A nice shingle beach with clear water . When we were on the beach there were lots of people swimming. There's a good view of the ferry's and the cruise ship Disney Magic. The pier is lovely to walk along with a couple of restaurants nearby. The beach is only a short walk away from the town centre

Warnings on one-hour control checks should be given. I came one hour 20 before departure, missed the ferry and I have to wait 3h more hours for the next ferry. It is 2am and kids are cold in the car. At least they should have asked passengers by email or twitter to come 2hours earlier.
