Visited here today to get motion analysis and try on some shoes. By far the best experience I ve had with any footwear (or sports) shop. Super knowledgeable, great range and free no pressure expert advice. Took me an hour to drive there and I will be going back every time I need anything running from now on.

Don t suffer in silence.
These guys took the time to listen to my running issues and gave a detailed breakdown of why I was suffering.
I have had time to build up some miles in the Sidas insoles and Brooks Ravenna 10 they recommended and am pleased to report that I am a happy runner again.
As I have learned our bodies/posture changes over time but so do advancements in insole and shoe design to help correct this.

Nico took the time to hear my needs as well as my wishes then went to great lengths to fulfill them. Even when the wish was not possible he made sure to get as close to it as possible.. Excellent service..

Compared to other vendors in the past, it is pleasing to see that Active Foot Store actually has sample shoes in the store. Many other vendors are catalog only and one is often disappointed when the shoes actually arrive and are less than described in quality and function.

I spent about 2 hours at your store on 7/3/2019 with Nico.He was very patient with me and all the questions I had. My feet are C-shaped and very few styles of shoe fit me. In addition, I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet from chemo, and I can feel pressure points acutely in them. So, Nick showed me the style of shoe that fits me best, explained why in detail, and I found an athletic shoe and a flat dress shoe that feel great and don't aggravate my feet! I am so happy to know about your business and will be back. Nico explained that you are a foot store, not a shoe store and now I know why I need your expertise. I will definitely be back because I can see it's almost impossible to get a shoe to fit correctly by shopping online. Thanks to Nico, I am more informed about my foot issues amd the value of being helped by a good sales associate like he is. Thank you for a great shopping experience!

I consider your store to be a full-service, one-stop specialty shop where all my needs were met for receiving a high quality, custom-made product - which in my case was an orthotic & shoes (sneakers & casual/work ones) to house them - along with expert, caring attention! It was especially supportive to have a consultation with you first Dr. Reingold as you fitted me for my orthotic and after it was made, to have another consult with you to make sure I was doing alright & adjustments were made! I was then referred to Karen the Manager who was very knowledgeable, patient & helpful as I found the perfect shoes for both hiking and work! And - the prices for it all were most reasonable! What more could I ask???!!! Thank you for creating this wonderful experience from beginning to end! I am deeply grateful! Definitely an A-l experience which I will recommend to others!

Gait analysis was very informative and useful. Staff helpful but not pushy. Thoroughly recommended.

This is the best place for a pedicure. It's not about making your feet look good with nail polish, but making sure your feet are healthy. The clinician was very nice and experienced. She told me how to better take care of my feet. When she was done, not only did my feet look good, but they felt good!

My two visits to the Active Foot Store (one for exam/fitting and one for pickup and try-on) couldn't have been easier or more professional on the part of the staff. I wish I could remember the woman's name that did the initial exam...she was really fantastic and left me feeling confident in her knowledge and care. After buying 3 pairs of running trainers on the Internet and them all being wrong for different reasons I decided to go here, amazing service, had my feet measured then plenty of different options were bought out to choose from. Highly recommend, Andy took me through everything and explained really well. Didn't need to buy new trainers as of yet but brought some socks and a compression sleeve. Will be coming back in a couple of months to get my new shoes sorted.

What great customer service! I brought in my orthotics for a badly needed refurbishing (originally purchased in 2012). Bebay was knowledgeable and very helpful. When he learned how I dislike the drive from Rancho Bernardo, he offered to have them refurbished within 1 1/2 hours.Less than one hour later, he called to say they were ready. I could not be more pleased with the service and the durability of these orthotics. I walk and hike alot and these have kept me pain-free! Love the Active Foot Store.

Narida waited on me and gave me several ways to determine whether or not I needed a new pair of walking shoes to replace the ones I bought from your store five years ago. Knowledge of podiatry and the patience in explaining to me several problems I might be experiencing enabled me to make a sound decision. There was no pressure to order a brand new pair of shoes to go with my custom orthopedic inserts. He even re-glued the cloth back on to the inserts. The new shoes hold my foot in place and provide me with much better traction on steep and slippery surfaces. My foot pain has stopped.

Active Foot Store was recommended by Kaiser Permanente. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by staff, which made me feel welcomed. My appointment was not until 4:00pm, ( I arrived early) but I was quickly assisted by Nico who explained the difference in the shoes and what would happen next. After I was fitted for and selected shoes, again the wait was very short before seeing the doctor to do the fitting for the orthotics. The entire process was quick, informative and appreciated.

Very knowledgeable. Obviously not the cheapest way to buy trainers but if you factor in the expert opinion and technical knowledge this will save you time money and most importantly injury. Couldn't recommend the service highly enough. Thanks.

I've purchased several pairs of shoes at Active Foot Store in the Costa Verde shopping center, and have never worked with such experienced, helpful, dedicated and knowledgeable sales people. Connie and others focused on finding and adapting shoes that were comfortable and supportive of my unusual feet - unmatched in both length and width, and one with a metal plate. Even after wearing shoes for a while, they welcome customers in to make slight adjustments for better fit and comfort. Connie worked with me for more than an hour yesterday. I'm glad the store is nearby. Thanks to all at Active Foot.

I've had two pedicures with Kari -absolutely the best ever. I have been concerned, even prior to COVID, about the cleanliness and sanitary oversight at My regular nail salon. I found Kari-I'll never return to my former salon. Thank you for your continued excellent care and service.

Staff here are excellent. Very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. They want you to have the best for you, even if it means going themselves out a sake sometimes.

I have been in a couple of times for energy gels/electrolyte tablets and being vegan usually have to comb through ingredients. Now if they have something new they are on their phones checking for me before I can get mine out!

I was trying to get back in to running and was concerned my old running shoes were doing more harm than good.
I called in to this shop two weeks ago and received some fantastic service.
From having my feet measured through to trying out running shoes on the treadmill, every step of the way was explained to me and all my questions answered clearly.
I was given several choices of shoes to try that were suitable for me and appreciated the advice regarding correct fitting around the toes, laces and heel.
I walked out of the shop smiling with a fantastic pair of shoes at a very reasonable price.
Five star service from start to finish with no complaints at all. Thanks guys!

Fantastic one to one trainer fitting service that can be booked in advance. Very knowledgeable staff with plenty of time to make sure you try a selection of trainers to find the best fit and feel. Highly recommend this independent shop.

Absolutely brilliant service, I cannot recommend these guys enough! Seemingly limitless knowledge of running technique, bio-mechanics and the products they sell. Great range of shoes too with large numbers of sizes in stock. First visited 18 months ago with an IT band issue which had always prevented me from running much further than the end of my road - they identified the issue and provided an in-depth solution to my problem. I have now competed in multiple mountain marathon events pain free and am planning to run a 50 mile ultra marathon later this year. Today was my second visit to the Active Foot Co and again their expertise and sound advise on both technique and biomechanics has been of tremendous value towards meeting my running goals - If your in two minds whether to book an appointment my advise is, DO IT! You wont regret it.

I called in on the off chance when in Worcester to look at some running shoes and I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff. It was like going to a Saville Row tailors but for your feet! Andy was my advisor and he was excellent. He took me through the whole process, put me on the treadmill to see how I ran and then brought me an array of shoes that were totally suited for my style of running. I was so impressed that I raved about it to all my friends and now all my family have been for the experience and bought from there. I will never go anywhere else from now on!
I can't stress the importance of having the correct shoes for your application. Don't buy from cheap multi-national sport stores or off the internet just because they look good. Poor fitting shoes can cause injury. Get fitted properly and enjoy the experience!!

Everyone in the store was friendly, patient, and helpful. The orthotics changed my life. I went from thinking about my feet and their pain and discomfort most of the time to not thinking of them at all. The orthotics have allowed me to spend more time working at home and in the garden and walking my dogs without being miserable. I truly wish I had visited the store sooner.

My experience at Active Foot Store was wonderful, just what I needed. It was my first time needing new, properly designed shoes, for a sore, metatarsal condition. First of all, Active Foot Store is the only store that I found that offers the kind of shoes that I need. Secondly, the service provided by Don was perfect, and just what I needed: he was patient, caring, understanding, obviously knowledgeable, and immensely helpful.

Nico greeted me as I began to look at shoes. I have a metal plate in one foot and a bunion on the other - relatively difficult to fit as my feet as different in width and length, and the metal plate is becoming more uncomfortable as the natural padding on my foot becomes thinner with age. After measuring and looking at options with Nico, I knew I was in good hands. He found a solution for each of the minor issues I mentioned as I tried 3 different pairs. I asked him if I could speak with the owner or manager, as I was so pleased with his helpfulness and knowledge, and look forward to wearing my new shoes in the near future. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, kitted me out with some excellent trainers. If you're looking to get into running, or just want to upgrade from an entry level shoe this is the place to go. Gait testing and proper sizing were excellent.

We were staggered by just how rude and uncooperative the manager was at this place. My partner took a pair of trainers back because they were not suitable. He told my she that because of our poor choice, a rash decision, his business would suffer. He would not provide a refund until she apologised. Basil Fawlty lives on. Honestly don't say you haven't been warned!

Called in for some advice ...absolutely bowled over by the sound, quality advice and customer care. A really knowledgeable and enthusiastic manager .... if you're into running and need anything GO HERE FIRST ! A far cry from a regular multichain sports shop full of youfs who know little or less!

Nico was great he has been there since our first inquiry, through out the paperwork. He kept us in the loop even when the process seemed to be going slow. Nico is the definition to good customer service.

Babey and all staff members I came in touch with were very helpful and caring people. The doctor/owner on my first visit offered helpful information and I was impressed with his credentials. This facility was likewise very impressive and has a wide variety of selections. A good experience overall.
