Location is fantastic. Short walk from Hyde Park, and lots of food nearby. Just a short tube ride to all the major attractions. The rooms are relatively spacious and clean. The service is great. Very friendly staff that is willing to help anytime.

This was the most disgusting hostel I've ever stayed in.

Pros:
-Great location in Kensington
-The physical building itself was gorgeous!

Cons:
-Bathroom had no hand towels/toilet paper (thrown on the back of the toilet)

The best hostel I have ever been so far. Though there are several minuses like stairs vs elevator, no chairs in the room, it has a very friendly staff and perfect location. I haven't been much inside as I spent most of my time walking around London but I liked the place.

The room was very dusty, the bathroom was under water and it has not been cleaned at all, there was hair in the shower. The shower head was defekt, I asked someone from the hostel to come and fix it, they said they will come the next day and repair it, the next day the shower head was still broken.

The staff were welcoming and the bed was clean but there were no privacy curtains on bunks so people coming in and out throughout the night, turning on all lights while they looked for stuff in their bags, made it difficult to stay asleep. The dining area was pleasant.

Nice hostel right next to Hyde Park. 10 minute walk to either the South Kensington or Gloucester Road tube stations on the Piccadilly, District, and Circle lines. Very close to the Science Museum, the Royal Albert Hall, Imperial College, the Natural History Museum, and the V&A art museum.

Great location, 10 minutes from the metro, 50 meters from Hyde Park, very quiet area, you can also see it from the type of houses / cars here. I stayed here 5 nights, staff always friendly and helpful. I found my room clean and welcoming. The bathrooms were small but clean.

Very welcoming and fairly clean hostel. Friendly and helpful staff.
I was in the mixed 12 room, which has obvious drawbacks, but all in all I found myself well.
The total absence of shelves / shelves in the bathroom or bedroom is a bit uncomfortable.
Excellent location.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and sociable, and the location is perfect (if not a little far from a tube stop). I would definitely recommend this place if you're after a cheap bed for a night or two down in Central London.

I only spent time in the common room, but it was lovely - wood-paneled, leather sofas and armchairs, tasteful decoration, a bookshelf, plus a protector and screen for movie nights. Hopefully the rest of the facility is similarly nice!
