I was here for rehab after abdominal surgery. The place is wonderful! Great physical therapy and nursing staff and the food is excellent. I was almost unhappy to go home again.
a nurse stole my iphone and then proceeded to blame it on my grandmother who is too ill to know that her own family is even there with her.. THANKS CAPITOL LAKES. (sarcasm)
My father is currently at this facility, and we cant wait to get him moved.
in the middle of whats happening with Covid 19 and not being able to visit , you'd think we'd be better informed.
The mis communication or lack of is horrible . I would not recommend this rehab place to anyone.
This is a wonderful retirement facility, where my mother resides. It includes senior housing, assisted living and a nursing home, all on site. $7000/mo and you can't even have a decent visit with your loved one who is trapped inside the facility due to current events. The staff seems to just want to dope the patients up as much as possible so they don't have to do so much work. Very disappointed with this facility.
There are many reasons why I am familiar with nursing homes / rehab centers in the Madison area including my wife's career was as a nurse and administrator of nursing homes; I have a sibling who is a patient in skilled nursing; and recently I was a rehab patient in two area centers.

I had rehab last year after a month long hospital stay. I was very well taken care of during my stay. The
physical rehab was top notch, the staff were warm and welcoming and I feel very fortunate to have my rehab at such a 5 star facility.

OMG!!! My neighbors father in law was here this past year and I heard such horror stories of his stay there and how the family had to get him the hell out of there. They had told me of a nursing care facility that he was at before he passed away of cancer but never the name of it. So when my Dad now...
My friend has stage four cancer. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and caring. Facility very clean and pleasant.
