There was no better place for my father to be in his final days than Agrace Hospice. The reverence and caring that the doctors, nurses and other staff showed him gave him dignity from the moment he arrived until he departed. It was a serene and gentle finish to his life for which his family will forever be grateful.

I am forever grateful and thankful for Agrace Hospice. My father passed with dignity and respect. It allowed me to understand the dying process, so I could be there for my father, unafraid. The nurses were so wonderful. I am blessed, at the end, my father had so many wonderful people with him at Agrace. Words cannot express what that meant to me. Thank you for being the comforting, warm people you are.

The care for my mother within assisted living was okay. It was in place only to support the assisted living staff, while allowing my mother to avoid unwanted stressful trips to the ER followed by extra non-beneficial hospital stays. But I found this agency ultra-institutional and super-bureaucratic--always the laptops were yanked from their rolling briefcases before any conversation, and all communication seemed scripted, stilted, and jargony (following CYA practices to the letter, or other agendas). The RN assigned at first we found creepy and dishonest (caught misrepresenting situations and misquoting others)--he was replaced at my insisting, yet continued apparent power-playing and asserting his ability to stay involved, against our wishes, for as long as possible, claiming our new nurse, who was lovely, had asked him to (but this turned out to be untrue, when I checked) or stating some other misrepresentation. After death, the grief department hounded me for months, despite my repeated requests for no further contact--my own support system was enough, I assured their counselor. When my mother died I was overjoyed and relieved I could stop dealing with this company, at last, but the calls and letters kept up! Finally I returned their mail, marked in red "received and rejected unopened" and only then did this unwanted insensitive "helping" cease.

The Review process for having someone admitted for home hospice service was very mechanical.
The Representative "Alejandra" who does the home assessment treated the interview as a salesman would.
Clearly "talking over " the client's ( my elderly mother) level of understanding.
She Just "rattled off " the things she was supposed to say about the company even when I told her ( several times) my mother is not understanding you.
I was not impressed with the level of empathy for the terminally ill from their home representative.
I will consider other hospice providers.

My Father was in this center twice, checked himself out once (with the assistance of the Doctors & staff) so that he could recieve further medical attention. He did! Another 5 weeks was given to his life because my Father was not ready to give up his life and the entire staff suppported his determination. 5 weeks later when it was my Father's time to die, I re-checked him into this facility. The staff and doctors all remembered him and sent him to Heaven with the best possible care & compassion. Thank you! Sincerely, Lauri Ashley

My mom is receiving care now. The staff treats her just like she is their own mother. It takes a special person to be able to do end of life care and am so glad agrace has these people not only as employees but as volunteers as well. I can't express enough how grateful I am to these truly amazing super heroes.

I have to first say... the main staff that worked with my mom were absolutely amazing, kind, and a gift to us; but the nurse she had overnight when she passed was horrific and treated her very poorly. My mom did not go the way she would have wanted because of one nurse who had no compassion and just seemed to want to get everything over with. She didn't care about my mom's dignity or our final hours and moments with her, at all. My family will be haunted forever by this. We did speak to patient services and nothing came of it, so that's worthless. That nurse should have no business working with dying people or people in general. It took me a few months to even write this because I've literally been so traumatized, but I will be heard, for my mom. She deserved better.

My Grandpa stayed there for five days until he passed. My family could not ask for a better place for him to pass over. The staff was gentle and very knowledgeable about the process. We are so thankful for the care and comfort we all received. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

My brother was there in June of this year 2016. First of all there are not enough stars for the rating ! This place is remarkable..not only for helping and taking care of my brother. But his family also. He passed away June 8 th. The nurses and staff were the nicest I have ever seen. I would recremend this place with 100 stars ! God Bless all the patients there and the Staff. Agrace is immoral & disgraceful & NOT Christian values. Agrace nurses got very angry when patient sought treatment for non-terminal illnesses & interfered with her hospital treatment by requesting more drugs be given to patient than the hospital recommends. Family members had constantly conflict with Agrace nurses who over-medicate & act like they can't wait for death to occur with patients. Nurses didn't treat customers like clients & didn't do anything to meet client needs. One horrible night staff head nurse was a me-me-me millennial who had no social skills & was yelling at the concerned family & very nasty & couldn't care less about respecting the patient's wishes. The nurses give unnecessary amounts of lethal & controversial medication making patients very UNCOMFORTABLE. My loved one was completely ignored when requesting to be positioned in ways that would make the patient more comfortable & instead just given more drugs. My loved one wanted to leave the facility & the nurses refused to let my loved one leave because they claimed she needed tons of drugs which she wasn't on before & the drugs couldn't be administered outside of their facility (loved one held against will). Visiting friends thought the way patient was man-handled by nurses was abusive & repulsive & it was so embarrassing for the family to have people visit because of the horrible nursing staff. Staff left patient with private parts exposed on the bed & disrespectfully called patient 'sweetie' - showing great disrespect & lack of care & taking away DIGNITY of patient. Nurses didn't view patient as being 'human' because of patient's illness & didn't value patient's life. Family members had to argue with nurses for better care & to leave their care & loved one always seemed to take huge turns for the worse after getting lots of injections from the nurses (100+) & huge doses of drugs. Outside pharmacist briefed on the issue said it was gross mismanagement of heavy duty drugs. Agrace claim they only care about 'quality' of life and not 'quantity' but consider what that means prior to entering any agreement. Nurses really pushing no treatment, no care & death for patient (to save Medicare money). Nurses acted so excited upon the death of patient as if they had won the lottery! Nurse even sent written message to the family about how 'happy' the nurse was that the patient died - very alarming, twisted & disgusting. Received 100+ condolences & Agrace were the only ones to express 'happiness' at my loved one's death. Disgusting place, anti-Christian values & immoral.
