I have to first say... the main staff that worked with my mom were absolutely amazing, kind, and a gift to us; but the nurse she had overnight when she passed was horrific and treated her very poorly. My mom did not go the way she would have wanted because of one nurse who had no compassion and just seemed to want to get everything over with. She didn't care about my mom's dignity or our final hours and moments with her, at all. My family will be haunted forever by this. We did speak to patient services and nothing came of it, so that's worthless. That nurse should have no business working with dying people or people in general. It took me a few months to even write this because I've literally been so traumatized, but I will be heard, for my mom. She deserved better.
