Self-service restaurant? That is NOT wellness. That is Ikea or V&D. Very unsatisfactory. Rest okay.

What a worthless day, checking in takes a long time, too few staff and unfriendly. No wellness day at all where you can relax. A restaurant where you have to get your food past a buffet with a tray of poor quality for a lot of money. Towels and bathrobe cannot be changed during the day.
The staff there is unfriendly and barking, and surprisingly they walk through the complex on normal outdoor shoes.
All in all a lot of money lost, a factory has been created here, where nothing of wellness can be found. Signed on departure, Miss at the counter indicates 'then you must come in the evening next time'. Thanks but no thanks, so next time we will not go to the Zwaluwhoeve.

You notice that it is less chic here than Soesterberg and Bussloo. It is also quiet nowhere and people talk everywhere. Nevertheless great for each other here.

Now with the tranquility of corona it was wonderful to stay here. All rules are properly observed and checked. Normally I think it's too busy, but now we could really relax.

Wonderful sauna, many options and on nice days they have a wonderful reclining meadow. just a shame they don't have so many pours that are free. At 12, 3 and 6 pm they are free and very busy and you have to pay for it.
But besides that, it is a wonderful place to relax and recharge your human battery.

Well organized, very quiet (we have been during the week), Wide range of sauna and baths and great service. Unfortunately food is very pricey.

Busy, but once inside, not much is noticeable because of the wide range of saunas and various baths. We have been able to relax!

Super nice and wonderfully relaxing. It is a shame that it is so much outside because in bad weather this is not super. The infusion scent trip is definitely recommended but go here especially with nice weather

The massages were wonderful and relaxing. Good reception, but the buffet was very expensive and a bottle of half a liter of water almost 4 euros is very outrageously expensive. 0.30 at the AH. So out of its proportions. The sauna area is great and fantastic infusions.

Yesterday for the first time on swimwear day (Sunday) at this sauna. Not recommended! Almost all saunas were full, so having to walk several laps outside in the cold and not being able to go seems not the intention. In some saunas it looked like a chicken coop, too busy and people talked loudly as if they were sitting in the pub. Pouring was already full while 30 people were waiting outside in line. Smoothie costs 6 euros .. then you would think you get a fresh juice, but unfortunately just out of a pack! Staff were nice by the way, but I definitely don't have to go here anymore! Would recommend setting a limit on swimwear day based on reservations.

Large sauna complex with many facilities. Almost always busy.

Far too many people for the space there is. As a result, there are spaces that you cannot use. Also in terms of showers and scrub showers especially too little. Too bad because it is very beautiful in terms of location and further facilities.

Wonderful wellness resort to enjoy the various saunas intensely and in peace. Great that they have so many swimwear days. And no matter how busy it is, this is usually not very noticeable. Guests quickly spread out over the large grounds

Last Saturday went to the bathing suit day, it sometimes seemed like total anarchy .... in silent spaces is plenty of talk and almost not actively maintained! it is also bizarrely busy ... you are going to relax, but because of the cackling of other guests it will be a lot less relaxing! even in relaxation rooms it was necessary to converse pressure, this was my 2nd x bathing suit day ... 2x too busy .... 2x the same problem in terms of sound! used to be regular days, much more relaxed and less busy. is it purely related to bathing suits day? for now I think so, most guests see the wellness resort as a large tropical swimming pool ... and apparently do not understand that there really are people coming for the silence and peace!

Nice saunas, lots of choice. The pouring sauna was really delicious! Also booked a relaxation massage, massage itself was fine but due to the fact that there is a staff room above the massage room it is not very relaxing. Furthermore, you pay a lot of money if you want to eat / drink a snack but generally had a good experience!

Very nice and spacious outside. But inside it was not much. Cold even. Also no special saunas. All a bit the same in my opinion. I imagine this is a top location in the summer. Now it was a bit disappointing ...

Nice facilities but too expensive and the food is bad especially for the amounts you pay. Fresh gravy hold something out of a carton and the ravioli was salty and undercooked. Too bad you lost a lot of money for a day out and a nice lunch is nice.

To be found all together, seems like a maze. I personally think that more signposts would not be wrong. Especially when you are there for the first time. . The new part (at least it looks) looks very neat and well cared for.

Definitely recommended for a day out with your friend.

Wonderful place to unwind. The atmosphere is nice and everything looks neat.

Clean and professional. The prices are a bit high at the food and drink occasions but not too happy.

When the weather is nice, the hammocks outside at the sandy area are a fantastic place to be!

The only thing we really notice is the slippery floor in the indoor saunas on the ground floor. Smooth! Slippery both with slippers and with bare feet. Have to pay attention a few times.

Customer service earns a maximum of 1 star. Really worthless. Booking with E tickets is a drama, there are still booking costs! Why? You have to book via the internet, I understand that is much more convenient (if it works) so you will be penalized with booking costs .... an error message always came back when booking. Couldn't make a reservation. So call. You enter a labyrinth of a choice menu that makes you tired. Customers are not walking money bags though. Those are people.

Although it is large and they often have competitive offers, it is usually too busy and many people are not familiar with the sauna etiquette or do not stick to it enough. Infusion also less than I am used to from other places.

After being a day today never again! Outdoor pool really filthy. Small tub outside all yellow and dirty. Sauna smelly and some saunas just off. Herbal bath was cold.
And not even talking about the food. La place is the same. I miss optimal relaxation by sitting and being cared for. Clean it up yourself afterwards. And then the food is quite pricey.
Staff is really sago and that starts at the reception.

I'm really skipping this sauna from now on.

Come for years satisfactorily but find the prices at the restaurant / bar is so high. Mini Apple Pastry with whipped cream 5.75 euro. The food is not that special either. Sauna facilities great!

Have been here several times. Very nice wellness resort with good saunas, large whirlpools, good food and very good infusions! I don't understand why so many people are extremely negative in the reviews. But that is probably due to our Dutch (complaining) mentality.

accommodation is fine. However, ridiculously high prices for poor food spoil a lot of the fun. A croquette sandwich for 8.50. I don't know if this makes me laugh or cry.

Made reservation say you are not there for 1 hour driven back and forth very bad thing never come again

I am not a sauna person, let me put that first. The Zwaluwhoeve was therefore a special experience. A huge maze where I felt a little left to my own devices. No staff in sight to guide you. I did receive a map at the reception. But they did not even know the entrance to it. Let alone where I had to go as a beginner. "Here you have Floor Plan # 2, find it out." It seemed a bit rushed and ignorant. It was really a chicken coop in saunas and baths that were all around with signs saying 'don't speak silence'. Audiobook sauna was called a whisper book or no-one-sound sauna yesterday. And when it gets dark outside, the soggy couples who really hang around in their arms are shamelessly everywhere. Changing clothes: yes I want to but if everyone spreads the mess on the already limited amount of benches then you cannot turn your ass. The food was ... well, just food. Not much special. And the package didn't even include a welcome drink. I find 35 quite a lot of money. Oh but that hot stone massage was wonderful. Conclusion: I just don't really understand why you want to be in sweat booths for a few hours at a time. Nice to experience once. The almost 90 does not make me come back again soon.

In the rain it is very busy inside and you can hardly pass each other in the narrow passages or you can lose your bathrobe / towel. Booked the rasul treatment, that was very nice! The hanging chairs and mats are wonderful. It is a pity that there are no prices for the dishes of the self-service restaurant.

In itself good and had a nice day but the food could be better little choice for lunch and a bit of fantasy.

The sauna factory

It was too busy, the staff has little attention, sometimes does not even make eye contact and does not give the feeling of being a real host. For things like singing bowl sessions you have to pay separately and then we had to stand in line for tickets at the reception. We often stood in line too long, outside in the cold. In the pouring sauna there was loud music, the personal taste of music of the master of ceremony. He had the voice of an army commander, he made foolish jokes, he threw water over us while we were closed with our eyes as a joke / cooling. And in between he asked for silence again. Never had such a restless sauna experience. This was our first and last visit to the sauna factory.

During swimwear days it has been VERY VERY PRUCH !!!
So whether or not you go into your nakie and enjoy some rest or crammed with 40/60 others in the sauna .....

Many visitors are not really aware lately that talking loudly is not common in the sauna & that others come here for peace and relaxation.
Furthermore, the staff hardly ever touches on this .....

Again enjoyed the beautiful infusions by the very professional staff.

Had a wonderful day! Fine saunas, wonderful (bubble) baths, good food, friendly staff. And it smelled nice everywhere! Small minus ... pity there were no magazines and yes, the prices of the consumptions are on the high side. However, the price of the dinner buffet was not too bad. Definitely until next time !!

Today went to the swimwear day. Despite the crowds really enjoyed it. Will definitely come back, but without swimwear day.

Top sauna. Many offerings and many different activities such as pouring sauna.

At booking I was almost done with it, 10, - booking costs? Serious? This was done anyway and on arrival our entire booking did not seem to exist. Everything looked neat and clean, the 2 person locker is nice but just big enough for 2 people if you kick everything in a bit. Meanwhile we were ready for the sauna, a round about the sauna square and we came to the conclusion that there are no saunas above 75 degrees, fine if the humidity is high ... unfortunately ... not so , the first 4 saunas we came out just as dry as we went inside. Time for a lunch, after having waited 20 minutes for an employee to decide to do the more expensive self-service, where you will soon lose 15 euros for a sandwich and a cola. After lunch it was time for a pouring, where in other saunas every half an hour you have poured in 5 different saunas you could choose from 1 counted sauna once the 1.5 hours. pouring starts at 13:00 (3 hours after the wellness has opened) the pouring was nice at last some sweat. The handy tips cool from your feet to your heart is then nullified by just putting a cold shower in the neighborhood, if you really want to cool from your feet to your heart you have to cross the entire terrain. The environment is okey birds dare to get pretty close. The zwaluwhoeve is a neat sauna, but saves the shelf with the ridiculous prices for food and drinks the booking and other costs (yes another 5.75 extra for god may know what at checkout) and the lack of pouring and hot saunas complete wrong in my opinion. Nice but expensive way to get acquainted with the sauna but for the more often going saunaganger this is not much more as a swimming pool with some heated rooms where people are sitting naked.

I thought it was all very big. I found the dressing room annoying.
The salmon sandwich, with culinary arrangement, I found very disappointing. Very hard bread and not really tasty. For a sandwich of 7.95 they could have paid more attention to it. No, not worth repeating :-(

Nice outdoor space. Drinks are expensive. Enough choice in sauna or baths. We only miss a really hot 90 degree sauna. The Buitenhuys comes closest. But we think saunas of 70 degrees are too cold :))

It is large. But with a really small sauna everywhere and that makes it cozy. Every conceivable sauna is there for everyone.
Food is good, self-service, but is that really bad? Otherwise you may have to wait a long time for your food, so there are always pros and cons. Pricey though, but honestly ...... that is in every sauna.
Then why not 5 stars?
Paint peeling off, stairs that sink to the outdoor pool, rain gutters hanging crookedly. Drama ?, no, but if they make this right, they would get 5 stars.

We went to the Zwaluwhoeve again yesterday, this time the new one. It already started in the changing rooms where you can hear everyone complaining that with all those bags you only get 1 dressing safe per 2 people. This was at 10 in the morning and there are plenty of lockers there! The thought behind this is probably clogging, because oh .. it could happen that we get all the lockers full today .. The hammam that we had booked at 64 EURO per person was super, great masseur / masseuse. Only the Turkish tea and Turkish fruit afterwards a big flop! You can eat it in the Buitenhuys, hello? Service? Then ask yourself because the ladies are busy chatting, even though they saw you coming in. Tea water coming from the hot tap? The foam was on it, lukewarm and in a glass with which you are finished after 2 sips .. turkish fruit a jelly block with excessive powdered sugar .. and that for 64 EURO per person? !!! Come on, you expect boiled tea water and a bit of decent tea, no Pickwick and maybe instead of that jelly block, an apple with some cinnamon. And if I may give a tip .. Give that Turkish tea nice in that waiting room, then you hold the feeling of the hammam for a moment, instead of the friendly service in the Buitenhuys. Moreover, the upholstery of the seats in the Buitenhuys really needs to be cleaned, a simple steam device can help you solve this problem. And maybe a sign DO NOT disturb on the door that during the hammam others do not open the door and stand to look, what happened to us up to 2x while you lie there! Well .. then you want to eat something around the clock from 1 pm. Eating outside is not an option, because smokers and non-smokers are just mixed up ... which also includes the necessary comments, as there are more non-smokers than smokers. Just like the fixed ashtrays at most doors, what draws to smoke there. Most saunas / wellness areas now have a separate smoking area and terrace / catering are smoke-free. No more ash in your food and drinks. Culinary market so just visited .. French fries, croquette, pizza, culinary? And the prices are not in proportion because you walk / wait past the buffet. We eat out regularly and then you have these prices in restaurants where staff serve you from all sides (and is friendly). It may be (partly) fresh, but I think the price is not in proportion to quality. Pepper in the mills are leftovers together because we had grit of old black pepper on top of the mixed peppercorns at the bottom. Salt and pepper sets were dirty. Apart from that, it turned out that if there was a calamity in the culinary market, ALL doors were closed all but 1! Are the curtains (rags) on top of the beams fixed with BRICK? !! It must give a luxurious appearance but is finished in a cheap way. Similarly outside the loungers, without cushions, completely sagged and floor slats broken, black lounge sets also almost all sagged. There were a few good sun beds but by far too few in relation to the number of guests. And as a guest, can everyone sit / lie properly? Outside, a locked toilet is also not enough for the amount of guests who visit the Zwaluwhoeve. I no longer had the feeling of a sauna, but the idea of staying at a holiday park, unfortunately ...

You can wait for some time to come in at all. Given the number of visitors, the reception is much too small. Once inside, you will be surprised by the poor hygiene and the high prices for everything, slippers 8.50, bathrobe 8.50, soft drinks 4.25 .... You are not allowed to bring any food or drink yourself, which forces you to accept the prizes. The capacity of the swimming pools and saunas are far too low considering the number of visitors. Most saunas were ram full. Finally left after 2.5 hours.

Hygiene, capacity and prices are certainly a point for attention.

In itself relaxed but too busy and the consumptions far too expensive. Furthermore, more and more swimwear days, the real sauna goer is not made easy.
Everything else clean and friendly staff.
