You can usually get what you're after however it is cramped and the stairs to first floor is very steep

Excellent service from the lady who was on the other end of the phone took my order n told me she'd phone me back when she had it all ready for me nshe phoned me back within 5 mins told me the price n I had it delivered next day as stated. Looking forward to when the shop in Hawick reopens but was definitely worth the phone call to Carlisle.

The man who owns the restaurant is really nice and kind. Even though he was closing he still cooked us our chips and we had a good conversation too. In addition to this the food was lovely.

Little gem of a shop with everything you need for crafting.I find it more reasonably priced than some of the bigger retailers,too.Staff are really friendly and helpful and like to help with crafting questions!

You can get most of what you need for sewing crafts, cross stitch, knitting and crochet, and papercrafts.The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. However the shop is on two levels and you need to negotiate very steep stairs which can be tricky if you are already carrying bags

No complaints about the stock and I ve used this shop for years but was very disappointed when I bought embroidery silks recently.
Having misread the pattern, I bought by mistake twice as many silks as I needed. As soon as I got home I realised my mistake and phoned the shop to ask if I could return them. The manager refused. Bad decision, Fun to Do!
If they cannot be flexible for a regular customer who is supporting a local business and has made an honest mistake, I shall take my business elsewhere.
High street stores wonder why they are losing business to the internet where, from my experience, returns and refunds are arranged without difficulty.

Good selection of Sirdar yarn. They were able to source me 2 balls of yarn that I had been looking for, for the last 18 months. They also have a good selection of buttons, ribbons etc. Plenty of needles etc. Nice selection of patterns. Everything needed for knitting, crocheting etc. Upstairs and selection of patchwork and quilting fabric and equipment. And there is also a floor with paper crafting stuff. The staff are helpful and knowledge about all crafting.

Very friendly knowledgeable staff, they sourced and sent to me a specific ribbon I needed to finish a project. Item arrived within 5 days. Will definitely use Fun 2 Do again even though they are 40 miles drive away

My favourite shop in Carlisle, if I could I would buy every single yarn they have.
