unless all Giordanos are like this now, which would be a trage...
First, Giordano's is not the restaurant to eat at if you are a customer that uses any type of wheelchairs. There is not a section or area used for the hour or so waiting period, so I had to listen to other customers complain about me being in the way and blocking the area during exiting. If I had w...
Quick and great pizza. They have a great way to please crouds fast!! Order the pizza before getting to the table. The pizza takes 1hr to be done. Great service.
Service was great and the pizza was exactly how we ordered it. Great Chicago style deep dish pizza. There's a little bit of a wait due to the time it takes to cook a deep dish.
Located well within walking distance of Millennium Park this is the end-all be-all must have chicago style deep dish pizza. This pizza chain comes highly recommended from locals and tourists alike and for good reason, it was delicious. The pizza comes exactly as advertised, a traditional chicago st...
Got to have it... I order take out every time I'm in town. Definitely call ahead for your takeout or place your order online. Don't forget, there is a separate takeout counter around the corner down the steps.
1 HOUR AND HALF TO WAIT FOR A TO GO PIZZA.? It's not made if gold and is not imported fresh from Italy. 90 minutes , i can go watch a movie, get a hair cut and more and still have time to make a pizza from scratch.
Best pizza ever! Small pizza will be enough for three people! 2 slices u can't eat more than that...we'll probably 3 but it is delicious and u wish to have a bigger stomach to continue eating!!
YUM. Everything is amazing. Get the salad, and when in doubt, get the smaller size of pizza. Trust me. Also, be sure to ask the chefs exactly how much cheese is on one pizza; it's pretty wild! (But don't ask until you're done eating.)
Service was ok, until it came time for our bill. It took longer to pay for the food than it took to get the food. As far as the food, we had the small deep dish. The small is more than enough for two people. The cheese was excellent Wisconsin cheese. However, the pizza crust itself was a littl...
Great local pizza restaurant! The restaurant itself is decorated with nostalgic themes. We came here for the Sunday buffet. The selection of pizza is unlimited, and included in the adult buffet is even one beer or wine. They had dessert pizza and soft-serve ice cream. We will come back and recommend...
Food was good, but there were definitely mice running around on the floor in the restaurant. We alerted the staff and they didn't seem at all surprised or concerned.
Difficult to access the restaurant in a wheelchair. The Chicago style deep dish pizza takes 45 minutes to cook, which should be said before ordering. High priced for what you get.
stuffer pizza, in deep dish ..... do I need to say more. the pizza takes about 40mins to get done from the point you place order, so be prepared. there could be wait . but overall if you are visiting Chicago downtown it's worth the wait. this particular location is right in the center of downtown...
We went to this place to get deep dish pizza since we are from out of town and wanted to experience true deep dish Chicago pizza. We won. The pizza takes around 45 minutes to cook so be prepared to wait. We didn't mind waiting as it was snowing and raining outside. The servers are very nice. We orde...
The pizza needs no introduction, and I've reviewed Giordano's elsewhere. I like this place for its modest bar. If you're waiting for a train at Randolph Street, there isn't much around drink-wise. And although the bar closes early, it's still a nice place to grab some wine. This G's caters to ma...
Amazing! One of the "to do's" for my family on our Chicago trip. We were not disappointed. The stuffed deep dish is a meal in one piece, but the staff was even better than the food. It is a well orchestrated operation to give you the best experience possible.
