I was on a tour in this museum, I liked everything very much, it was interesting and unusual. There are cafes, toilets, wardrobe. Everything is very strictly guarded, which in principle is expected. If you are interested in the history of Peter and Faberge, be sure to visit this museum.

While technically this is a small museum with only 5 or so rooms (as opposed to the Hermitage with has thousands of rooms), it has a a lot of fascinating content including of course the Faberge eggs. However, only one room is dedicated to the eggs and I would highly recommend watching the Faberge documentary on Netflix before going to fully appreciate Faberge. The museum also has many antiques as well as famous paintings.

Very interesting museum with extremely polite staff at all stages of customer service. Very interesting collection of jewelry works of the late 19 - early 20 th century. Not only are the works of Faberge represented (first of all, Easter eggs, including several large ones) attract attention, but also the products of competitors: silverware, porcelain dishes, household trinkets (cigarette cases, snuffboxes, etc.). There is a small (but what !!!) art gallery: Aivazovsky, Semiradsky, Makovsky. I liked it very much, I highly recommend that, taking into account humane prices (450 rubles + 150 rubles, an audiogram or excursion, the time of the inspection is about 40 minutes, compare: tickets to Peter and Paul Cathedral in the fortress of the same name are also worth 450 rubles, although the examination of the composition will take maximum 10 minutes). Not a bad museum store.

They have student discounts and beautiful pieces of art. I didn t realize I was missing out on owning a cigarette case, and I really wanted one after visiting, despite the fact that I don t smoke.
The rooms are really to stand in as well. Make sure to pick up some of the laminations in the wooden boxes to read about the rooms.

There are strict rules in connection with coronovirus restrictions - 5 minutes per room and a limited number of visitors (about 5 people), but it's worth it if you want to be in a palace with amazing pieces of jewelry. Still, for some reason, it s not always possible to buy tickets through the website, and they are quickly disassembled at the museum s ticket office.

A must see! If you do not have the opportunity to take a personal guide, I recommend taking headphones for the audio guide.

Whoever visits St. Petersburg is obligatory! It is located at 2-300 meters from the Ny sky Prosecco, along a canal (not very typical white building). It is closed on Fridays, otherwise it is open until 10-18. If you want to watch "normal" and not just run around, take 3-4 hours. It's a good idea to ask for audio guidance, but guided tours do not add so much more. There is a washbasin, buffet, shop, the latter expensive. Safe deposit box for free, bag is included. You can be photographed. You can pay with a card.
