Arizona DPS

During my vacation in Phoenix in January 2018, I had to visit the Arizona DPS to report an accident I was involved in. My accident report took sometime to process; the only distraction was listening to other claimants being instructed how to claim their vehicles from the pound!

Absolute disaster!! They don't answer phones. It is all recording with 3 options in 1 menu. It is all like a carousel. Simple question can not even be answered with a simple phone call!! Big waste of tax money.

Unprofessional, very rude, poor customer service, the so called "supervisor " hung up the phone while I was talking.

This review is specifically for the individuals who answer the phones and relay information to dispatch or transfer you to speak to a Duty Officer. Not sure what their job tasks are but I m pretty sure polite, courteous, knowledgeable are somewhere in there. Instead, I received very poor customer service skills. One young lady was extremely Inattentive and condescending. After telling me in tone that I was wasting her time, she said someone would call me back. That call never came. Calling back next day and I m met with more of the same. All I wanted to do was make a report after being rear ended. A little compassion wouldn t hurt and accurate information would truly be a bonus.

Huge waste of not only my tax money but of everybody else's tax money. They cannot get anything done correctly and are extremely inefficient.

DPS is useless. Do-nothings in uniform. Waste of taxpayer money.

If you are going to DPS to request records, get a fingerprint clearance card, background check, or 30-day impound, this is the place to go. Walk up, take a number, and you will be served at the window for what you are requesting. Easy to access, waiting room is nice.

Lost important documents with my personal information, at risk of identity theft now because of them, no call backs after requesting a supervisor... and now I m expected to pay more money and resend paper work... who s running this place????
