Favorite place to meet for an informal business meeting over coffee within 5 blocks of 4th and University. Very nice croissants.
Favorite place to meet for an informal business meeting over coffee within 5 blocks of 4th and University. Very nice croissants.
The coffee is top notch. The food is great. The team is friendly. 11/10
one of the best breakfast sandwiches, seriously. go there.
Best little coffeeshop for breakfast in Seattle... ive read in the reviews someone saying their croissants is bad let me tell you smthg its better than the croissants ive tried in Paris my self definitely coming back
Attractive cafe, friendly staff, good coffee, very good pastries. And open weekends when many coffee shops in immediate area are closed
Great service, great coffee, great food. Pricey, but good
Cozy. Good pastries. My favorite is their quiche, warmed up, of course.
They were very polite and kind and I was very happy about the food! I was very satisfied for this being my first time!
It's like I'm back in Paris. Bacon cheese and onion brioche sand! Delish!
All I can say is YUMMY! I bought one of each: pistachio, raspberry, tiramisu, and mango mousse cake. They are very very tasty. Everyone loved it.
The pastry and coffee are wonderful. The biggest issue is the service. Three different times now I have been greeted then virtually ignored for several minutes while the individuals behind the counter are doing other things, but when another individual comes in they immediately jump to assist that p...
Great little pastry place! Their macaroons are to die for.
Loved their breakfast sandwiches (the ratatouille one was amazing) and their coffee.
Convenient location below the Fairmont Olympic, just off the corner of 4th and Seneca. Their coffee is excellent- I come here when I want a treat, and Starbucks isn't cutting it. I'd say their prices are a little steep for coffee, and a lot steep for pastries that really aren't anything special. Cus...
Excellent pastries and coffee. Highly recommend it
Their apricot croissants are amazing. Of all the places I've visited for pastries, this remains my favorite patisserie in Seattle.
Expensive, and the customer service is good but not great. You do get what you pay for, quality-wise, and paying more here is generally worth it. As for the service, affordable, good customer servixe-oriented help is a hard thing to come by in wildly unequal, financially-lopsided Seattle these days....
They have a few staples they keep year round and rotate other flavors monthly. Great little spot but a pain to find parking nearby.
A wonderful and unique coffee shop/patisserie that anyone will enjoy. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great for sitting and reading or catching up with a friend.
Love the ham and egg croissant. Coffee was great 3 of 4 visits.
We live close by and come here often. I really like the food here usually a easy 5 star TODAY I had a terrible experience.
We were just about to pay and I changed my mind on getting a breakfast sandwich. Since there were people at the sandwich case (COVID social distancing), I asked what are th...
A cute french pitstop to grab a pastrie and cup of joe. Great service but the buoldong temperature was about 90 degrees when i visited
Only tried this because of ritual. Food is good but it's too expensive for what it is
Cute place and good service. Liked my coffee and macarons
Quite good. I personally like Bakery Nouveau quite a but more - that may be my favorite bakery in all of my travels.
Great coffee, beautiful surrounding and excellent customer service. I really couldn't be happier with my excellent experience.
Croissants really good, macaroons colds???no good ,sandwichs ok,but be prepare is expensive.
Love this Belle Epicurean Bakery & Catering. Great latte, delicious sandwiches and fresh breads. I've tried the sourdough, white, blueberry scones, croissants (cornettos) and baguettes - all really good.
There is seating available, not a lot, but cab seat at least 15-20 and some more outside on a...
Most delicious brioche sweet buns and marcarons in Seattle! Their new location is not as cute, but much easier to get to and spacious- totally worth going out of your way for a treat. Oh and the dessert are all top notch!
I was looking for a medium size restaurant with a good variety. Once I got into the place, I felt disappointed. But the coffee was outstanding and the sandwich and croissant we ordered were delicious, to say the least. It was a very good experience!
My preferred scene for french food. The service was very friendly and attentive. Bring your hunger - portions are filling. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I loved.
Amazing food and service! The chevre quiche is outstanding
Great food. A little pricy but the quality was excellent. It was too damn tasty. I had the ham and cheese sandwich. Staff is friendly and cheerful.
I used to like this place very much but not any more ...They charge $15 for a plate of spring mix and less than a tablespoons of chicken salad! ... I don't get disappointed soon, but I already tried their salads for more than 5-6 times and everytime told my self that might have been a mistake! ... a...
The espresso here is pretty standard, but the pastries are out of this world. The pear-almond croissant is a personal favorite.
I don t know why I bother. Their croissants have the consistency of wet paper. Looks really good in the display but that s about. Don t be deceived!
In Response to the Owner, Yes it was Belle Epicurean on 4th Ave and Madison. I have tried the croissant, twice baked almond croissant, apricot crois...
Great designer coffees. The food is so so. Somewhat awkwardly positioned in the hotel so it is a bit of a trek to get to the restroom, etc.
Great coffee and amazing breakfast sandwiches with even better pastries
french food, yeah, so fresh. This place has a cool atmosphere.
All the time when I want to have a lunch there, the soup is out. Despite of that, it's a lovely place in Downtown.
Their ham and cheese croissant and sandwiches are some of the best breakfast options in this area of downtown.
Their new location in the 4th and Madison building is inviting and beautifully done, and the partitioned area to watch the bakers is a nice touch.
I hate to say it, but I feel like this place has gone downhill every since it's changed location (not sure if that also included a change of management?) Sure, the space is much larger and modern, but what use to easily be a 5-star establishment I find just mediocre now. I've seen some new faces s...
Delicious! I love their pain au chocolat croissants and their ham and cheese baguette sandwich! Im never disappointed.
Great coffee and fabulous pastries!! Not a lot of seating, however.
Pastry was delicious, but I missed my bus because I was served out of order, and the cappuccino I got in exchange was not worth it. It was so dry it might as well have had a merengue on top, and so over-extracted I might as well have gone to Starbucks. Sad because I was excited to have a decent coff...
Love the new location. It has a great cafe vibe with lots of light and a good amount of seating. I've only tried coffee and macarons - the coffee seemed average and the macarons were great.
Love the peace and calm you can find here. Gourmet food and coffee. Enjoy!
Currently just a stand in the lobby with a few pasteries and coffee, don't come expecting lunch.
Makes a proper cappuccino and great croissants. 'Nough said.
Best breakfast I've ever had! Keep in mind it's not fast food, but it's well worth the wait!
Just had a turkey sandwich for breakfast and it was warm and comforting. Nice quaint little place.
Had the Mac and cheese breakfast, crossaint, and coffee. Mac and cheese and egg was very heavy for breakfast and felt sick after few bites. The crossaint and the coffee was just average. The price is extremely high for just avg coffee and food.
Food was ok, but the coffee was undrinkable. Tables were dirty but that didn't stop all 3 waitresses having a chat behind the counter.
Super fast service on a Saturday afternoon, delicious Croque Monsieurs and pastries to go. We stopped in for lunch before a show and it was perfect.
Enjoyable experience... quaint Seattle French bakery. Food was tasty but hope you are not real hungry. Coffee was very good. Display case almost empty, not alot of choice, a little strange but over all good experience. I would give them another shot.
Great pastries. The quiches are quite good but tiny for the price.
Great coffee and beautiful bakery items - they are like works of art! We met the owner and it s clear that she takes pride in her work. Her colleague was friendly and helpful too. Yum!
Coffee was amazing (5/5) but the pastries we're either dry or too greasy. Nice atmosphere too!
Overpriced. I only had a cookie and it was just okay.
Overpriced coffee, unhelpful staff, okay baked goods but not worth 4.25 for a croissant.
Have to agree with other review - coffee undrinkable. Cafe au lait was worse than instant airplane decaf and the egg in my breakfast sandwich was so overcooked the yolk was green! Ugh. Cute location & atmosphere across from Starbucks. Hint hint
Coffee and tea are solid. Don't leave without a pastry.
Probably the best french bakery and cafe that I tried in Seattle. All of the different items that I have tried have are amazingly well done. The space it super bright and clean. There is a large selection of goods from cake, to pastry to sandwiches. There is also wine and beer and a happy hour. The ...
french food at this spot - super tasty. Nothing to complain about. Certainly worth a return trip. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.
Ordered a breakfast sandwich. It was great and I ate the whole thing, only to discover after that there was a hair in the box it came in. None of the baristas wear hair nets here. They refunded my order but I'm still pretty disgusted.
What a gem! This place is delicious. Their sandwiches are wonderful, especially the salami and olive (get it toasted!) And the Curry quinoa is perfect. And great coffee!
Disappointed. Not expecting a real French experience, just fresh, decent, simple food and a strong espresso. But I'm sorry I shelled out 10$ for a sandwich (croque monsieur) that was burnt when first cooked and then reheated in a microwave in the time it took me to walk to a table and settle in.

Good food and great taste .staff's are very friendly .I loved it and recommended to my friend !!!
