This is a very beautiful and elegant winery. We had a great afternoon - the wines were fantastic and the staff were very knowledgeable. We were greeted by Scott who was was very friendly and knowledgeable about wine as well as the history of the winery, and took his time to show us around. You can tell that he loves his job and the wines - he made the experience for us!

We had an amazing experience at Clos Pegase with Scott Salvatierra as our host! He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to spend the afternoon with! Not to mention, the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Thank you to Scott and team for an unforgettable day!

Pleasant smaller winery with very welcoming staff. The building is a great example of Post Modern architecture designed by Michael Graves. They have a good selection of wine and a quieter, more secluded patio to enjoy some tasting. I highly recommend if you enjoy a more intimate and less touristy wine country experience.

The lady brought our wine... she look tired and busy and couldn't even breathe wasn'tbusy!!! ... we went for a walk maybe 5 minutes and they took all OUR stuff away . horrible !!! Never again !! Wine was just ok. Service was terrible........

Of all of the beautiful wineries in Napa/Sonoma...Clos Pegase keeps me coming back to visit every time! The incredible art presence, and the knowledgeable staff there to explain the history of the winery & the passions of its founders...guarantees an incredible visit. Not to mention the delicious wines..(they taste even better when enjoyed inside the caves - definitely don t miss this when booking your visit!) Our wonderful guide, Scott totally personalized our experience, making it a truly unforgettable visit. Thank you to the Clos Pegase team!

The staff at this tasting room could not do anything more to make our experience more meaningful. Nicole was so welcoming, that I plan to tell all my friends and family when I return home.

Do yourself a favor, and make Clos Pegase part of your Napa Valley experience. You will not be let down by this "jewel of the valley".

Clos Pegase is a magical winery filled with history, sophistication, and delicious wine! All of the staff was warm and welcoming, but Scott was the most amazing host. My husband and I were sitting close enough to listen in on all the conversations close to us, and it was amazing to hear him switch gears on many different questions about wine, the vineyards, the history of the property, and even play with the cute toddler (he brought him a Capri Sun -- now that's hospitality!). If you visit the Napa Valley, don't miss this amazing winery and the relaxing patio behind the tasting room!

We brought our family of 6 for a visit to Clos Pegasi and the experience could not have been more memorable thanks to our host, Scott Salvatierra. Scott welcomed us in their new tasting room with a glass of Rose. We walked through the vineyards sipping while learning about the vineyard. We even got to pick grapes off the vine and try them! But it was the walk through the amazing tunnel of caves lined with art that was most impressive. At the end of the cave we were seated at a table to finish the tasting with a cheese plate and 5 more great Clos Pegase wines! A unique and special visit! Thank you, Scott Salvatierra!!

Done a lot of tastings in the California wine region and this experience was phenomenal. The 2 for 1 tasting option was so refreshing given how expensive it can be just to taste in Napa. The wines were exceptional. I was converted to love Chardonnay and Merlot which was truly an accomplishment since I tend to lean away from those, but these were exceptional. I joined the wine club because the benefits were too good to pass up and the grounds are exceptional. Also a Dog friendly Covid safe environment with seasoned Sommeliers and happy staff? Yea it doesn't get much better. Recommend!

Enjoyed the experience. Vary comfortable table seating with private pourer Steve. Wines excellent.
Tasting a bit pricy. Would probably not stop on a regular basis because of this.

Would prefer to have the tasting or part of it waived for the purchase of a bottle or two of wine.

The appearance of the building is very elegant. When I walk in, I find that there are many people in it, and I feel that I really want to drink good wine and choose a place instead of ordinary tourists.

It is a pity to not be able to cooperate in time and to enjoy the guided service provided, but the service staff is very nice and talkative, and they are very enthusiastic to introduce the characteristics and taste of each wine, and the answers to questions are also professional. I tried a lot, and I especially liked the first Rose, so I brought a bottle.

Because the owner of this winery is Japanese, some wines are named after Japanese.

Nick was our server, he was awesome! He explained the wines well and to the point we joined the wine club there! The Chardonnay was fantastic and the Cab Sav to die for! Thank you and we will now be sharing your wines on a regular basis back on the East coast!

We visited Clos Pegase on Tuesday afternoon and had an amazing experience thanks to our host, Scott Salvatierra! He was very knowledgeable about everything Clos Pegase and took the time to show us across all of the different parts of the winery. It was our 6th winery visit and will definitely be the most memorable!

Our group of 3 stopped in after running away from the castle winery down the road. Isaac provided a phenomenal host experience, spending an hour educating us on all thing Nappa while we sampled the wines. We couldn't be happier from stopping into this classy but casual, modern feel winery. Thanks, Issac, for making our day amazing!

The wine cellar and grounds here are beautiful (the cellar makes a great location for an event) but the building architecture itself is bleak and unwelcoming. Additionally the wine doesn't hold up well compared to it's prices ( I enjoyed the Cab but it was a bit over priced). Overall I wouldn't return but the cellar is a big plus for some people

Came here as part of the trolley tour and it was ok. I didn t hate it, I didn t love it. It was only just ok. I would not say don t come here, but there are much more fabulous places you could visit while in Napa. Especially if you re not from the area and want to make the most of your time in wine country.

Isaak was fast and thoughtful. I was very happy and surprised when he sat us all together at a nice roomy bar table. We had a party of 9. The Rose was a big hit with the younger folks in the group. Several bottles were purchased. Every wine was good. We also ordered the charcuterie plate - this is a must when doing several tastings. I was very happy to have that option. 5 stars!!!

Isaac was amazing! He was so knowledgeable in the wines we had and the wine making process. We loved that we could learn more about the wines. The history of the winery is so interesting. Clos Pegase is a hidden gem with excellent wine. My husband and I also enjoyed the cheese board as well! I highly recommend this winery because it s not crowded and the staff is wonderful! I will definitely go back to this place.
(I would HIGHLY suggest to the owners to allow the us/visitors to be able to add TIP to our bills because. Not too many people carry cash. And your staff deserve to be tipped and rewarded for their service they provide.)

Excellent winery and thank you Isaac for your amazing service.

Well this place has changed a lot since I was here last. The art and sculpture garden that used to be such a draw is gone. So the grounds are pretty sterile.
They offer two tastings, a $15 and a $30. The Chardonays were pretty big, old school Californian from Carneros with lots of oak. The Pinot Noir was fairly quiet but I liked the Merlot and the Cabernets. Although the Cabs are pretty pricey. The staff was great but a little overwhelmed by the crowd. One of the winemakers assistants was on hand to answer questions and very knowledgable.

The views are awesome, and the wines are even better! If you're looking for great wines in Calistoga, stop by for a tasting. They also have events on the calendar coming up that you don't want to miss. Exclusives for club members are also a plus to joining. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and hard working folks. Stop by and see for yourself!

The grounds are very eye catching, and worth a look around. The tasting room is truly a feast for the eyes, enhanced with all sorts of art work on display.
The best part of our visit was Steve, who did an excellent job of explaining the history of the winery, and providing information about the wines we tasted. He was so friendly and engaging, truly a pleasure. The rest of the staff were hospitable too. Steve did such a good job of serving us, we wound up purchasing a bottle of one of the featured red wines. We'll probably come back again. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

The tasting room attendants were very attentive and our experience was personalized and casually paced. I was not rushed and we felt like Stephen was extremely knowledgeable, passionate about his job and gave us expert attention. He made recommendations which we followed through on and did not feel he was pushy but target informative and polite . Forgive me if I got our attendant s babe wrong but we have met so ma y people ! In either case we really enjoyed the beauty and history of this winery !

Visited during our Trolley Tour, as I can say I did not try their wine, my friends said their favorite was the Cab from the tasting. The atmosphere overall felt very grey... not that "Napa" feel. Was told there was a lot of art collected by the owners but we didn't see much.
Corn hole was a nice touch!

Such a beautiful, breathtaking winery with a stock of nothing but stellar wines. I loved it! Started our work retreat off here with a wonderful host (Steve was amazing!! Left feeling content and not overwhelmed or pressured like some Napa experiences), and it really set the mood for the rest of the day!! We will definitely all be back the next time we are in town ^_^ Really loved the vibe here, of the staff, overall ambiance, and the picturesque landscapes and architecture. The flights were both phenomenal, you can t go wrong!

We visited a number of wineries during our visit to Napa and this was our favorite. Clos Pegase is the only winery where we felt compelled to join the wine club. Mostly because we loved the quality of the red wines, but also because we were treated very warmly and the ambiance of the facility is worth the visit alone. Make sure you go to this one!
